Those activities mainly include tasks based on image analysis and computer vision. Our workplace deals with many tasks of this type. The paper presents results of a specific task – automating the search for coloured cells in images. The task takes its grounds from cooperation in biochemical research projects. Such research requires analysing a huge amount of cell samples, some of which are variously coloured in order to determine their ratio on the total number of cells. This analysis has been done by manual counting so far, which is very time-consuming and whose accuracy has not been verified. Basic used algorithms are image segmentation, colour thresholding, and active contour analysis. Several methods have been tested with achieved detection accuracy of 414 cells out of 470. Further solution will deal with the division of the remaining cells. This process will take advantage of an artificial intelligence method and machine learning, most likely a neural network.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116832687","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The signal identification is based on vectorial multifractal analyse that is mathematically formalized by the spectrum singularities of Hölder exponents evaluated on the interval [$0, boldsymbol{T}$]. A fuzzy technique is used to calculate the Hölder exponents of the signal. The Husdorff parameters are evaluated by several techniques: averaging, norm, Center of Gravity Method and spectral estimation. A Type-2 Fuzzy Set method is used to classificate and sorte the signals. Numerical results of the propsed techniques are discussed.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"159 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115167921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Over the years, what makes an organization successful has been a frequently asked question. It is possible to improve its processes, those routines that consists of a set of controlled actions to accomplish a specific goal, depending on individual projects, but it is important to support sustainable principles as they align the organizational activities with clearly defined goals and benchmarks. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is defined as a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a process is running and reaching its targets. We would like to demonstrate with an example from industry, on how the methods of process measurements can change depending on the availability of complete, correct and consistent data, enabling training AI algorithms and supporting the idea of creating an augmented expert.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"234 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115218821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For these applications, not reliable communication needs to be analyzed from a signal processing point of view. Our paper contributes to this topic with the analysis of data loss as a signal distorting phenomenon. The paper contains a possible mathematical description of the data loss via the indicator function. Moreover, the Gilbert-Elliott data loss model class is presented, which gives a framework to analyse numerous data loss phenomena in general. In order to analyse the data loss in the frequency domain, the spectrum of the indicator function is required. This paper presents the derivation of the power spectral density of the Gilbert-Elliott model. The paper reviews a possible identification method for the simpler models derived from the Gilbert-Elliott model. Theoretical analysis and simulations are supported by measurements. The measurement results are used to show how the data loss models function in practice.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125517062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The control strategy assumes that the order of the integrator depends on the control error which is divided into arbitrary number of intervals. Additionally, when control signal exceed limits, the variable order anti-windup strategy is applied by setting order to zero. For these strategies orders are assigned during numerical optimization. Results obtained for different types of variable order derivative (integral) definitions $(mathcal{A},mathcal{B},mathcal{D},mathcal{E})$ types) are compared and analyzed.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131931058","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The optimization of input oxidizers was solved in three variants of objective function - maximizing calorific value, minimizing unburned carbon and complex optimization criterion, for different thermodynamic temperatures. This paper describes the design and verification of an automated system for optimizing input parameters. This system makes it possible to optimize the choice of different types of optimality criteria, to set a different initial estimate of input oxidants. The core of the system is a modified gradient method. The automated system was created and programming in the DELPHI software.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124666355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
