Hotels and other tourism businesses are adapting their practices to suit these travelers, providing them with Halal products and programming. This study aims to gauge the degree to which these features can be found in hotels in Jordan, as well as Jordanian businesses’ awareness of Halal tourism. Based on the results of a survey provided to 29 hotels across Jordan, Jordanian hotels share many features of ‘Halal hotels’, though this may be due to Jordan’s large Muslim population. This study was aimed at mapping the spatial distribution of recreational resorts in Calabar. The resorts were identified using the list of resorts from Cross River Tourism Bureau. The use of geographic information systems (GIS) supports this study. Geographic positioning system (G.P.S) was used to geo-locate  the resort locations. The Global Positioning System (GPS) was used to obtain the coordinates and this helped the study to examine the distances between the resorts. This analysis has been conducted using ArcGIS software version 10.3. Data input was carried out in Excel and interpolated into ArcGIS. The analysis was carried out using near neighbor algorithm to determine the distribution of the resorts. Nearest neighbor as a statistical technique attempts to measure the distributions according to whether they are clustered, random or regular. The distribution of the resort in the study area the result of hypothesis obtained using nearest neighbor index is close to zero (0) (Rn= 0.40 < 1.0) and shows evidence of clustering of the various resorts this is largely contributed by cost of land/rent (25%), availability of security (24%) and accessible road network (23%).  The study reveals the concentration of tourism facilities within distinct areas as defined by some influential factors. The central part of the study area has high population density that attracts the location of some basic facilities which also influences the distribution of tourism facilities to their advantage. It is therefore recommended that priority in the development of facilities be given to disadvantaged areas particularly in the high population density areas. Parks and gardens should be located centrally within the city to serve bigger populace. Theme park in China is relatively new. Not until 1989, first attraction development, the Splendid China, was established in Shenzhen (Ap, 2008). However, witnessed the rapid economic development in China in the past decades, Chinese consumers rapidly and significantly raised their leisure expenditure, one of key growth area is to attend theme park (Martin, et al., 2018). The theme park collects recreational entertainment, leisure activities, and seeking excitement  into one entity, often preferred by visitors as one stop vacation-taking place. More important, theme park is often a center for cultural manifestation, responsiveness, and appreciation, and these attributes are often associated with the place where it is built.  The purpose of this manuscript was to understand the cultural and psychological demands for the Disney Shanghai Park in China. A Triangulation method of Critical Analysis, Word Cloud, and Thematic Content Analysis was used. Two data points were analyzed: Hotel Comments and Park Remarks.  The common thread through the Shanghai data was group processes and decisions that relate to the development of the group. Despite its lofty attainments, it cannot be said that the resort has met the standards required for its status. Thus, the problem which this study has been confronted with is making a rigorous attempt to interrogate the debilitating factors which has restrained this resort from advancing to its expected goals and result-oriented profit margin. Primary Data for the study were collected through archival materials, interviews, and participatory observations. Secondary sources utilized include newspapers, internet sources and journals. Given the comparative research methodology which sought to ascertain the achievements of this tourism destination in Nigeria, the study discovered that the resort was highly deprived of adequate financial support since economic development deserves adequate financial investment. The research posited that what is currently invested cannot produce the expected revenue to ginger the very vital economic development of Cross River State of Nigeria.
