The paper summarizes and systematizes data on the incidence and territorial spread of diseases in the region from the perspective of possible risks for those visiting it. Alcohol-based gels are used in many hospitals around the world for hand antisepsis. The main reason for using antiseptics in gel form is the reduction of skin irritation and dryness and the ease of use (no spillage as quickly as liquid antiseptics when tilting or tipping the bottle). However, gels take longer to dry than other forms, depending on the consistency of the gel. The change in consistency (rheology) has a significant effect on the rate of alcohol evaporation and therefore determines the contact time of the active ingredient with the skin. Since it is believed that the main contribution to antimicrobial activity is made by the active ingredient, and the other components are considered inert, in this work we tested model skin antiseptics based on isopropyl alcohol with different viscosity to evaluate the effectiveness of antiseptics in hand hygiene treatment was carried out in vivo on volunteers. The results obtained do not allow us to unambiguously interpret the effect of viscosity on antimicrobial activity, since up to a gel-former concentration of 1.5?% we observed a decrease in efficacy, and at a concentration of 2?% we observed a concentration higher than that for the aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol. It follows from our findings that the issue of the influence of viscosity on the antimicrobial activity of skin antiseptics should be studied during disinfectological examination. Insect mortality is highly dependent on the concentration of fungal conidia, which is critical to induce horizontal transfer capable of increasing insect population mortality without the need for direct contact between bed bugs and the inoculated substrate. Pyrethroid residues on treated surfaces significantly reduce the germination of B. bassiana spores. Purpose of the study: to study the toxicity of disinfectants of different groups for cell culture, to select a toxicity neutralizer, to study the virucidal activity of these disinfectants and their combinations against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Materials and methods: experimental studies were carried out using the reference strain of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, namely the hCoV-19/Australia/VIC01/2020 (AUS) strain (Wuhan variant), obtained from the State Collection of Causative Agents of Viral Infectious Diseases and Rickettsial Diseases, functioning on the basis of the Federal Budgetary Institution State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology «Vector» of Rospotrebnadzor. The residual infectious activity of the virus was determined by titrating samples in cell culture. To conduct the research, we used a Vero E6 cell culture obtained from the Collection of Cell Cultures of the Federal Budgetary Institution of Scientific Research Center for Virology and Biochemistry «Vector» of Rospotrebnadzor in the form of a 2-day monolayer with a confluency of 95–100?%. Results. As a result of the studies, experimental data were obtained on the dynamics of the virucidal activity of different groups of disinfectants and their combinations against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The degree of toxicity of disinfectants for Vero E6 cell culture is shown. Optimal combinations of disinfectants and a 40?% aqueous solution of formaldehyde (hereinafter referred to as formalin) have been selected, increasing its disinfection efficiency at an initial concentration halved, which can be used for final disinfection treatment of the premises of isolated virology laboratories conducting work with the SARS-CoV- coronavirus. Conclusion. The results obtained indicate that when using selected combinations of disinfectants to carry out final disinfection with formaldehyde vapors formed during the evaporation of formaldehyde as a result of its heating, a twofold decrease in the initial concentration of formalin is possible, leading to a decrease in its toxic effect on personnel, while maintaining 100?% efficiency disinfection. Combating pathogens once they have been released into the environment is complicated by their widespread distribution. It is necessary to prevent the contamination of environmental objects. One possible way to do this is to create materials that have antimicrobial action without exposure to disinfectants and thus begin to have an antimicrobial effect on microorganisms immediately upon contact. Textile materials are widely used in medical organizations and are one of the factors of pathogenic microflora spreading. In this work, the possibility of using substances from the group of cationic surfactants to impart antimicrobial properties to textile materials was considered. Substances from different classes were used – tertiary amines, quaternary ammonium compounds, polymeric guanidine derivatives. The substances were applied from aqueous solutions using a laboratory analogue of a drying and a shirring machine. An acrylate binder with thermal initiation of polymerization was used to fix the active substances to the tissues. The content of the active substances in the tissues after application was determined by high-performance liquid chromatography. Antimicrobial activity of the obtained materials was checked by the agar plate method and the area of the growth retardation zone was estimated. It has been established that the identified 49-year HFRS incidence cycle consists of 2 phases: a low incidence phase lasting 20 years (1967–1986) and a high incidence phase lasting approximately 29 years (1987–2016). It is of note that since 2017, there has been another phase of low incidence of HFRS in the Russian Federation, which, presumably, will continue until 2036. The prognostic indicator of the HFRS incidence for 2022 in the Russian Federation, obtained taking into account the current phase of low incidence, was 5.35?±?1.34 per 100 thousand population, with an actual level of 4.73 per 100 thousand population. A high degree of similarity in the dynamics of the HFRS incidence has been identified for the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan (r = 0.87), the Republic of Tatarstan (r = 0.88) and the Russian Federation. It is outlined that the identified 20- and 29-year phases of the 49-year HFRS incidence cycle in the Russian Federation are generally determined by the epidemic activity of natural foci of the Puumala virus and coincide in duration with climate change waves in the European part of the Russian Federation.
