In the context of sustainable development for a border security system, it has been identified the need to better understand it, evaluate its capabilities and identify the key trade-offs between different elements. Recalling the complexity of border surveillance subsystem, which is generated by the diversity and high number of illegal cross-border activities that should be detected at land border, a high number of resources and technologies are needed. Optimal surveillance solution to help preventing and deterring illegal activities along land borders are required. Considering the interdependent performances for border surveillance subsystem, the paper presents a mathematical framework to support the selection of surveillance solutions at land border. This control technique is based on the Taylor series expansion. The nonlinear predictive controller minimum variance (CPNLVM) has the objective of minimizing the error between the model output of the system and the output of the reference model. The operating principle of our approach is presented and analyzed at first, later the validation of our model is realized on Matlab & Simulink. SRV-02 DC servo system produced by Quanser is equipped with a DC motor. Servo system is loading by using various metallic weights and performance analysis are made according to international performance criteria. This stage is mandatory in order to determine if two analog signals, one considered “target” and the other “reference”, have a certain amount of similarity and the “target” waveform maintain its integrity reported to the “reference” waveform. This analysis can be used for diagnosis of conditioning circuits of the vibro-acoustic data acquisition systems in order to verify the analogic signals passing through the preconditioning circuits of the AD converters. A cross-correlation algorithm is used to quantify the integrity of the “target” signal respect to the “reference” signal. So, the competence can be understood as a synthetic, specific and integrative combination of capabilities, knowledge, skills and attitudes. The concept of pedagogical competence acquires specific valences according to the concrete educational situation in which the teacher finds in the sense that the system of information assimilated during the years of the initial forming for the didactic career is structured according to the model of the educative action required. In defining the concept of teaching competence it is noted that it should be put in relation with the first objective social side, on the one hand, given the nature and complexity of tasks that make up the content of the various spheres of social activity and the different functions and subjective-psychological plane which is resultant of knowledge, skills, abilities and temperamental traits characteristic which the individual has, in order to fulfill the social function that he is invested with. (Marcus, 1999). Thus, the competence means “the ability to behave in a particular, in a social situation, in order to empirically prove effective, approved operating environment” (Rosencrantz, Biddler, 1964 in Marcus, 1999). In this paper it is focused to design highly efficient high-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator of in-runner, surface mounted, 4 poles, 2 kW and 26500 rpm for turbomachinery systems especially for turbocharger which will be used in our micro-CHP project. The criteria of selecting materials, suitable machine type, rotor structures and initial boundary conditions are explained. Electric and magnetic design of the High Speed Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (HSPMSG) is conducted analytically in Ansys RMxprt with parametric solutions and analyzed in Ansys Maxwell 2D&3D by finite element method (FEM) with magnetostatic and transient solutions to adjust the detailed machine shape finely and to obtain the best design parameters. The retaining sleeve is also used to provide mechanical integrity and continuity of the HSPMSG and to understand whether it is suitable for working conditions at related speeds or not.
