Outdoor activities have been closed; therefore, there are limitations to activities that can be done. A solution to staying healthy during the pandemic is indoor exercise. One type of indoor exercise is regularly riding stationary bikes. We maintain the body’s fitness and burn calories by riding stationary bikes. However, some stationary bikes could not show accurate calories burned; they calculated it only based on speed, resistance, and duration, so people with different weights seem to burn the same amount of calories. Therefore, this paper proposed an additional parameter essential in calorie burning: body weight. We used the human body pose estimator to detect the activity of riding the stationary bike and calculated it by adding the person’s weight. The result shows a difference between the estimated calorie burned and the data directly from the stationary bike. The difference is between 0.0225 to 2.8775. The heavier the person, the more differences in the calories burned. The proposed method helped prove that a person’s weight affects the calories burned while doing an activity, especially riding a stationary bike.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121148724","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to select the features in medical records with the influential features on hepatocellular carcinoma. In this paper, the proposed model is the use of ReliefF at the feature selection stage and Backpropagation at the classification stage. At this feature selection stage, there are two steps, namely weight calculation and feature reduction process. In the feature weight calculation step, each feature is given a weight and the resulting features will be processed in the feature reduction process. The results of the feature weight calculation will produce a ranking from the highest value to the lowest value which will then be reduced by the feature ranking. The best features that have been produced will be used as input for the second stage, namely the classification stage using Backpropagation. The results showed that the 10 features used were the best features out of 39 features. The best accuracy is produced by the ReliefF+BPNN method of 85%. The comparison results show that the ReliefF feature selection method has the best success rate among all. The results of this study indicate that the proposed method is successful.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124368026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It attempts to find out why learners feel it is important to undergo MOOCs and the factors which drive them particularly to select MOOCs. It is an empirical study using a structured questionnaire to collect data from university students undergoing post-graduation degrees. The instrument was designed after a thorough literature review that was presented to industry professionals in the field of education and technology to establish its validity and was pilot tested for its reliability before being used for this study. The result from the demographic analysis of the data and a PCA (principal component analysis) revealed that factors like Learning and Upgradation, Pedagogy and Delivery Mechanism, Ease of Assessment, and Academic Credits and Certificates influence learners toward selecting a particular MOOC. In the domain of online learning, especially with reference to MOOCs in Business Education courses, the area has been found to be under-researched and, in this way, this study holds its distinctiveness. This study contributes uniquely to the research related to IT-enabled learning programs like MOOCs by identifying novel factors contributing to the growing acceptability of Education.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121272049","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The existence of a subarray at transmit (Tx) and receiver (Rx) that work simultaneously is capable of providing high processing gain and waveform diversity but has problems with target detection, especially those caused by jamming, interference, and clutter. To overcome the detection performance due to these problems, this paper proposes a combination of the flexible configuration of this radar with the space-time adaptive processing (STAP) method which involves multi-pulse transmission. Detection performance is determined based on probability of detection (PoD) as a function of SNR which considers the number of Tx-Rx subarrays, the number of transmission pulses, and the probability of false alarm. The effectiveness of the evaluation results for numerical simulations between the detection performance of this radar with and without STAP has been presented in this paper. As an example a numerical evaluation of the SNR is +5dB, the PoD values without and with the STAP method for radar configurations with number of Tx-subarrays $left(N_{mathrm{TS})}right.$ and number of Rx-subarrays $left(N_{mathrm{RS}}right)$ namely (4,8) are obtained 99.09% and 99.77%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122733738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experiments done in this study are prospective to detect small amount of glucose found in human’s sweat. Electrical property of the sensor is measured by arranging the sensor with a resistor in series, and then sampling the current that passes through the resistor. As they are connected in series, the current that passes through resistor is equal to the current that passes through the sensor. Various frequencies were used for current measurement, ranging from 1 kHz to 5 MHz. Recommended frequencies to use for the sensor measurement and analysis are ranging from 100 to 500 kHz, considering sensitivity of the sensor being favorable in those frequencies.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116017433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A successful robotic manipulation not only determined by the robot actuator, it is also strongly affected by the robot perception in capturing the world and the workpieces. Robotics has made extensive use of camera-based visual perception, especially robotic manipulation. This perception will enable the robot to perform object(workpieces) detection and localization and generate suitable control policy to move the robot via a series of robot poses. This paper proposed an assistive robot manipulator pose prediction based on object orientation using CNN. The manipulator pose prediction will enable further action for a successful robotic manipulation by providing a relative pose between the object and manipulator. Experiment result shown that the presented method was able to predict the robot pose, especially on the fifth joint of the robot accurately based on the object orientation images.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"30 49","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131500026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A device that utilizes Functional Electrical Stimulation combined with a single computer to store rehabilitation data locally has been designed to rehabilitate the wrist region due to monoplegia. Developing a telemonitoring system for a portable FES-based wrist joint movement rehabilitation device is suggested, where rehabilitative information, such as the wrist’s torque and degree of movement in response to the FES stimulus, may be kept in a structured database and shown through a web application. The study’s findings can be utilized to establish a telemonitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system architecture includes a database that houses data on simulated wrist movement therapy, with data queries typically taking 0.0043 seconds for every 500 rows of data. Additionally, the generated graphs from the simulated rehabilitation data mirror those from the actual device obtained from real subjects. Developing a web-based application to exhibit rehabilitation data that one or more operators may access from any location at any time is also achievable. As for development in future studies, trial on actual wrist rehabilitation devices and database optimization is necessary for the proposed telemonitoring system design.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128286744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The robot can interpret human poses and autonomously perform collaborative action using various sensors such as cameras and lidars as input devices and use the pose data to interact like giving and receiving objects from humans. There are multiple models for detecting human poses such as Openpose and Mediapipe, but only a few models can detect poses in three dimensions for cases where multiple humans are detected. In this study, we aimed to develop a sstacked model for detecting three-dimensional human poses for cases where multiple humans are detected by combining the EELAN and Blazepose models as our first step in enabling human-robot interactions like giving and taking objects. In the static image tests, our model successfully detected multiple humans and estimated their three-dimensional models separately.
