This study uses Edmund Husserl's phenomenological analysis which emphasizes understanding which is related to action, speech, and interaction. The Dayak Kenyah tribe considers customary marriage as an inseparable part of each stage. This means that each stage, procession and ritual must be held sequentially. For the Dayak Kenyah tribe, processions and rituals of marriage culture have a high and deep conceptuality. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the traditional Dayak Kenyah marriage has a philosophical meaning. The traditional marriage of the Dayak Kenyah tribe requires very deep symbols and eating. This is because the symbol is a legacy value left by their ancestors to be preserved and passed down to the next generations. This traditional marriage is not only intended and has a meaning to continue the lineage. Instead, the Dayak Kenyah tribe also attaches deep meaning to the implementation or holding of traditional marriages. This philosophical value has been passed down from generation to generation. Although the main philosophical value is to continue the descendants of the Dayak Kenyah, there are still many other philosophical meanings related to the survival of the Dayak Kenyah tribe","PeriodicalId":122710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126356965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two research questions guided the study while two hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. Quasi experimental design, specifically pre-test and post-test group was adopted. The sample for the study was 80 SSII Students comprised of males and females from intact class. The two classes were randomly assigned experimental group I and II. The experimental group one was taught with demonstration method while experimental group II were taught with blended learning and. The treatment lasted for four weeks. The instruments for data collection were Agricultural Achievement Test (AAT) comprising thirty questions and Interest Inventory. The two instruments used for data collection were validated by three experts all from Department of Agricultural Education. The reliability of the instruments was established using Cronbach alpha for AAT and Kudder-Richardson 20 for AII. AAT and AII yielded a coefficient of 0.74 and 0.77 respectively. Mean, standard deviation and Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) were used to analyze the data collected for the study. Findings of the study revealed that blended learning enhanced students’ achievement and interest in Agricultural science more than demonstration method. Furthermore, the tested hypotheses revealed that there was significant different between the effects of demonstration and blended learning on students’ interest in Agricultural science. Hence, the study recommended amongst others that; that the federal ministry of education should provide internet facilities in secondary schools to ensure blended learning is incorporated as to improve achievement and interest of students and also state government should organize workshops, in-service training programme for teachers so that they would be conversant in the use of blended learning.","PeriodicalId":122710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114775806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is evidenced by the discovery of an increasingly diverse modus operandi of narcotics crimes. Such as the use of technological advances, namely by conducting illicit narcotics trade through the internet and organizing narcotics transactions that are increasingly sophisticated and closed, either by land, sea, or air. The illicit circulation of narcotics is getting more and more rampant, not only in big cities but has begun to spread to villages. Drug abuse is no longer a fashion or prestige, but the motivation has been used as a kind of escape. Drug abuse does not only attack adults, but also young people. Not only the poor but also the rich. Artists, high-ranking state officials, and even law enforcement officers, are not a few who are trapped in this narcotics trap. Karawang is one of the regencies in West Java Province which has urban characteristics, it is also inseparable from the problem of narcotics abuse. Based on data from the Karawang District Police, it has been shown that there is an increase in narcotics abuse cases. In 2017 there were 122 cases with 149 suspects, and in 2019 it increased to 199 cases with 246 suspects. Among the suspects are members of the Police. The existence of cases of narcotics abuse by unscrupulous members of the Police is very ironic, because the police as law enforcement officers are supposed to be law enforcers but what happens is they become law violators. Therefore, this study aims to describe and analyze the social behavior of narcotics abusers in law enforcement officers in Karawang Regency and the factors behind this social behavior. By using a qualitative approach, this study concludes: first, the social behavior of narcotics abusers in law enforcement officers in Karawang Regency is manifested in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and actions that deviate from prevailing social norms. Second, the factors behind the social behavior of narcotics abusers in law enforcement officers in Karawang Regency include internal factors, namely from unstable personalities and physically weak.","PeriodicalId":122710,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Research in Social Science and Humanities","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123073544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
