According to reports, numerous organizations in Malaysia have encountered a decline in their business performance due to the ongoing pandemic. The restoration of the company's performance is significantly dependent on its human resources. The performance of employees is a critical factor that determines the success or failure of an organization. Given the unfavourable circumstances, it is imperative to recognize the issues that may impact employee performance during crisis recovery. Therefore, individuals who exhibit a high level of commitment towards an organization are more inclined to exert more significant effort and dedication compared to their less devoted counterparts. Hence, this research investigates the correlation between the independent variables, specifically management support, remuneration and benefits, colleague support, and job security, and the dependent variable of employee work performance. This research employs Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory to elucidate the correlation between the independent and dependent variables. The present study employs a quantitative methodology, utilizing an online questionnaire as the significant data collection instrument. 86 responses were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 27. The study results indicate a favourable and statistically significant correlation between colleague support, job security, and employee work performance. There is no significant association between managerial support, compensation, and benefits and employee work performance. The primary determinant in this study is the level of assistance colleagues provide. The factors of colleague support and job security are indicative of hygiene considerations, which serve to mitigate employee unhappiness. Hence, the findings of this research can serve as a valuable framework for organizations to improve their managerial practices, particularly concerning fostering colleague support and ensuring job security to raise satisfaction with work and subsequently boost employee job performance.","PeriodicalId":11454,"journal":{"name":"e-Academia Journal","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sartono, Andriyan Eka Sapta, Iqbal Reza Pratama","doi":"10.24191/e-aj.v12i2.23237","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24191/e-aj.v12i2.23237","url":null,"abstract":"This study examines the factors influencing the Third Party Fund (TPF) of Islamic Banks in Indonesia, with a focus on the constructs of Size (Total Assets), Liquidity (measured by the Financing to Deposit Ratio), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The data for the study were collected from five Islamic Banks over a period of five years, resulting in a dataset of 100 observations. The research employs a quantitative research method, utilizing multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis indicate that both Size and Liquidity have a significant positive impact on TPF, suggesting that higher levels of Size (Total Assets) and favourable liquidity conditions can contribute to an increase in TPF. However, the hypothesis regarding the impact of GDP on TPF was not supported, indicating that GDP does not have a significant relationship with TPF in this context. These findings have important implications for the management of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. Bank managers should prioritize strategies that enhance liquidity management and ensure sufficient total assets. By maintaining favourable liquidity conditions and expanding total assets, banks can attract more Third-Party Funds, thus fostering growth and stability in the Islamic banking sector. Furthermore, the study highlights the role of regulatory oversight in maintaining public trust in Islamic Banks. Effective regulatory frameworks and supervision are crucial in ensuring compliance with Islamic principles and promoting public confidence. In conclusion, this study provides valuable insights into the factors influencing TPF in Islamic Banks in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":11454,"journal":{"name":"e-Academia Journal","volume":"46 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139235753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research has shown the vast growing technologies for AR in many sectors; however, implementing the technologies towards education for DHH students is still lacking in Malaysia. This study aims to provide a rationale and justification for using AR technologies for DHH students for Animation. Based on the literature review, five important keys drive the research questions. For the context of this paper, the three considerable keys are AR as a teaching aid (1), the importance of Art and Design (2), and social stigma (3). These primary keys are to support and justify this research. An interview was conducted with teachers who teach DHH students to further help the three primary keys. An interview with the AR developer was also conducted for this research. The study developed an AR with Animation based on the interview and record-keeping. The results show that implementing this technology will significantly impact DHH students, especially in Art and Design. When exploring and using the AR Application, DHH students felt awkward. They were unfamiliar with the use of AR applications in their class. Nevertheless, they all enjoyed using it as it will have vast potential and possibility. As technology grows, DHH students will be one step ahead of others. It is worth mentioning the social stigma among them and how future research would continue to diminish the social stigma.","PeriodicalId":11454,"journal":{"name":"e-Academia Journal","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86505032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
