This research paper inspects the connection between different attributes of hospitality industry which lead to the creation of word of mouth. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect. 200 respondents from one of the leading and famous university of Pakistan is used as a sample to study on. To test the proposed model, we use structural equation modelling. The research ended with two major findings. First, food quality and service quality have great impact on creation of WOM. Second, price and atmosphere does not have any impact in creation of word of mouth.","PeriodicalId":113459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Hotel & Business Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124316050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Regional attractiveness and competitiveness are directly linked and countries and regions increasingly have to compete to attract residents, visitors and inward investment. The South West cultural festival thus simply shows those things that make citizens of this Region unique and a forum to explain who they are. It is understandable that with all the activities associated with intensive motivation of the development of cultural tourism in the South West Region in particular and Cameroon in general, a number of both private and public companies has decided to partner with the organisers of the second edition of the South West Region cultural jamboree this as a primary means to reach specified business goals.","PeriodicalId":113459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Hotel & Business Management","volume":"35 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127751039","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Simplifying the service process and rejection of customers are discovered to be the most common types of service sabotage, whereas personal convenience, vindictive psychology on customers, stereotyping, and work pressure are the main motives for sabotaging service. However, such a vision of the world made it difficult to grasp other possible paths of organization, change or development. We summarized and brought everything back to Westphalian order. We accused others of refusing otherness when we ourselves were the first to refuse it. It was even unacceptable to talk about development without reference to the West. Could we today have the courage to admit that it is because of this refusal of otherness that the West, by its excessive esteem of superiority, has given itself the luxury of colonizing certain countries of the South. Didn't Alain Peyrefitte point out in his book entitled \"The immobile Empire\" that “the confrontation between the industrialized countries and the Third World _ or between North and South, was tainted at the outset by colonial conquest, which inflicted intolerable damage on the soul of the colonized peoples and often aroused a sense of guilt among the colonizers for their acts of plunder, once the intoxication of domination had passed\". Also, this refusal of otherness has led the West to develop universal thoughts, universal models, universal programs, universal visions, even universal orders. And the societies that do not meet the criteria for these ready-to-wear are automatically banned from the restricted circle of great powers and qualified, as the case may be, the Rogue states, the Failed state, the States of the axis of Evil, etc. Samir AMIN remarkably clarifies this situation in these terms.","PeriodicalId":113459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Hotel & Business Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131557169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We had chosen this topic named ‘Impact of different factors on ROE of banks’ to get the proper understanding that how ROE is related to other factors of financial statements. We have collected relevant secondary data, theoretical literature and also some other valuable information before developing this research paper on ‘Impact of different factors on ROE of banks’. The core objective of this paper is to find out the effects of different elements of financial statements of a bank on the Return on Equity (ROE). There are some elements to evaluate a bank’s performance, but all of these the Return on Equity is the most essential elements to evaluate a bank’s performance properly. The Return on equity (ROE) reveals that how much profit a bank can earn in comparison to the shareholder’s total amount of equity found on the balance sheet. High return on equity reveals that A bank is more capable of generating more cash internally, when it has a high Return on Equity. In most cases, a bank’s with the higher return on equity which is compared to the industry average, is the better. For that reason, a bank puts more emphasis on the Return on Equity (ROE). Besides, management works hard to show the better ROE on the financial statements since it is very crucial to the potential investors. Other elements/indicators of the financial statement/performance might have some effect on ROE. Increasing in some elements might lead to increase in ROE and vice-versa. Some elements might not have any effect on ROE. In this research, we have evaluated the effects of those elements on ROE and how much they affect. The core objective of this paper is to examine the different factors (assets, PAT/PBT, Interest Margin etc.) impact on a bank’s Return on Equity (ROE).","PeriodicalId":113459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Hotel & Business Management","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131595847","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The hospitality business is becoming more sophisticated and complex in today’s robust business environment. Managing in uncertainties requires a new set of competences beyond the traditional management skills and competences. Consequently, the competitive hospitality business environment suggests that managerial demands will be different from the past. Intensified global competition has also increased the pressure on business to respond quicker and develop new and innovative approaches to compete in the business. Hence, today’s entry-level managers need a diversity of talents, skills and competences in order to meet the demands of the industry. In this respect, an effective hospitality management education programme must be able to respond to the demands of the constantly changing environment. To aggravate the situation, the rapid development of new hospitality management programmes, not to mention the increased enrolment figures of existing hospitality schools, has led to an increased concern about programme credibility and effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":113459,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Hotel & Business Management","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115129943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
