This recently published method enables estimating up to three points on a frequency characteristics of dynamic systems from data observed by one relay experiment. This approach was used for parameter estimation of second order plus dead time model and for PID controller autotuning. The Mosaic programming environment was used for implementat this method to the PLC Tecomat Foxtrot. The code is written in the Structured Text language. Proposed technique applicability was tested both on simulated systems and two real systems.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117109261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the presented solution the algorithm uses the velocity vectors and positions of the obstacles and the robot so the Velocity Obstacles (VO) method seems to be a good choice as a basis for the motion planning. As an assumption the obstacles do not change their velocities during the sampling time. In that case the method can plan evasive maneuvers between the robot and the obstacles. In this work, a new motion planning method is introduced that plans the velocities and the path for the mobile robot using the basic Traffic Regulations. The solution method was extended with emergency vehicles that changes the use of the Traffic Regulations during the motion planning. This method provides an appropriate solution also if there are more obstacles in the workspace. The results of the motion of the obstacles and the robot were tested in simulations.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123427912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The designed procedure was based on variability constraints and reduced model of considered system equations, characterized by constant dynamics and linearized system of algebraic equations. A multiple shooting approach was applied to divide an independent variable range into assumed number of subintervals. This approach resulted in nonlinear optimization task (NLP) with pointwise-continuous constraints. Therefore, the presented procedure was based on the efficient nonlinear optimization algorithm. Finally, some implementation issues were discussed. The effectiveness of the presented methodology was presented on a process design task subject to a nonlinear differential-algebraic model of a chemical reactor.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"21 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128455279","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Another related issue concerns the redundancy of an interconnected industrial system, while distributing the data processing capabilities in separated physical or geographical components of a SCADA-based system. Our paper deals with some of the security issues, within the Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3). In the context of Intelligent Electronic Devices acting as Remote Terminal Units (RTU), we have studied the ways in which data integrity and data-origin authentication is handled in SCADA architectures, and found that the benefits offered by electronic signatures can be incorporated within such architectures, while preserving the performance criteria. Modern RTUs are capable to handle networks of sensors, to fusion their acquired data and deliver this data through a secure communication line to a master terminal unit. We have proposed a new architectural solution by modifying the Link Protocol Data Unit of DNP3, such that support for data integrity and data-origin authentication is ensured by means of electronic signature.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128935560","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Voltage and power production of a solar panel depends heavily on the amount of irradiation which reaches the surface of the panel. The ideal output of a photovoltaic module is determined by many factors. Environmental factors directly affect the voltage and power production, pollutants on the surface, for example, can create shadow effect. Why is this important – one may ask. Energy production and efficiency of the photovoltaic module are experimentally investigated with different types of contaminations, such as dust, leaves or cement. Measurements are executed with different contaminated areas and different amounts of pollution. Power production and the type of contamination show a certain correlation. It is possible to determine how the voltage and power production drop depend on the surface contaminants.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131183785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This system is affected by the nonlinearity given by errors of triangulation range-finder, optics and tilting mechanism. They are caused, for example, by eccentric placement of mirrors to the axis of tilting, mirror unevenness or deviation in the sensor location. Another type of error occurs when incorrect measuring of the tilt angle of mirrors and either incorrect definition of the function that describe the shape of the tilt cam, or errors caused by the dynamic forces during movement. Methodology is designed to analyze data from repeated measurements of the reference objects in different positions, statistically evaluate points, remove noise and count corrections for image obtained by a known shape of test object, even though the position of object is not precisely measured.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127177781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
