High purity hydrogen gas was exposed to the sample together with the ambient gas of either air or pure nitrogen or without ambient gas (vacuum) at pressure in the range of 50 Torr to 200 Torr was used for both types of ambient gases. The sensing characteristics at different hydrogen concentration are investigated. However, little of them involve glitch reconvergence. In this paper, we discuss how to estimate SER in combinational logic when considering reconvergence. We present Boolean difference expressions for the sensitization condition of six reconvergence categories so that symbolic technique can be used to compute logical masking of reconvergence. We develop an equivalent glitch method so that STA (Static Timing Analysis) like pre- characterization method can be applied to compute electrical masking of reconvergence. Furthermore, latching window masking of reconvergence is discussed. Experiment results of ISCAS'85 benchmark circuit show that considering of reconvergence will cause overall 13.9% SER reduction. The time and memory cost of our method is moderate. Data replication is considered as a major technique for increasing access performance and data availability in DG systems. Current works on data replications in Grid systems focuses on infrastructure for replication mechanism for creating or deleting replicas. One of the challenges in data replication is determining Optimal Number of Replicas (ONR) with Quality of Service (QoS) assurance, as well as their Optimal Location of Replicas (OLR) in DG. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that finds ONR of an object over DG systems, such that the overall communication and storage cost is minimized. This algorithm ensures that QoS required from the users are satisfied. One of the problems faced by face recognition system in real-time applications is the face image with poor quality conditions affecting the performance of the system especially in the face detection and face identification/verification phases. Quality problems observed such as shadows, hotspots, video artifacts, blurring, salt & pepper noise and movement blurring are common noises that affect the face recognition that uses Webcam as the image capturing device. This paper proposes a solution of how the image quality for the face recognition can be improved. A query Q is decomposed into a number of sub-queries, and each of which is processed independently on a processing element(PE), then all the results of sub-queries are \"joined\" and returned as Q's results. In this scheme, the query processing time of Q depends on the time of its last finished sub-query. Though it is very important, there are few works studied the performance of multi-query processing on Fork-join model. In this paper, we present a model, called CSD(coefficient of scheduling distance), to evaluate the influence of independent PE scheduling on the total completion time . All the experiments are conducted on DBroker, a large-scale production system for network security management. Hence, there is a need for alternative mechanism to overcome these problems. Graphical passwords, which consist of clicking or dragging activities on the pictures rather than typing textual characters, might be the option to overcome the problems that arise from the text-based passwords system. In this paper, a comprehensive study of the existing graphical password schemes is performed. We compared and categorized these schemes into two groups; recognition-based scheme and recall-based scheme. OFDM is widely used in contemporary communication systems for its good robustness in multipath environment, and its high spectral efficiency. The capacity of wireless system can be increased dramatically by employing multiple input multiple output, (MIMO) antennas. The combination of MIMO and OFDM system is found to be very beneficial. A major drawback of OFDM-MIMO system is its high peak to average power ratio (PAPR) Reduction. The peak power of a signal is a critical design factor for band limited communication systems, and it is necessary to reduce it as much as possible. Here a modified Interleaving PAPR reduction technique is proposed. The higher the numbers of nodes that trust each other in the network means the higher successful communication process rates could be expected. To determine trust, there are several criteria need to be considered. These criteria which are also known as features or evidences can be used to represent each node's trust properties in the trust evaluation process prior to initiating certain packet forwarding task. Nodes that are able to present valid features requested by source node will be included in the MANET operations. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of security vulnerabilities in MANET and the use of trust concept to enhance the security. This particular method utilized the combination of meteorological observations with information extracted from remote sensing data. The modified SEBAL model using data from Landsat TM and NOAA-AVHRR sensors, has been used to estimate net radiation, soil heat flux, sensible heat flux and ETfor Sana'a Basin in Yemen. The area is known for arid and semi-arid weather condition with undulating topographic. Remote sensing data for year 95, 96 and 1998 were used as a primary image for this study. Actual ET was computed during satellite overpass and integrated for 24-h on pixel-by-pixel basis for daily ET distribution. Due to the topographic effects, an attempt has also been made to incorporated DEM information for estimating the net radiation. As a result, a daily ET map generated from metrological observation was compared with estimated ET data simulated from remote sensing data.
