Explosive leg power, speed, agility physical fitness components and distance accurate shooting and speed dribbling technical components of Football project players were the main target of the study. They were 25 in number but due to injuries 2 players excluded whereas the remaining all 23 players were selected by using purposive sampling method. The average age of the participants’ was 16±0.756 years. To assess the level of physical and technical components of the player’s field test was used. The data was analyzed through multivariate and simple linear regression statistics method. The finding of the study showed that most of the players had very poor level of power performance, excellent level of speed and agility performance when we compared with the international standard of physical fitness level. On average, accurate shooting increased by 3.241 times significantly when explosive leg power increased by 1 meter, On average, speed dribbling was increased by 6.847 second times significantly when speed increased by one second and On average, speed dribbling was increased by 1.628 second times significantly when agility increased by one second. Therefore skill related physical fitness (explosive leg power, speed and agility) had their own effect on the development of technical ability in football.","PeriodicalId":121427,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Sports","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121038817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conversely, it’s economic, socio-cultural and environmental role is insignificant due to problems mainly related to the lack of infrastructural development and marketing of the destination. In order to make tourism development more sustainable, it is important to look into the problems associated with promoting and marketing of the tourist destinations. Thus, as to achieve the objective of the study a mixed research methodology was implemented. Since the aim of this study was to assess the potentials and Challenges of promoting Bunno Bedelle Zone major tourism destinations site. The research was typically descriptive in nature. In this study, both primary and secondary data was gathered. The data was collected through extensive, questionnaire, interview, focus group discussion, and field observation. The collected data were coded, processed and analyzed with the help of SPSS. The finding of the study demonstrated that the promotional activities of Bunno Bedelle Zone failed to meet their ultimate goal to become an important tourist destination because of limitation in community capacity building in tourism concept, lack of expertise in the area to develop ecotourism and lack of basic infrastructure like absence of adequate transport facilities, communication facilities, health care facilities ,accommodation service, Above all, awareness problems, and lack of cooperation between stakeholders aggravated problems which prevent sustainability. To establish the ecotourism and minimizing the challenges of tourist destinations, there should be broader awareness creation program for the wider communities to develop community sense of ownership for their own resource and further investigations is needed to identify and promote the potential tourism resources of the areas.","PeriodicalId":121427,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Sports","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134357970","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ecotourism has attracted increasing attention in recent years, not only as an alternative to mass tourism, means of economic development and environmental conservation. The present study is identifying the potential ecotourism sites in Dinsho district of Bale Zone, Southeastern Ethiopia using Geographic information system (GIS) and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). This study was assessed the potential suitable areas for ecotourism based on Landscape (land use land cover), Topography (elevation, slope, aspect) and Climate Characteristics (rainfall). These factors were selected based to the literature reviews and the data availability. First, a resource inventory and a list of ecotourism criteria and factors were developed using the AHP method on ArcGIS 10.5. At the next stage GIS techniques were used to measure the ranking of different sites according to the set factors and identify those with the high, moderate, less and not suitable. Later, the ecotourism potential suitability map for ecotourism was created, based on the linear combination of the criteria and factors with their respective weights. The degree of suitability of each factor was classified as highly suitable, moderately suitable, less suitable and not suitable for ecotourism. The result of the study revealed that highly suitable for ecotourism potential area accounts for 24.43% (15873.6 ha), moderately suitable accounts 15.48% (10062.7ha), less potential areas 52.79% (34298.4 ha) and 7.30% (4739.7ha) not suitable in the study area. Therefore, this study shows that the district has high potential of ecotourism which can contribute to the livelihood of the community through sustainable natural resource management. GIS and AHP are essential and effective for ecotourism site suitability selection.","PeriodicalId":121427,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Sports","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130042322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
