This technique is needed by the robot to pick up objects that are placed somewhere. In general, this technique is developed with visual input from a camera. The challenge that is usually faced in this technique is the lighting conditions that are not fixed, where the stability of the estimation results in this environment is highly expected. In this study, we first use an RGB-D-NIR camera to provide color (RGB), depth (D), and near-infrared (NIR) inputs which are expected to complement each other. Second, by utilizing data from the camera, we combine it with Guided Filtering Fusion and Deep learning methods. As a preliminary result of the study, we conducted experiments in normal and dark lightning conditions on household objects, with various input combinations; and obtained quite accurate results in dark conditions.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115137887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Abnormal cell development causes the growth of lesions in the human brain. In visualizing the emergence of a brain tumor, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a relatively good method as it has no radiation compared to other methods. Artificial intelligence is expected to accelerate radiologists in detecting a tumor’s emergence. This study proposes an automatic classification using a deep learning architecture with eight EfficientNet models (BO-B7) variations to classify MRI results into a normal brain or brain with a tumor. The models perform well, in which EfficientNet-B7 achieves the highest training accuracy of 99.71% and validation accuracy of 99.67%. Compared to conventional CNN, EfficientNet is superior in the performance and the computation time. From the experimental results, the level of accuracy of conventional CNN is less than EfficienNet. This indicates that the architectural modifications presented in the EfficientNet model, by combining the layer numbers, image resolution and the channels can improve the conventional CNN in classifying the MRI results.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127494447","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a new approach for using an adaptive modified firefly algorithm (AMFA) to coordinate overcurrent relay protection in a power system. The suggested approach has been put into practice in a real industrial petrochemical radial distribution network. This article aims to reduce the overall operational time of the main and backup relays within the system by comparing 3 types of IEC time-current characteristic curves. The result demonstrates that the AMFA is considerably achieving optimized coordination with the minimum overall operating time. Both MATLAB and ETAP software have successfully integrated and used the AMFA.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126642181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper explores the use of Superconducting Fault Current Limiters (SFCL) and Super Capacitor Energy Storage (SCES) to improve system stability and increase CCT values. The critical trajectory method is employed to calculate CCT values, and the Time Domain Simulation (TDS) method is used for comparison. The IEEE 3machine 9-bus system is used as a case study. This method offers improved computational accuracy and speed compared to other approaches. The simulation results demonstrate that the enhancement of CCT values through the utilization of SFCL and SCES is influenced by factors such as the placement location, size of the devices, and the specific fault points within the system. The simulation results show that the combination of SFCL and SCES can increase CCT values, indicating improved system stability. The optimal configuration is determined to be SFCL installed on lines 1-4 and SCES installed on the critical generator bus. The average increase in CCT values is 6.31% for this configuration. This application allows for an extended duration during which the protection system can isolate the fault. Finally, it can preserve system stability after fault periods and upgrade the relative system transient stability level. The proposed combination utilization strategy is simulated and modified using Matlab R2022a.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116162482","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research about electric wheelchair with navigation using myoelectric signals from Carpi Radialis muscles with Subject Intention Speed Control has been developed by Elvina, et al in 2020. Therefore, this research focused on evaluating the Subject Intention Speed Control performance of the wheelchair on 5 subjects with Cerebral Palsy. The observation and myoelectric signal intercept were done at the Carpi Radialis muscle while the subjects were doing flexion and extension. Then, the evaluation was carried out on the performance of the adaptive threshold system, signal classification performance for wheelchair movement, and the interaction of disabled users with the system. The subjects were asked to do a series of scenarios that aimed to move the wheelchair. The result showed that the success of wheelchair motion classification for the subject with mild Cerebral Palsy reached 92%. On the other hand, the suitability of the subject’s hand motion with the requested control command reached 90%. Nevertheless, further customization of the wheelchair system must be done, so that the needs of disabled users can be accommodated. The data and conclusions could be used for further development of electric wheelchairs for patients with disabilities.