Self esteem yang baik sangat diperlukan bagi semua individu termasuk narapidana remaja. Self esteem yang tinggi akan memicu semangat untuk berubah menjadi lebih baik lagi terutama saat narapidana menjalani hukuman, dan siap untuk menghadapi kehidupan sosial setelah kembali ke dalam masyarakat nantinya. Artikel ini membahas mengenai peran bimbingan dan konseling dalam membantu meningkatkan self esteem yaitu mealui layanan konseling individual sebagai intervensi psikologis untuk menciptakan perubahan perilaku menuju kehidupan sehari-hari yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan berupa studi literatur dari berbagai referensi. One of the psychological changes that occur during adolescence is socio-emotional change, where adolescents have quite high emotional tension, such as the occurrence of several incidents of disputes, fights between students which indicates a lack of ability to regulate and control the negative emotions that exist in them. This study was intended to describe the ability to regulate the negative emotions of male students at MTS Siulak Gedang. Quantitative research with a descriptive quantitative approach was chosen in this study and questionnaires were used to obtain information from respondents. Mindfulness can be an effective tool in helping counselors overcome these challenges and helping individuals strengthen their ability to cope with stress and emotional imbalances. This research is conducted by researching and evaluating various reference materials and relevant literature to develop a coherent and logical synthesis that can be verified. {"title":"Pendidikan Seks Bagi Siswa di Masa Pandemi : Apa yang dilakukan Guru Bimbingan Konseling di Sekolah Menengah?","authors":"Ruri Anita Lessy, Amirah Diniaty","doi":"10.32939/ijcd.v4i2.1748","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32939/ijcd.v4i2.1748","url":null,"abstract":"This research aimed at knowing, 1) the role of guidance and counseling teachers in providing sex education to students during the pandemic, 2) supporting and obstructing factors the successful implementing counseling services regarding to sex education at State Senior High School in Pekanbaru.  It was a descriptive qualitative.  The main informants of this research were 4 guidance and counseling teachers and 10 students.  The object of this research was the role of guidance and counseling teachers in providing sex education to students during the pandemic period.  Interview and documentation techniques were used for collecting the data.  Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings of this research showed that guidance and counseling teachers experience obstacles in providing sex education, this is due time constrains. Self-regulated learning is a capability that can be an asset in the success of the independent learning curriculum and also in facing the era of society 5.0 which is centered on technology. where in the era of society 5.0 the learning process can occur anywhere and anytime. Therefore, educators are required to be able to provide effective learning methods that can increase learner self-regulation. This study uses literature studies to examine learning methods that can enhance self-regulated learning. Untuk menguji perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap prilaku Cyberbullying sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan informasi teknik modeling simbolik  di SMP Negeri 4 Kerinci. \u0000Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen ini yaitu memberikan perlakuan berupa layanan informasi untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa untuk mencegah Perilaku Cyberbullying Melalui Layanan Informasi Teknik Modeling Simbolik di SMP Negeri 4 Kerinci. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Sampel siswa Kelas VIII dengan jumlah dibatasi sampai 47 orang. Intsrumen menggunakan skala, analisis menggunakan uji istilah Paired sample T-test. \u0000Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap perilaku Cyberbullying sebelum diberikan layanan Informasi Teknik Modeling Simbolik pada kategori sangat rendah. pemahaman siswa terhadap Perilaku Cyberbullying setelah diberikan layanan Informasi Teknik Modeling Simbolik pada kategori sangat tinggi.
