So far the results of the developments were always prototype for research, laboratory or teaching purposes. The robot which is going to be presented now is however a real application in which the reliability, the easy handling, repairing and commissioning and last but non least the good appearance is really important. The mobile robot was completed in 2009 and was successfully used in the Regula Hungary 2009 which is the biggest automation fair in Hungary. In this article the planning, the development and the testing of the system is going to be presented. It will be shown that there is considerable difference between the theory and what really works in practice. In a fair or an exhibition our robot has to move in dynamic environment among people so it is really difficult to find a method for navigation. The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of various applications of CR as well as the security threats faced when applying this technology. The functions, benefits and applications of CR are analyzed, along with the challenges faced by the technology. As the IC industry boomed over the recent decade, large amounts of data process more and more fast in digital system. Because of this, the SOC (system on chip) and CPLD (complex programmable logic device) are popular with designers. However, when mass production is needed, CPLD (complex programmable logic device) based drivers are preferred since the CPLD based design is compatible with conversation to an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit). Previous studies proposed CPLD based drivers but the quality is still limited because of the difficulty of handling complex computations in the CPLD. Nowadays, with the improvement of CPLD techniques, it is possible to perform various computations in the CPLD & FPGA so it can be used instead of the DSP in motor driver design. This paper presents an open loop driver of stepper motor controller based on the CPLD. This driver can perform stable, precise control and is responsive. The graphic-analytical methods used along with the other methods, like Strejc's method, logarithmic method, integration method, present very good results if the PI controllers are replaced with transfer-function-based ones. It is important to mention that good results are achieved with these methods applied in vector control system and that by imposing a set of performance (which is done through various methods specific to automation) excellent results are obtained for any system either complex or simple. The discussed algorithmic enhancements to a standard genetic algorithm certify the survival of essential genetic information by supporting the survival of relevant alleles rather than the survival of above average chromosomes. This is achieved by defining the survival probability of a new child chromosome depending on the child's fitness in comparison to the fitness values of its own parents. The described kind of analysis assumes the knowledge of the unique global optimal solution and is therefore restricted to rather theoretical considerations The main aim of this paper is to explain the most important properties of the discussed algorithm variants in a rather intuitive way. One especially interesting research topic related to cognitive communication channels deals with a special application called sensory substitution, when information is conveyed through a channel other than the one that is normally used for the given application. Our goal is to develop engineering systems for the remote teleoperation of robots using sensory substitution to convey feedback information in meaningful ways. Such applications could help reduce the cognitive load for the user on the one hand, and help alleviate the effect of control instabilities and network delays on the other. A large part of our research deals with how to provide information on physical parameters - otherwise inaccessible to the remote user - through sound. In this paper, we first propose a model that describes the kinds of pairings between physical and auditory parameters we find meaningful. The paper is devoted to application of these methods for electroencephalogram (EEG) signal processing including signal de-noising, evaluation of its principal components and segmentation based upon feature detection both by the discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and discrete Fourier transform (DFT). The self-organizing neural networks are then used for pattern vectors classification using a specific statistical criterion proposed to evaluate distances of individual feature vector values from corresponding cluster centers. Results achieved are compared for different data sets and selected mathematical methods to detect and to classify signal segments features. The two most common variations of this disease are Alzheimer type dementia and Vascular type dementia, although there are other forms known as mixed dementia. All of these forms can be associated with different patterns of anatomical affectation, different risk factors, multiple diagnostic characteristics and multiple profiles of neuropsychological tests, making the differential diagnosis of dementias (DDD) very complex. In this paper we propose new diagnostic tools based on a data fusion scheme using artificial neural networks and ensemble systems, which offer important advantages referring to other computational solutions. We have designed two HUMANN-S based systems, with capacity of processing missing data. We explore their ability for DDD using a battery of cognitive and functional/instrumental neuropsychological tests. We carried out a comparative study between these systems and an clinical expert, reaching these systems a higher level of performance than the expert. Realization of mathematic models has become a fundamental part of design of many complex systems. By use of simulation, we can experiment with mathematical model similarly as with the real object without the risk of critical states and with much lower expenses. Modeling represents experimental process that asserts to the examined original, the real object (or the modeled system) unambiguously another physical or abstract system. The article deals with approach to virtual modeling of a compressor in a small turbojet engine. We study a certain class of strict monotone operators which build DeMorgan class with infinite negations. We show that the necessary and sufficient condition for this operator class is fc(x)fd(x) = 1; where fc(x) and fd(x) are the generator function of the conjunctive and disjunctive operators. In the second part of the article we examine the relationship between Dombi's aggregative operators, uninorms and strict, continuous t-norms and t-conorms. We show that the class of representable uninorms is equivalent to the class of those uninorms which are also aggregative operators. We give new representation theorems for strong negations, and discuss the correspondence between strong negations, aggregative operators and strict, continuous (logical) operators.
