Previous studies have generally used input-output DEA models for benchmarking and evaluation of electricity distribution units. However, this study considers an integrated DEA-COLS-PCA approach since the DEA and COLS efficiency scores are combined by a robust multivariate methodology such as PCA The DEA- COLS-PCA model used in this paper provides better ranking than DEA and COLS and provides a mechanism to exact ranking for the units to be considered. In addition, to select the best DEA optimization model for performance assessment of units, indicators importance in PCA model is applied. The approach uses the contract-net protocol plus a service match algorithm. For the implementation, it uses an agent framework that can be easily extended to build different types of distributed service management system. To traditional service management approach or centralized Web service management approach, our model provides a decentralized approach, which depends less on service management server. The aim with the implementation is to investigate if present design patterns are applicable on wireless sensor networks. A 3-tier model is adopted as a possible candidate for the software as well as for the network architecture. The implemented wireless sensor network consists of a heterogeneous set of hardware devices such as sensors, sensor hubs, beepers, PDAs and connectors. Most of the hardware components are COTS and most of the software is GNU licensed. This paper develops a conceptual framework of demand forecasting process to specify and identify the forecast items for forecast generation with a holistic and collaborative approach to ensure information about future customer requirements to be adequate and relevant for directing the approaching planning activities. Firstly, the procedure will postulate a comprehensive range of forecast granularity specifications characterized with the combinations of the forecasting time horizon, product grouping, and geographic dimension parameters. Secondly, the various, individually characterized, demand items will be related to form chains of aggregate and disaggregate proposed forecast items. The communication model used in the system based on EIB protocol is based on the ISO/OSI reference model. The usage of CSMA/CA access mechanism greatly improved the credibility and utilization rate of the bus communication. EIB became dominated in home automation area in Europe because of its excellent performance. In this paper a switch module was developed based on MC68HC05 chip, which successfully communicated with EIB bus. Switch module is significant in scene control. The switch module was tested and communication telegrams were monitored. To ensure the quality of steel products, the parameters for rolling force and the width/thickness control system should be set according to the rolling technology used. However, during actual production, such parameters often deviate from the set points due to various disturbances. It is therefore important to adjust such control system parameters dynamically whenever the system running states changes from normal area. This in turn requires that the system running states be predicted correctly. This paper makes a full analysis of the rolling states by applying data fusion methods based on neural network and database of the distributed data acquisition system. Many AMR (automatic meter reading) methods have been proposed to assist data gathering. A wireless ad-hoc sensor network configuration could be an alternative to reduce the cost of AMR. Some existing sensor network protocols such as LEACH, PEGASIS, and PEDAP could be applied. However, these protocols may not be perfectly suitable for water meters because data fusion is not possible in this particular application. In this paper, we propose a power efficient data gathering algorithm for wireless water meter networks. This algorithm uses a new approach to generate trees in order to distribute loads of root nodes to achieve a longer network lifetime.
