HRQOL is a typical example of a biopsychosocial construct, by its biological (i.e. physical functioning), psychological (i.e. mental health) and social aspects (i.e. social functioning) (3). HRQOL is generally divided into measures of physical functioning and emotional well-being (4). Quality of Life is a critical concept with major importance in the life of an employee which shows an appropriate balance between work and personal life, organizational productivity and job satisfaction (5). In fact, employees with the poorest mental health have a strong intention to retire early (6, 7). The sample size was 31 employees who were randomly selected from all working employees in the hospital. Selected employees were provided with two 60-minute session workshop as educational program. Data collected using demographic questionnaire and Short form of Quality of Life questionnaire (SF-36) at the begriming of the study and at 3month follow up. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and analytical tests (paired T-Test). Findings: Totally 31 employees with mean age of 40 ± 9.04 were participated in the study. Comparing HRQOL dimensions of the studied participants before and after intervention indicated the improvement of dimensions as Role physical (P=0.01), Bodily pain (P= 0.04), General health (P= 0.04), Vitality (P= 0.008), Role emotional (P= 0.03), and Mental health (P= 0.003). As many studies indicated that NP is common among teachers, this study aimed to assess the risk factors of occupational neck pain in among teachers based on Health Belief Model (HBM). Method and Materials: In this descriptive-analytical study, 224 teachers from 26 schools were selected randomly. Based on inclusion criteria, 144 participants were eligible and included in the study. A self-designed questionnaire was applied to collect data. The obtained data were analyzed through Pearson correlation test by using SPSS version 24 and. Findings: This study showed there is a significant relationship between teachers’ occupational neck pain and various factors such as age, gender, work experience, doing exercise, awareness, perceived sensitivity, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, cues to action, self-efficacy, and prevent behavior (P <0.05 in all instances). Conclusion: As this study indicated the majority of the risk factors associated with neck pain can be controlled, providing educational training program for teachers to reduce occupational neck pain is strongly recommended. Introduction Globally, MusculoSkeletal Disorders (MSDs) are one of the most common occupational diseases and injuries that leading to disability and cause the highest number of work-related complaints[1]. It has been shown that MSDs have a significant influence on Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) in industrialized and developing countries [2]. Neck pain is one of the most common Work-Related MusculoSkeletal Disorders (WMSDs) [3]. This study set out to determine this health problem due to carrying school bag in students studying in high schools of Ardabil, Iran. Method and Materials: This study was carried out among adolescent students in Ardabil city, Iran, in 2019. To collect data a socio-demographic questionnaire was used to complete demographic variables. Furthermore, standard scales were applied to measure weight and height of the students as well as weight of their school backpack. All data entered into the SPSS statistical software and analysed through descriptive analysis tests to determine the status of backpack among secondary high school students in Ardabil, Iran. Findings: A total of 474 adolescent students with mean age of (13.51±1.13 years) were assessed in this study. According the findings, more than half of studied students used backpack while going to school. Although, pain control is a fundamental human rightCovid-19 coronavirus epidemic has closed many pain treatment clinics [2]. The disease has significantly affected the level of public health of human communities and hospital facilities to provide medical services [3]. Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most common complaints in health systems of countries which is the reason why many people go to medical centers every day. The main cause of these pains is related to damage to soft tissues such as muscles, fascia, ligaments, tendons and other components of soft tissue in the form of stretching or partial rupture in varied degrees that can cause inflammation, pain, tissue dysfunction. In physical medicine and rehabilitation, various methods are used to manage pain by physiotherapists in acute and chronic conditions [3]. Acute pain usually occurs as a result of sudden pressure that cause affected tissues and dysfunction. Chronic pain also usually occurs as a result of incomplete treatment of tissue or joint injuries. If these problems are not corrected, neuropathic pain may follow. Therefore, care and management of pain is important, especially during the Covid-19 epidemic because of reduced access to hospitals and medical resources [4]. Furthermore, stress, anxiety, and isolation-related problems caused by this epidemic may also worsen the painful symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and lead to decreased performance in the suffered people.It has been argued that untreated chronic pain can exacerbate depression in about 50% of patients which may lead to suicide in 35% of affected cases [2]. Pain related to the musculoskeletal system is either related to previous disorders and problems of the system or is a complication of the disease such as myalgia, arthralgia, muscle fatigue, and headache. Care and management of acute musculoskeletal pain during the Covid-19 epidemic has been discussed as following: Using the Resting the pain site, Ice using, Compressing the pain site,and Elevating the pain site (RICE) strategy:","PeriodicalId":122814,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Musculoskeletal Pain Prevention","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114286180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
