The study is an attempt to analyze both heat generation and heat dissipation mechanisms within the device. In this numerical experiment an exemplary squeeze-mode device is evaluated for temperature changes resulting from mechanical and electrical inputs, respectively. We solve the resulting model based on the Stefan model, and then couple it with a lumped parameter model of the electromagnetic circuit of the actuator. In the resulting analysis the model is subjected to various types of mechanical and electrical stimuli, respectively. Finally, we present the numerical results for temperature rise and force fading.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116900122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the increasing number of cars, the time spent in traffic can be significant. A large number of methods for reducing traffic jams were carried out, almost all by optimizing the traffic depending on the minimization of some metrics related exclusively to the traffic features (car numbers, speed of travel, distance, etc.). Unfortunately, very few cars have electric motors yet. So, one of the most dramatic effect of the traffic is the pollution, especially with greenhouse effect gases. The traffic control algorithms usually don't take into account this effect, so they can lead to greenhouse gases accumulation in some areas when traffic is redirected by these algorithms. In a previous paper we have presented the idea of using low energy small devices able to measure some greenhouse gases concentration for determining the pollution in some specific areas. These devices can connect via Bluetooth with mobile phones and can communicate the pollution levels. Thus, the pollution levels can be used as additional constraints in traffic control algorithms. In this paper we present a solution based on microcontroller devices which measures the greenhouse gases and act as agents. If the concentration of greenhouse gases increases, the devices can negotiate the penalization of the route depending on the destination, travel time, etc. Also, they can send the negotiation results to a central server, which can estimate if the accepted solution will generate further increases of gases concentration over an accepted level in other locations.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123940685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Cnossos-EU model were used for this purpose. The traffic flow was measured over the period between January and December 2013. The measurements were documented at one hour intervals throughout the entire 24 hours of the day (1:00-24:00). The results of noise simulations were compared with the equivalent sound level calculated by permanent automatic sound and traffic volume monitoring station. The frequency noise analysis was calculated according to the Cnossos-EU model. The results was described using parameters such as the median C50, average peak level C90, average background noise level C10, percentiles C25 and C75. It was found that in most cases, the distribution of the tested variable was not normal. Analyzes carried out for the tested section of the road showed that the traffic of light motor - and medium heavy - vehicles is the main source of road noise. It has been shown that maximum values of the equivalent sound level occur for the frequency of 1000 Hz. The minimum values are in the octave band $f_{0}=125$ Hz.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124594861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present paper compares this numerical method with a wide selection of numerical methods that can be used in order to simulate the evolution of the systems. Although the application is designed with the purpose of simulating the evolution of mathematical models that arise from the food processing industry, it can also be used for models that come from other areas of the industry. The proposed numerical method is tested and validated by using some nonlinear models of classical systems such as Lorenz and Van der Pol, but also nonlinear models of bioprocesses.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129537857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author has identified system's architecture and, based on it, has established system's motion equations, as its non-linear mathematical model; in order to linearize it, one has used the finite differences method and, after appropriate amplifying, one has transformed it into a dimensionless system; consequently, new forms for its equations and for their coefficients were established. The Laplace transformation applying brought the system to a usable form and, based on it, the block diagram with transfer functions was built. A study concerning system's stability was performed, as well as a study concerning its quality (system's step response) and some conclusions were presented, regarding system's pre-design and its using possibilities.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128966346","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mining machines are characteristic by great investment values, costs of unplanned shutdowns, complex working conditions, and environment and workers hazards. Systematic monitoring of the mining machinery is of great importance for the management of the mining companies. Availability is the overall concept of quality of service. Includes information regarding the operating state, an idle state, a standby state and shut down. The availability can be calculated by the time coefficient, which includes mention time state. For time state tracking, specific IT structure is necessary. Such a structure is often very expensive and unavailable. An alternative is the expert system, which can absorb partial indicators of the availability, including their uncertainty, diversity, relativity. In this article, an expert's fuzzy model is presented to analyze and integrate reliability, maintainability, and functionality of three types of bulldozers that operate at the lignite mines. In the end, a comparison of the bulldozers is done. Conclusions can be used for maintenance, in logistics and during the purchasing of new machines.","PeriodicalId":122628,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Carpathian Control Conference (ICCC)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131386494","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It depends on the selection of the monitored parameters and the applications of the respective measuring members. However, the important step is to decide what to do with the obtained data, what information is relevant and what results are expected. In this contribution is considered set of measured data of the heating process consisting of several monitored parameters recorded at selected time intervals. The most typical parameters are: outdoor and indoor temperature, heat consumption, gas consumption, temperature and flow of heating medium or other parameters. There is an industrial control system used for visualization and control of industrial technologies and building automation, which allows the monitoring, storage and export of data in a suitable format for further processing. Using a Robust Adaptive Kalman Filter (RAKF), error measurements are absorbed when a Fault Tolerant Altimeter is implemented.
