Although society in general especially students are no longer illiterate, reading interest and reading literacy skills in Indonesia, based on PISA, OCED, and UNESCO, are still relatively low in terms of multi text study. For this reason, multi text-based learning is needed for improving the students’ literacy. Purpose: This study aims to describe how multi-text learning is taught to students to increase their interest in reading and literacy. Method: This research uses a qualitative research with literature study method. Data sources of this research are reference books and scientific journal articles that have relevance to the research. Results: Multi-literacy learning or also known as multiliteracy is one of the learning designs used in the context of 2013 curriculum. This concept is designed to meet the skills needed in the 21st century. Multiliteracy learning is created to connect 4 multiliteracy skills (reading, writing, spoken language, and, using IT). The stages of multi-text literacy learning cycle are as follows: 1) involving: 2) responding; 3) elaborating; 4) reviewing; 5) presenting. Conclusion: Multitext learning is still barely taught to students in Indonesia. Only 30% of students have multitext reading knowledge and skills. In fact, multitext learning can be used as an alternative solution to increase reading ability and interest. Multi-text learning needs to be supported by teacher's skills namely creating interesting and adequate multitext materials and ensuring decent reading sources according to its age of reader, as well as for parents, they have to be able to advise their children to choose multitext as the reading sources. Purpose: Therefore, this research aims to describe and map the information on digital libraries during the pandemic on international publications Scopus indexed. Method: The bibliometric assessment method was used to collect data from 66 publications on the Scopus database. The writer simultaneously used search keywords such as “Digital Library,” “Electronic Library,” and “Covid-19” to determine the publications from January 2020-June 2021. Results: The result showed that 23 (34.8%) out of 66 publications had high relevance to digital libraries during the pandemic, while 74% are scientific journal articles. The country with the largest contribution is the USA, while the largest publisher with only 35% open publications is Emerald. Meanwhile, the central topics in this research map include “Pandemic”, “Covid”, “Library”, and “Services”. Conclusion: The distribution of publications as a form of academic communication has not intertwined, as indicated by the absence of linkage between each author, thereby creating a high potential for studies and publications related to this topic. In addition to increasing the digital literacy of librarians and users, the transformation to high-tech virtual and digital services also stands as an adaptation effort. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Keywords: Bibliometric Analysis; Covid-19; Digital Libraries; Electronic Libraries; Pandemic Era \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Abstrak \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Permasalahan: Perpustakaan digital pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini semakin diminati oleh pengguna dan semakin menarik untuk dikaji oleh cendekiawan. However, studies on how and where the society, access, and the use of relevant information that empower them to contribute positively in these sectors are inadequately reported in scholarly literatures. Purpose: This study in particular reports the role of libraries in community empowerment and the challenges faced by libraries in the dissemination of information for community empowerment. Method: This study is a scoping and a literature review of the role of libraries in community empowerment. The study adopted Arksey and O’ Malley framework. Google scholar, JSTOR, Ebscohost, Emerald insight, fullfreepdf, Eric, Research4life databases, and Taylor & Francis were used as the main sources of information. Results: The result revealed that libraries provide free internet access and information resources. Libraries also act as information acquisition centre, community empowerment programs as well as a centre for building capacity, and learning support. The study also revealed that job dissatisfaction among library staff, inadequate facilities, lack of commitment, lack of teamwork and poor relationships among staff, insufficient knowledge and skills among library staff are some of the challenges libraries have to face as an effective provision of information services. Meanwhile, database subscriptions is one of the library accreditation assessment points that create prestige for universities. Purpose: This study aims to determine the ineffectiveness of e-Journal subscriptions in the IPDN Library. Method: Method: Data were collected by interviewing 13 respondents out of a survey of 90 with the Convergent Parallel Mixed Method. The obtained data were further analyzed using a technique adapted from Sin and Kim's research, which is based on the factors influencing a person's desire to use electronic journal database facilities. This technique analyzed the readiness of human resources, infrastructure, budget, and legal protection. Result: The result showed that the librarian's human resource's support is in the very good category. Furthermore, users possess very good computer and software skills, good motivation and electronic search skills, and moderate foreign language skills. However, university libraries still lack infrastructure support due to insufficient search equipment, inadequate internet network, and limited content. Although budget support is included in the lacking category, institutional support related to the legal protection is sufficient, while sharing and using e-resources are carried out with the National Library. In addition, due to the numerous academic institutions in Asia, sharing and use of e-resources have become difficult, with poor collaborations among universities within the country. Conclusion: The causes of ineffective e-journal subscriptions are budget constraints, limited supporting devices, poor internet network, limited content, as well as lack of e-resource collaboration and sharing with other university libraries. \u0000Keywords: E-Journal Subscription; e-Resources; Library Services; Academic Library, IPDN Library \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Abstrak \u0000Permasalahan: Tingginya biaya langganan e-journal menyebabkan tidak semua perguruan tinggi mampu memiliki banyak database disiplin ilmu, bahkan banyak yang tidak mampu memiliki satu pun.
