With each passing year there is a rapid and growing technological evolution that can be mobilized in the area of aging that can promote better levels of health. This evolution has been shown to be systematic with the emergence of numerous applications and digital platforms that could facilitate the daily routines of citizens. In particular, there is a need to involve older citizens in this new digital context, in order to provide them with better living and health conditions. Currently, digital resources are emerging, namely applications that are available free of charge for use on a digital medium, which aim to respond to the new needs of older people. In this context, an investigation was carried out with 6 participants, who used the MyTherapy application for 2 weeks and it was concluded that it is an asset in helping the elderly to take medication correctly, since it was verified that the itself supports as a reminder, resulting in a timely intake, fulfilling the daily medical prescription","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134311653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To increase user satisfaction, app developers invest a lot of work into gathering and utilizing user input. This paper presents an analysis of the mobile app market through the development of a mobile app. The app provides users with an overview of the most important statistics, including the best apps in each category, the categories with the most apps, and the overall statistics. The data was collected through the analysis of publicly available annual reports, and presented in a user-friendly format through the use of graphics. The focus of the study was to provide a useful tool for developers and individuals seeking specific statistics. Although the approach has proven to be effective, the authors suggest potential, such as incorporating live data from the Google Play Store and analysing the App Store. Additionally, comparing the data from multiple years can provide useful insights into the evolution of the market.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133074899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Also, the adoption of digital solutions and the use of data will support the transition to a climate-neutral, circular, and more resilient economy. In that context, taxation rules are a valuable tool for government intervention with businesses. To encourage the adherence of companies to the mandatory implementation of new invoicing or accounting technologies, the Portuguese State granted a tax incentive to micro and SMEs that adopted these tools before the deadlines set for their entry into force. This paper relies on an exploratory analysis of the Portuguese micro and SMEs companies that took advantage of the tax incentive under study, in the years 2020 and 2021, also framing this tax incentive in the digital transformation process of companies in their local context. The results reveal that only 373 companies took advantage of this tax incentive. Nevertheless, the value of the tax incentive is positively associated with the average net profit value, the average value of operational income, the average value of turnover and the average value of income tax. This is, from the authors’ point of view, an innovative study, as it brings to discussion the theme of a tax policy designed to promote environmental sustainability, associated with the accounting and tax processes of companies, in the context of digital transformation.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129097406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This methodology allows adequate coordination and team collaboration, avoiding conflicts between specialties and data omissions. In the present study, the benefits and limitations identified within the collaboration and integration between structural and architectural professionals, using BIM platforms were analyzed. A structural design case, elaborated within a BIM environment was developed, using the Revit modelling and structural calculation software Robot. The main remarks concerns the fundamental aspects of information sharing, interoperability, and reinforcement detailing. Despite the limitations found, essentially related to the software interoperability, the BIM approach presents significant advantages in structural design.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134260670","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper suggests a framework for future empirical research that considers different generations as a moderator variable between User-Generated Content (UGC) and the image of tourist destinations. This is based on the idea that different generations have different preferences, expectations, and attitudes toward travel, which can influence how they perceive and react to UGC. Overall, this paper contributes to the growing body of literature on the impact of UGC on the tourism industry. By proposing a model that considers generational differences, it highlights the importance of understanding the diverse preferences and attitudes of travelers in shaping the image of tourist destinations.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131923315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, deep learning models demand huge amounts of data. Furthermore, fully supervised learning requires labeled data to solve classification, recognition, and segmentation problems. Data labeling and annotation in the medical domain are time-consuming and labor-intensive. Semi-supervised learning has demonstrated the ability to improve deep learning performance when labeled data is scarce. However, it is still an open and challenging question on how to leverage not only labeled data but also the huge amount of unlabeled data. In this paper, the problem of pancreatic cancer detection on CT scans is addressed by a semi-supervised learning approach based on pseudo-labeling. Preliminary results are promising and show the potential of semi-supervised deep learning to detect pancreatic cancer at an early stage with a limited amount of labeled data.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133499040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research is non-experimental, applied, and comparative. The study used 162 students from a private university in the Arequipa area of Peru as a sample. The methodology that was used had two well-defined phases: first, an exploratory factor analysis was performed, which aimed to condense the information in the original variables into smaller series; second, a confirmatory factor analysis was performed by modelling structural equations based on variances. It is concluded that the intention to use hybrid and online systems, interaction with teachers, and teaching methodology are predictors of satisfaction in university students in post-pandemic times; however, the relationship with students does not positively influence the satisfaction of the educational service. However, there are differences in the detailed analysis of the hybrid and online systems.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"239 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133931661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In fact, it has a big impact in some of the major Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Also, the new concepts introduced with the Industry 4.0 paradigm are being implemented successfully in other domains than manufacturing applications. One example may be found in architecture and construction. This article presents an IoT system aimed at monitoring the Indoors Environment Quality (IEQ) conditions in buildings. Typical technologies used at the Industry 4.0 have been used: Smart Sensors, wireless communications and monitoring and analysis tools. This IoT system was specifically designed to be implemented by engineering students following the Project Based Learning (PBL) methodology as part of the curriculum of an Industrial Informatics course (6 ECTS). Despite being a small scale system, it may be used to (1) monitor the IEQ parameters of one building; (2) learn to manage the tools frequently used in current Industry 4.0 applications; (3) make students aware about the need of doing an adequate use of the resources; and (4) illustrate how to apply the concepts learnt in the classroom to solve real problems.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132606149","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our work seeks to explore how studies apply tools based on Artificial Intelligence in Human Resources ecosystems, specifically for talent retention in innovation ecosystem companies. Initially, searches were performed for primary studies in the selected digital libraries, based on the search string, obtaining a quantitative result of 1492 studies. After reading the titles and abstracts, previously defined inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, selecting the 113 potentially relevant primary studies. These studies were completely read, and the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied again. This Systematic Literature Review obtained 13 relevant primary studies as a quantitative result. As a result of the qualitative analysis, 76.92% of the papers directly or indirectly present the reasons for migrating or retaining employees. We also found that the same percentage of studies (76.92%) offer some model, of which 46.15% of the studies predicting the risk of an employee resigning.","PeriodicalId":121747,"journal":{"name":"2023 18th Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (CISTI)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132793106","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Governments worldwide have used information and communication technologies, including Digital Government, to establish connections with citizens in order to reduce corruption and encourage citizen participation, not only in terms of providing feedback, but also as active contributors to the development of public policies. Consequently, these efforts have led to improvements in internal work procedures within government offices. However, such improvements must be constant and contextually appropriate to be effective.
