However, the set of various kinds of audio data, contains a vast multitude of different sounds. Human brain can identify sounds such as two vehicles crashing against each other, someone crying or a bomb explosion. When we hear such sounds, we can identify the source of the sound and the event that caused them. We can build artificial systems which can detect acoustic events just like humans. Acoustic event detection (AED) is a technology which is used to detect acoustic events. Not only can we detect the acoustic event but also, determine the time duration and the exact time of occurrence of any event. This paper aims to make use of convolutional neural networks in classifying environmental sounds which are linked to certain acoustic events. Classification and detection of acoustic events has numerous real-world applications such as anomaly detection in industrial instruments and machinery, smart home systems, security applications, tagging audio data and in creating systems to aid the hearing-impaired individuals. While environmental sounds can encompass a large variety of sounds, we will focus specifically on certain urban sounds in our study and make use of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) which have traditionally been used to classify image data, for our analysis on audio data. This approach currently is deeply investigated and increasingly widely applied. Roughly said, the gaming approach boils down to “make the hard stuff fun”. In contrast, when we talk about education of experienced students closely related to computer science and computer engineering, developer’s point of view could be regarded as more productive. Developer’s point of view (DPV) learning approach could be briefly described as “the very solution to the problem is a game”. Such constructive model of training has its roots in the constructivist philosophy. Constructivism postulates that learning arises from building mental models based on experience. Constructivism implies to engage the students in problem solving of challenging scientific questions. Several such questions in computer engineering and computer science are formulated, according to the US National Research Council. As a sample of the DPV learning approach is selected one of them the Passive RAM Problem. Its solution has four main stages: (Stage 1) a refined definition of the stated problem; (Stage 2) conceptual idea for solving the problem; (Stage 3) transforming the conceptual idea into concrete algorithm; (Stage 4) coding under appropriate framework. It is stated that the solution to the problem consists in abandoning a parallel organization and moving to a sequential one, which requires the introduction of a certain order of service, as well as equipment for its implementation. A new solution is presented, implementing an order of asynchronous arbitration based on the understanding of the competition of service requests over time. Based on this line, a system for synthesis of a multi-input asynchronous arbiter with parallel joining of input events is presented. The form of parallelism known as superscalarity is specifically considered. The study showed that arbitrage in the context of a superscalar resource is a new and unexplored task. It describes a project, whose main aim is to virtually restore partly destroyed archaeological object by first building a 3D model of the original artefact and then rendering it on top of the real object in real world. It also proposes that when the user viewpoint does not change much in space, then cheaper hologram projecting technologies, like 3Dholonet or musion3D, originally designed for public performances, can be used for mixed reality visualization. A pilot project is being implemented, whose main idea is to build a virtual 3D model and project it as a hologram on top of the real object using two different technologies. The two resulting scenes will be evaluated by a group of pilot users, who will be asked to share their virtual experience and compare and rank the two approaches. Analysis of time drift occurrence is important especially for a dataset creation process of other works in this area. In this paper, we performed experiments using the Google Code Jam dataset to show the influence of time drift in the area of source code authorship attribution. Our experiments revealed that there is significant time drift in stylometric features in one year difference, which is enlargening as the difference of time increases. Another interesting result is that when training our authorship attribution method on data from the future and testing on data from the past, the time drift is lower than in opposite direction. Wavelet transform based fusion method are implemented using different wavelets.