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124543087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This attack can target anyone, from individuals, organizations, and even government institutions. To avoid damage caused by malware inserted into a malicious USB drive, specific devices are needed, including software and hardware, to detect the USB drive before connecting it to the user's device. This study aims to build a portable malware detection device. Fulfillment of conformity criteria is carried out by conducting unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and system testing. The GUI-based application is implemented on the Raspberry Pi 4 by utilizing the Clam antivirus (ClamAV) signature database to detect malware on the sample USB drive. This malware scanner comprises 5 classes with 31 functions and is displayed on 5 interfaces. Malware samples used consisted of the Win.Packed.Generic-9795615-0, Win.Virus.Virlock-6804475-0, and Win.Worm.Chir-2282 viruses. There are six samples of USB drives with different storage sizes and brands for testing. The results of the tests showing the results as expected at 99.8%. We obtained speeds ranging from 0.842 MB/s to 0.883 MB/s during 60 times scanning experiments on six samples of USB drives. The tests show that malware and the different USB drive types do not affect the resulting scan speed.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"367 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124604310","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Residential charging stations systems that use renewable energy such as PV have become an important concern in an effort to build green energy. Unfortunately, intermittent PV is an unavoidable problem. The EV charging demand characteristics of residential charging stations can be utilized to work together with the generator side to achieve a power balance which suitable for the smart grid concept. Our contribution is to propose a novel charging scheduling based on intermittent PV. The charging schedule is used to reduce peak loads during intermittent PV events. The charging scheduling scenario is run using the genetic algorithm with Google Colab to find out that the charging schedule has succeeded in maintaining power balance in the residential charging station systems. The innovative formula of fitness calculation used in the genetic algorithm is a way to get optimal charging scheduling according to PV capabilities. The simulation results confirm that the peak load can be decreased by 30% according to the intermittent PV value in all case modes.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124750520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, a better version of PSO called the modified particle swarm optimization algorithm (MPSO) is proposed in this paper to determine the optimum OCR setting for application in an actual industrial power system called PT. Determining whether Muscovy ducks are productive (raised to lay eggs and sell the eggs) or unproductive (raised/fattened to sell the meat) is one of the actions that can be taken to increase production. However, monitoring that only focuses on egg-laying behavior and is still done manually by humans is still prone to errors. An automated monitoring system is needed to improve monitoring. In this research, building a Deep Learning model using the Faster RCNN algorithm MobileNetV3 architecture to monitor poultry reproductive behavior. The identified behaviors are mating, non-mating, and egg-laying/swarming behaviors. Reproductive behavior can be used as a reference to determine whether a bird is productive or not. A model was built and tested on traditional cages. The addition of pre-processing techniques to improve image quality was performed. The results obtained were 86% mating behavior, 80% non-mating behavior, and 94% egg-laying. There was a difference in accuracy before using preprocessing techniques, which was 82% mating behavior, 74% non-mating behavior, and 88% egg laying. Adding Preprocessing methods (Image enhancement, ROI, and Blurring) can improve the performance of the Faster R-CNN algorithm to detect objects but impacts blurry image quality. The addition of deblurring techniques after the Faster R-CNN algorithm detection process can be used to restore image quality without affecting accuracy.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"179 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123511474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the DNNs traditionally used in speech recognition development is TDNN which has undergone several modifications, such as Factorized TDNN or TDNN-F. In this paper, we will compare the performance of standard TDNN with TDNN-F for developing Indonesian speech recognition. Our experiment used the KDW-BPPT-50K-ASR1 speech corpus developed by BPPT in 2013. We aim to identify which architecture suits Indonesian speech recognition applications better. Using the nnet3 recipe with the chain model in Kaldi, various variations of the TDNN architecture were tested to create an Indonesian speech recognition acoustic model. Furthermore, the acoustic model is compared with the acoustic model produced by TDNN-F. The experimental results show that TDNN-F performs very well compared to vanilla TDNN. The outcomes also indicate that alterations in the vanilla TDNN’s architecture, such as the number of layers and configurations in each layer, do not result in a substantial performance improvement.","PeriodicalId":116682,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Seminar on Intelligent Technology and Its Applications (ISITIA)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126455133","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
