Thus, it is necessary to evaluate the toxicity of this plant’s extract to prevent any unwanted side effects. This study aimed to determine the acute oral toxicity level of water extract of P. minima leaves on female Sprague Dawley rats at a dosage of 2000 mg/kg for a period of 14 days using the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) Guideline 423. The findings showed no mortality and no change in behavioural pattern. Besides, the body weight of rats increased throughout the study. The rats’ internal organs showed a normal histopathological architecture compared to the control group. Patients with back pain are often dissatisfied with standard medical care, especially in comparison to care provided by alternative providers. Objective: This clinical trial needs to know the effect of regimental therapy like message with Roghan-e-ferfune with the combination of oral Unani drug Habb-e-Suranjan in the management of back pain. Method: The patients for present study were selected from the Ilaj bit tadabeer section of As-Salam Hospital. Total 36 patients were selected for the study. The patients were randomly divided into three groups. One group was given analgesic and muscle relaxant, second group Habb-e-Suranjan and third group Habb-eSuranjan and message with Roghan-e-Ferfune. Result & Discussion: After one week of treatment it was observed that the group treated with analgesic/muscle relaxant and group treated with Habb-e-Suranjan and Roghan-e-Ferfune has equal recovery rate. In second group only 25% favorable results. It deals with the management of various poisons. For the management of poisons various recipes have been mentioned, among them Ghrita kalpa is one dosage form. Ghrita (Ghee) plays an important role in the management of visha (poison). Once the visha (poison) enters into the hrudaya (heart) it destroys the life of the person. Ghrita (Ghee) protects the heart from the effect of visha (poison) by doing avarana (a protective layer) of it. Hridayavarana is explained in the treatise of AyurvedaCharaka samhita. Kalyanaka Ghrita is a formulation that has a combination of many herbs been out of which nine drugs are sheeta veerya and nineteen drugs are Ushna (hot) veerya in nature. Many drugs have proved to have antimicrobial, antivenom, antioxidant, antimicrobial, etc. properties. Diabetes being the most known disease of this era and India is the diabetic capital of the world. Despite availability of various advanced form of management incidence of diabetes is still increasing day by day. One of its most serious complications is diabetic foot which results in well-known non-healing ulcer. Studies have shown the fact that the conventional management of the diabetes does not have a justifiable answer to decrease its burden from society. Therefore, researchers are looking for an alternative approach to tackle and cease the ever-increasing load of diabetes. Unani System of Medicine (USM) is one of the oldest and time proven methods to manage this kind of situation. It has entirely different and comprehensible concept of diabetes. According to the basic philosophy of USM the diabetes mellitus is the result of disturbance in quantity as well as quality of Akhlat (Humors) and Mizaj(Temperament) which leads to decrease in Hararat-e-Gariziya . This concept clearly describes diabetes, its pathogenesis, complications and holistic approach towards its management. Non-healing ulcer, in conventional medicine, is entirely manageable in USM. Different explants were tried, and best results were obtained by axillary shoot proliferation in cotyledonary nodal segments. The explant type, medium composition, various carbon sources, plant growth regulators markedly influenced in vitro propagation of Eclipta alba. An in vitro plantlet production system has been investigated on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium. Callus profuse growth was obtained on MS medium augmented with 2,4-D (1.0 mg/l) and BAP (0.5 mg/l). This combination was selected to maintain the callus. BAP (1.0 mg/l) and NAA (0.1 mg/l) showed maximum shooting (16-20). Rooting was highest on full strength. Micropropagated plants were transferred to a mixture of garden soil, farmyard soil, and sand (2∶1∶1).
