To realize the integrative decision of service level and reproduction point, the service level of a production-inventory system is defined as the probability of satisfying product demand in each period. Inventory variation in stochastic demand is analyzed, and the average inventory in planning periods is invited into the decision model. The planning output in every period is stochastic variables having the same distributions with the production demands. The approach is demonstrated in case of a Chinese automobile company. Contextualisation of an AVP enables it to achieve service adaptation in response to changes in context information. Contextualisation is achieved through interactions with ContextWare, an infrastructure which collects, manages and disseminates context. Hence, context aware computing has been recognized as crucial for future, in particular mobile, services. The main focus of our work is on context aware systems, where context sources are distributed and span various domains. While a lot of work has been done already, many solutions fall short when it comes to the actual deployment, either due to complexity reasons or lack of widespread acceptance of the used technologies. The solution we developed aims for a platform that is highly extensible, achieves interoperability across devices and networks but is also grounded in available standards, making its widespread deployment possible almost immediately. The solution is rooted in two major design principles as well as in the usage of the event framework for the session initiation protocol (SIP) to ensure this aim. In particular, a detailed study is presented on the effects of this statistical narrowing, when used to generate income prediction data based on the current population survey provided by the U.S. Census Bureau. A systematic analysis of the grid parameter search, training time, accuracy, and number of support vectors shows increases not only in the efficiency of the SVM methods, but also in the classification accuracy. Proper identification of the relevant features for specific problems allows accuracy values as high as 93% against a test population, to be obtained, while reducing the total computational. The method is useful when we are going to develop an information system (IS) in the context of a given business. Understanding and resolving these concerns allow us to more easily gather the requirements for the new IS. Understanding the concerns means to be able to describe them. Therefore, for each concern a high level specification should be elaborated. This specification describes the concern associated problem and the care of one or more stakeholders. Taxonomy of concerns emerging during a IS life cycle is proposed by introducing four perspectives on the system development: social, informational, functional, and technological. Recently there is a trend that many DDoS attacks utilize Internet relay chat (IRC) infrastructures as the communication channels. In this paper we propose an intrusion surveillance system (ISS) to detect IRC-based DDoS attacks. The main functions of ISS are to observe network conditions, gather intelligence from distributed sources, and determine what potential attacks will likely happen. We give the detailed design of ISS in this paper. We also implement this system by using a new approach of text-based decision making - distributed preference-based surveillance (DPBS) algorithm.
