Standing on the point of attacker, this work investigates the optimal channel jamming attack against wireless state estimation in CPS with energy constraint. Specifically, we consider that the attacker can jam the wireless channel with various power levels that will cause different sensory packet drop probabilities. We formulate the optimal attacker power allocation problem as to maximize the estimation error covariance under the attacker's power constraint. We theoretically derive the optimal power allocation for the attacker, which is shown resembling a parabola shape along time. Finally, we demonstrate the performance of the proposal allocation scheme through simulations.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116225820","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Once a fault is detected in industrial processes, recognizing fault variables becomes the crucial task subsequently. Recently, the method of fault variables recognition using k nearest neighbor reconstruction (FVR-kNN) has been reported. However, the way of variables estimation in FVR-kNN is not accurate when multiple variables were affected by the fault. To overcome this problem, an improved FVR-kNN method is presented in this paper. The proposed method improves the estimation step of FVR-kNN when predicting multiple variables. It can guarantee that the estimations of these potential fault variables have no mutual influence. Therefore, the proposed method can give more accurate reconstruction samples which will increase the reliability of fault variables recognition. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116247355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DC microgrid including constant power load, distributed generations employed droop control, and resistive load is investigated. The constant power load can reduce system stability margin, and even cause bus voltage oscillating. The droop control can share the current among different distributed generations, but it can result in the bus voltage deviating from the nominal stable operating point and even destroys the stable operation. Take into account above factors, the model of DC microgrid is established and its stability analysis is researched by using the method of Lyapunov and the corresponding constraints of stable operation are obtained. The stable region of the system with different parameters is explored. Finally, the MATLAB/Simulink simulation model of the DC microgrid is established and the simulation results verify the effectiveness and correctness of the analysis method.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116253645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The automatic train operation(ATO) system operates trains between successive stations by controlling the speed automatically, which is very important for the train energy saving operation. The traditional ATO recommended speed curve optimization research is based on line information, train information and control objectives to generate the optimal recommended speed curve, which does not take the influence ATO tracking control strategy taken on the practical driving strategy into account. In this paper, the recommended speed curve optimization and ATO tracking control strategy are considered together. On the basis of using the dynamic programming to optimize the recommended speed curve of the train, a method based on the existing ATO tracking control strategy for the recommended speed curve optimization is given. The method can effectively reduce the energy consumption under the condition that the running time is acceptable.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"72 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116294015","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Conventional flow cytometry for the differentiation of these two types of cells is performed by measuring both the forward scattering (FSC) and side scattering (SSC). Our label-free static cytometer obtains the SSC patterns of single cells. By applying machine learning algorithm to the SSC patterns, a high accuracy rate for the classification of normal granulocytes and HL-60 cells is obtained. This may provide an automatic, label-free technique for leukemia analysis.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121586214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the increasing penetration of DERs in distribution network, more and more users change from power consumers to prosumers which have great influences on distribution network as well as generate new business models on the demand side. Based on the emerging change of the power system, this paper proposes a transactive energy scheme (TES) based on multi-factor evaluation and contract net protocol to determine energy trading strategies among prosumers to realize economic and stable operation of distribution network. In the proposed TES, a TE market is built in the deregulatory retail power market. Power consumers, smart homes, industrial parks, or virtual power plants with DERs take the initiative as transactive nodes (TNs), and the peer to peer transactions among TNs in TE market can be carried out based on the multi-factor evaluation and contract protocol. When a TN cannot meet its own electricity demand, it launches the contract net to other TNs, requests to carry on the electric energy transaction, and determines the selected TNs according to the multi-factor evaluation. The simulation results show compared with the traditional electricity business model, the market participants who use the proposed TES can gain more economic benefits as well as protecting their own privacy.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121671532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we provided a new data compression approach and validated it on a method based on neural network (NN) to detect both failures' types and degree in drive system. In time-/frequency domain several statistical features were extracted from signals acquired during the simulation with injection of faults. A brief method was introduced to preprocess training data with a comparison to the standard deviation-based method, via analyzing the linear relationship between features and patterns to be classified. In addition, the diagnostic NN's configuration was optimized by the design of experiment. Results indicate the proposed method for data preprocess can significantly improve the efficiency and precision in categorizing all the faults sample especially for fault degree considered in this study.","PeriodicalId":116872,"journal":{"name":"2017 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC)","volume":"03 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124471510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
