Application management is achieved through XML based deployment, spawning, re-spawning and load balancing. It also monitors memory, temperature, network and computing resources of the system for SLA violations (Service Level Agreement) and triggers pre-configured corrective actions. AMSM helps in ensuring high application availability across the system and provides robust software level fault tolerance. The software is made of two autonomous computing unit viz. AMSM Agent and AMSM Controller.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126858940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The image acquisition system consisted of a CMOS camera, LED ring lighting and a sample platform. A dockage identification model was designed for identification and classification of dockage types using multi-class support vector machine (SVM) classifier. The algorithm considered 5 morphological and 9 colour features from the acquired images and results showed an overall classification accuracy of 90.3%. The mean classification accuracies for paddy, organic and inorganic impurities, varietal admixture and grain admixture were 85%, 83.2%, 93%, 98% and 93.6%, respectively. This approach can be used as a rapid, non-destructive quality evaluation technique for paddy based on visual attributes.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129159013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is the main future technology in information sharing. Achieving performance in IOT is challenging one due to heavy communication. The main assistance of this proposed work discussed IOT with Green computing trends in future network world. The network established based on multi hop tree based neighbour selection network. When network connected by self-organizing need to find children nodes, hop count, distance among nodes, and remaining energy to reach the base station (BS). Any object can join in the network thus constructs tree based communication. So that dynamically network adjusted and energy usage minimized to extend the network lifetime. Also by the cooperation among multiple BS long distance transmission power (Tx Pwr) can be reduced thus increases the throughput and spectrum handling. Among BS sleep and active state brings the energy and bandwidth minimum utilization.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124614239","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is due to the cholesterol deposition on the walls of the blood vessels. In India, it is estimated that one fifth of all deaths are due to CAD. Analysis of ST segment elevation is the most widely used approach to detect coronary artery disease. Several conditions that are associated with the elevation of ST — Segment are Myocardial Infarction, pericarditis, Myocarditis, Bundle Branch Block, and early repolarization. It is very difficult to distinguish these conditions for the physician. The early diagnosis of these diseases is important for the cardiac patients. This paper reviews the challenges in the diagnosis of cardiac diseases using ECG signal and the recent trends in method of analysis of ST segment on ECG signal by presenting the ECG signal preprocessing, feature extraction and classification techniques.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124642017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conventional image similarity assessment like MSE, structural similarity (SSIM) and PSNR cannot be directly applied to analyze the alteration between pair of images with distinct dynamic ranges. This paper calculates the grade of tone mapped images by using structural fidelity along with statistical naturalness. Determining the image grade has essential significance for many image processing tools and applications. The algorithm should automatically assess the grade of images and it should perform closely with the quality of human perception. Subjective evaluation is the straight and genuine way to assess tone mapped pictures however it is costly and highly time absorbing, making them difficult to be set into automatic optimization algorithms.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124675083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A skilled inspector goes around the aircraft and checks the surface for damages such as dents, cracks and corrosion. This is however, a laborious task and sometimes maybe ineffective. This raises the need for a system to automate the process in order to make it faster, efficient and reliable. A probe going around the aircraft capturing its images and transferring them to a PC which performs image processing algorithms may be an alternative solution to the current visual inspection method. 2D image processing can also aid in detecting damages, but it also detects surface features such as writings, markings etc as damages which makes it difficult to identify the damage. 3D reconstruction of the surface can give clear cut idea about the surface and it can also help measurement. Fringe projection profilometry is one of the widely used methods to reconstruct surfaces, models, etc where fringe patterns are projected on the surface to be reconstructed and phase information is retrieved from the captured fringe images in order to reconstruct the surface. This necessitates the response of the projector to be linear so that the grayscale variations in the profile are projected properly. However, commercially available projectors are gamma distorted which needs to be corrected first. This paper describes studies carried out to study the effect of gamma correction in the surface reconstruction and the validation of a look up table (LUT) based gamma correction method. As the aircraft surfaces can be of different types, it is required to validate the methodology on different surfaces, with LUT made by capturing projected patterns on different surfaces. The results indicate that the method is independent of the surface used and the projector brightness levels.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124474658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These experiments are divided into two sections that describes it using infrastructure-based and infrastructure-less network. Section A: Infrastructure-based mode and Section B: Infrastructure-less mode consists of both static and mobile modes with constant bit rate application along with Voice over internet protocol based on H.323 respectively. We have also shown the difference in the two modes using different protocols like adhoc on-demand distance vector and dynamic mobile adhoc network on-demand for both the sections. We have calculated the throughput for each section and the simulation of each configuration has been done using QualNet software of version 6.1. From the experiments we have shown the comparison between the two functional modes of Wireless local area network i.e. infrastructure and ad-hoc. We have also discussed different applications where either ad-hoc and infrastructure modes or either of them can be used, with enhanced rate using suitable protocols.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124507375","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meter is a set of well defined rules that gives rhythm to the poetry. In this paper, we present a poetic meter classification algorithm implemented on TMS320C6713 floating point digital signal processor. Meter classification is done based on the similarity measure obtained from the matching of melodic pitch of poems. At first, melodic pitch is computed from the audio files using a Sonic Visualizer plug-in called MELODIA and then classification is performed using dynamic time warping (DTW) framework. The systematic evaluation is done on subset of a new database, created on studio environment, comprises of 10 meters of Malayalam language. The algorithm is successfully implemented on C6713 DSK. The results demonstrate the potential of the algorithm in music information retrieval applications.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"147 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124044436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Speech can be considered as one of the most preferred and easiest modes of interaction. Speech Recognition is the technique of automatically identifying spoken words from voice signals. Due to the multilingual nature of our country, we are habituated in using a mixture of languages in the course of verbal interaction and so, prior to recognizing speech, it is essential to determine the respective languages to which the spoken words belong. RECAL (Record Extract Classify According to Language) is a system, aimed towards identification of languages from multilingual voice signals. To start with, Mel Scale Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) based features have been used to model languages using 9300 uttered numerals amidst 3 languages (English, Bangla and Hindi). An accuracy of 98.39% has been obtained considering the similarity between Bangla and Hindi numerals and avoidance of noise gating to simulate real world environment.","PeriodicalId":123773,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132131878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
