The modulator is based on silicon-on-insulator technology. The metallic electrodes are positioned in order to minimize the optical absorption losses. This results in the advantages of very small insertion loss of 5.4 dB and very high extinction ratio of 28 dB. Moreover, the modulator design enables future simple fabrication with only one doping mask. The modulator exhibits a very high speed of operation of 100 GHz. Conventional scheduling techniques do not take system heterogeneity and varying DVFS states into account and therefore do not produce efficient mappings. Additionally, since thread behavior varies throughout its execution, a fixed thread-to-core mapping is suboptimal. Dynamically scheduling threads to appropriate core states can significantly improve system throughput and decrease energy consumption. Scheduling decisions are of utmost importance in systems that aim to maximize performance. The problem of thread assignment in order to meet performance or power constraints has been shown to be NP-complete and therefore exceedingly expensive to solve online. This paper proposes a heuristic for dynamically assigning threads to system cores such that performance is maximized while minimizing the energy consumed. The heuristic can be applied to heterogeneous systems and homogeneous systems with DVFS capabilities. Interference is a common and big problem in cellular networks, especially in LTE-A due to the use of heterogeneous networks. Different frequency reuse methods such as soft frequency reuse, fractional frequency reuse and Reuse 3 are examples of the frequency reuse technique. In this paper, the NHFR (New Hybrid Frequency Reuse) method is used to mitigate interference in heterogeneous networks and furthermore the performance of such networks is investigated. Analytical solutions are obtained and different performance metrics are calculated. Also, simulations are performed by using the Vienna simulator and comparison with other methods is done. These images are produced in huge amount, which causes a bottleneck in the process of investigation. One of the most important diseases, which heavily rely on images, is Breast Cancer. We introduce a classification system based on a hybrid feature extractor that relies on Completed Local Binary Pattern (CLBP), Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), Gabor Filter, Wavelet Transform and Support Vector Machines classifier (SVM). The purpose of this research is to increase the level of classification automation of Breast Cancer (BC) Histopathological image. The Experimental approach was used to investigate the effect of the proposed algorithm which has shown promising results. A driver may lose control if his vehicle suddenly comes into road anomalies, especially at night. In developing countries, road anomalies are not only common, but also new ones usually exist without precautions. We present an alerting system that detects and localizes road ruts in order to release a prior-rut notification to the driver using no additional devices but his smartphone. Our system uses crowd-sourcing techniques to collect labeled data from smartphones built-in sensors that describe road ruts. We use this data to feed a machine learning engine to build models that can detect new ruts. Our system localizes identified ruts on the map via GPS coordinates and alerts drivers when they approach a rutted road. These side effects lead to decreasing the drug dose and delaying the therapy. Nano-robots can be used to deliver the drug to only tumor cells without harming the healthy tissues. In this paper, a new modification in PSO algorithm is proposed to facilitate Nano-robots delivery to the cancer area. The modified algorithm is Directed PSO (DPSO). The traditional method in the electricity bills system includes an employee to read the electricity meter. He makes a periodic visit to each house to take readings. There are many problems for this method such as taking wrong readings, having no meter reading and having homes in very remote areas. In addition to the high amounts and costs involved and a huge amount of money is lost due to theft. In this paper, design and implement a program that solves the problem of collecting electricity bills in Iraq through the prepaid system. This system employ web page application using C# with ASP.Net. the system consists of interactive interface that allow the easy treat by the user. So that, the user can know the amount of monthly consumption of electricity and the amount of monthly consumption of electricity, the amount of what remains in the account and provides the system the possibility of repacking and cut of the electricity from homes in case of depletion of the account. The system is controlled by an administrator in the server of electricity distribution company. In this way, there will be a kind of clearness between the electricity distribution department and the consumer and guarantee the rights of both parties through an integrated software system. The system depends only on the camera without the aid of any external sensors or fixed points. Our analysis for the problem shows that the most computationally intensive task is in the feature detectors/descriptors used, for that we will be comparing between 2 feature detectors/descriptors; AKAZE and ORB, that are well known for their good performance in terms of computational cost. Although AKAZE has managed to achieve better results, it comes with higher computational cost yet with substantial gain in terms of quality, this will provide more robust results for our system if compared to ORB.
