The results from our optical simulation show that the presence of SWCNTs in the active layer composite of P3HT:PC60BM based BHJ OSC improves the exciton generation rate by broadening the absorption spectra towards the NIR region. The exciton generation rate and intensity of absorption was seen to improve as the added content of SWCNT increased. These parameters are known to be the key parameters of a solar cell to determine its performance. We change the band gap of the CIGS absorber layer by changing its alloy composition. ATLAS SILVACO is used to construct and simulate the CIGS solar cell structure with standard AM1.5 spectra. The open circuit voltage and the maximum power increase almost linearly with the band gap. However, the change in short circuit current and the fill factor with the CIGS bandgap does not show any formal relation. Electrical characteristics of a 100 nm thick and 10 µm long p-type poly-silicon nanowire with a doping density of 1016/cm3 is investigated. For positive drain voltage application nanowire's output characteristics exhibit a non-linear diode like behavior whereas for negative drain voltages output characteristics exhibit a perfect transistor behavior with saturation in the characteristics. While nanowire's output characteristics reveal quite a drastic change with drain bias polarity, the sub-threshold characteristics exhibit excellent behavior for both positive and negative drain bias application with a sub-threshold slope of 102.61 mv/decade implying that poly silicon nanowire is good candidate for bio sensing operation with an achievable sensitivity around 800%. It is also found that for positive drain voltages sub-threshold characteristics shifts with the change in drain bias providing the flexibility of a wide range of liquid gated voltages for physiological activity monitoring. For negative drain voltages sub-threshold characteristics does not shift thereby restricting the applicable liquid gate voltages for sensitive operation of biosensors. This paper is focused to put emphasis on implementing a clustering protocol inspired from Fruit Fly (FF) movement to reduce the power usage of the sensor nodes by using shortest paths possible for data transmission and in turn enhancing the life time of the network. The whole network is partitioned into several areas by the FF algorithm. At first place, energy efficiency was the vital motto to thrive for implementing FF algorithm. Network lifetime analysis using CH selection method and data transmission efficiency were tested using FF algorithm based clustered in WSN. The aim of this study was to analyse inaccuracies of citations and referencing in the international journal of computer science and engineering published in 2015 (volume no. 7, issue nos. 1–12). This study was an experiment-based and results revealed that referencing errors of volume 7 in issue no. 1 has the highest error rate of 5% and on the other hand, issue nos. 6 and 8 have the lowest error rate of 1.4%. Similarly, in the issue no. 2, error rate is 2.5%; issue nos. 3 and 4, error rate are 2.3%; issue no. 5, error rate is 2.5%; issue no. 7, error rate is 1.7%; issue no. 9, error rate is 1.5%; issue no. 10, error rate is 3.1%; issue no. 11 and 12, error rate are 3% and 1.7% respectively. However, the results also shown that citation errors in volume 7 for the issue nos. 3, 5, 7, and 12 do not have any errors, nevertheless, issue no. 4 has the highest error rate of 3.7%, followed by 3.6% (issue no. 9), 1.3% (issue nos. 1, 6, and 11), 1.2% (issue no. 8), and 1.1% (issue no. 2). A novel eighteen-sector based DTFC scheme incorporating a model based loss minimization algorithm is proposed to mitigate the torque ripples and achieve high efficiency as compared to the conventional six-sector based DTFC scheme. Finally, in order to have direct and better control of reducing the torque/flux ripples further, a nonlinear control incorporating motor electromagnetic developed torque and stator air-gap flux linkage as virtual control variables is developed. In conventional nonlinear controller d-q axis currents (id, iq) are considered as virtual control variables that indirectly controls the torque/flux which may not be suitable for high performance drives. Thus, the proposed work overcomes the major drawback (i.e., torque ripple) of the conventional DTFC based IPMSM drive. Financial services through the internet are running under various threats like phishing, pharming (cyber attack intended to redirect a website's traffic to another fake site), malware, Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) attack and the evolving sophistication of compromise techniques. One time password (OTP) in online banking system alleviate the risk and make it secure. In various methods of OTP and Mobile Transaction Authentication Number (mTAN), device can be lost or stolen, delivery in delay, etc. Compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC) and sanctions requirements continues to be a key focus area for financial institution (FI) management, and firms must ensure they are following appropriate compliance procedures to meet the increasing regulatory demands [1, 2]. Addressing existing limitation of OTP, this paper proposes Challenge Question (CQ) from dynamic KYC database for transaction authorization before committing any financial transaction from online banking application. Transmitted pulse is controllable in amplitude and duration, enabling flexible shaping of the Power Spectral Density (PSD) of the signal. Both circuits use IR-UWB based on edge combining methods. Pulses of 220ps–380ps (center frequency 5GHz–8GHz) duration and 140mV–320mV peak to peak amplitude is achievable. Both the circuits draw energy of around 4.4pJ/pulse. After development of Simulink model of a PV array, a load was connected via a DC-DC converter and PO method was applied to adjust the duty cycle of the converter. The change required in duty cycle with respect to load and insolation have been critically observed. Observations shows that MPPT algorithms work erratically due to insufficient delay between two consecutive feedbacks and improper starting point of duty cycle. These points are discussed in details in this paper.
