The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between anxiety and the psychological readiness of children for school. The article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of anxiety and readiness for school in preschool children. The article analyzes theoretical approaches to the study of the problem of anxiety in children in foreign and domestic psychological literature. The analysis showed that among elder preschool children, anxiety has not yet a stable character trait and is relatively reversible when appropriate psychological and pedagogical activities are carried out. Considering various approaches to the study of psychological readiness for school (school maturity), the author identifies their common things and differences, and also analyzes the component structure of this construct. The author conducted an empirical study of the intellectual component of psychological readiness for school in children with different levels of anxiety. The empirical study involved 30 preschoolers aged 6 7 years attending MPEI. The analysis of the results of the conducted psychodiagnostic research showed that the overwhelming majority of children (63.4%) have an increased level of anxiety. Most children have fairly well developed verbal intelligence, but non-verbal intelligence is poorly developed. A nonlinear relationship was revealed between the level of anxiety in preschoolers and the intellectual component of psychological readiness for school. The highest level of anxiety is inherent in children with the highest degree of intellectual readiness for school. Thus, there is a non-linear relationship between anxiety and children's intellectual readiness for school.","PeriodicalId":122230,"journal":{"name":"Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128717928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Publications concerning the discussed topic are analyzed; most common problems arising during cultural-and-educational activities in educational institutions for children while working with multicultural groups are outlined. It is highlighted that the foreign view on the multicultural educational approach does not concern only ethnic groups, but other small types of social groups. For the theoretical description of the phenomena such terms as “social competence” and “multiculturalism” are used. In Soviet and modern Russian pedagogical theory scientists operate such concepts as “multicultural approach”, “tolerance”, and “ethno-tolerance”. It is emphasized that the development of the socio-cultural competence of pre-school children should be based on their full-fledged mastery of the national characteristics of the host (in this case, Russian) national culture. To support theoretical conclusions, ,a survey, which helped to more accurately describe the problems that teachers face when organizing educational activities with multicultural children's groups, was conducted in the pre-school educational institution of Omsk. 116. The results of the analysis of the kindergarten educational activity practice, including the planning and implementation of the educational activity program of the pre-school educational institution 116 in Omsk, taking into account the work in multicultural groups, are given. In particular, the program “Traditions, rituals, and songs in the life of the Russian people living in Western Siberia” (compiled by A. N. Kon’shunova), adjusted in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard, is being implemented, and a museum exhibition of Russian folk culture has been created.","PeriodicalId":122230,"journal":{"name":"Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin","volume":"42 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129660616","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The parenting education is aimed at personal development. Both the subject and the object can be the person himself there. The education of parents, in contrast to the family education, is more aimed at helping them to become a full-fledged healthy personality of the child. The main task of the article is to analyze the role of the father in the family on the example of the United States, the views of representatives of various areas of psychology and pedagogy on the role of the father are given. Two aspects of the role of the father are highlighted-traditional and new. The presence of a tendency to change the role of men in the family is shown. The role of the father is one of the most important roles that affect both the development of the new generation and the development of the father's personality. The role of the father has deep historical roots. With the advent of the new century, the traditional composition of the American family-mother, father and children – remains predominant. However, over the past decades, American society has witnessed a variety of changes in the composition of the family and its daily life. A few decades ago, the very question of the role of men in the family would have been simply inappropriate. But lately everything is different. Fatherhood has recently aroused increasing interest among researchers.","PeriodicalId":122230,"journal":{"name":"Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin","volume":"52 Pt 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128923776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article substantiates the effectiveness of gamification as a new way of organizing training, which has a huge pedagogical potential. It is proved that the use of tools for various games in the educational process increases the probability of achieving the goal, because using game practices, gamification does not turn reality into a game, but gives students game settings that correspond to reality to achieve professional tasks in the context of reality. The authors present a method of using a modern scenario for organizing students' play activities on any topic. It includes components for using game techniques in the classroom – word search, memory game, bingo, and crossword puzzle. Skills of using such techniques help students in the process of learning a foreign language, motivating students to independent creative work and solving problems within the framework of gamification, accompanying the entire educational cycle. Gamification helps to replace external motivation with internal motivation. By modeling certain behavior of students, the teacher increases their integration without their awareness of this fact. Unconscious involvement activates involuntary attention, which is the most effective means of assimilating up to 90 % of information. Active methods encourage students to become the main participants in the educational process. And teamwork when performing a task with gamification elements becomes an important factor in the development of emotional contact between all participants. To help the teacher should come modern educational platforms, where the teacher will adjust their material to the level of training and motivation of students.","PeriodicalId":122230,"journal":{"name":"Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130618718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article describes the results of a preliminary study of the experience of preschool teachers in introducing digital technologies into their daily practice of working with children. The purpose of our study was to identify patterns of tasks that teachers solve with the help of ICTs, as well as their attitudes regarding the use of digital technologies in work with preschool children. The study involved 458 preschool educators from public kindergartens in Russia, all of them were women from various regions of the country. The level of professional experience of teachers also varied, from 0.5 to 51 years (M = 13.45, SD = 11.29). The main research tool was the questionnaire from the work of Otterborn et al. (2019), which assesses the patterns of ICT implementation in the practice of preschool education. In particular, the questions related to electronic devices, programs and applications that educators use in working with children, the advantages and disadvantages of using digital technologies in working with children, the experience of successful and unusual tasks that teachers have solved together with children using electronic devices, programs or applications. Among the study participants, different patterns of ICT implementation in the classroom were identified.In addition, respondents note many positive characteristics of such pedagogical practices regarding the presentation of material and group dynamics, as well as additional forms of children's development; at the same time, educators also note risk factors for the physical health and psyche of children when using digital technologies. Thus, as in previous works, a heterogeneous attitude and experience of preschool teachers in the use of ICT in the educational process were revealed.","PeriodicalId":122230,"journal":{"name":"Yaroslavl Pedagogical Bulletin","volume":"88 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121332985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
