In western countries, reformist thought had come from theory to practical phase and in all pillars of communities change had happened. This progress and renovation transmitted to other communities and became a model for reforms and developments in communities like Iran. Through travels to west, Iranians become acquainted with their modern civilization, and their progress made Iranians wondered and perplexed. The first signs of the new civilization which attracted Iranians involved modern civil institutions, modern political systems such as constitutional monarchy, republic, and new political and social concepts like law, freedom, equality, parliament and popular sovereignty. Many of the intellectuals tried to compare these systems with the political systems running in Iran. Restudying the French Revolution by Iranian thinkers led to new narratives of this revolution. One of these thinkers was Mirza Agha Khan Kermani, who was greatly affected by French Revolution and attracted by political system of France. Mowjood","doi":"10.5958/2249-6270.2015.00062.8","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.5958/2249-6270.2015.00062.8","url":null,"abstract":"Paddy cultivation has become uneconomical in marginal paddy lands, thus farmers have started crop diversification in marginal paddy lands. Commercial transformation of subsistence agriculture would result in sustainable food security and enhanced links between agricultural markets. Market Orientation (MO) and Market Participation (MP) are proxies for commercialization of agriculture through crop diversification. The objectives of this study were to find out the degree of crop diversification and commercial transformation in terms of MO and MP of farmers and to investigate the determinants of MO and MP by using socio-economic variables. Pre-structured questionnaire survey and focus group discussion were carried out to gather data from randomly selected 115 farmers in the study area. Data were analyzed using Software Package for Social Sciences and Microsoft Excel. Results revealed that, moderate MO and lower MP were recorded in the study area and determinants of MO and MP were varying for both cultivation seasons. Education, income and extension service are found as factors of utmost importance to enhance MO and MP. The significant effect of extension service on MP implied that a successful commercial transformation of farmers and need for strengthening of extension service to promote crop diversification and commercial transformation of paddy and other field crops among different farming communities. Furthermore, widely reported and recurring financial scandals that feed into the growing public perceptions of ‘fat-cat’ attitudes towards corporate directors and management has served to sensitise corporate leaders to the disapproval of ‘stakeholders’ who are no longer confined to the ‘shareholders’ of companies. Thus, while the name of Enron has become almost synonymous in the public psyche with ‘misconduct in the boardroom’, a plethora of ‘golden farewells’ to senior managers or directors of firms whose performance put forward more an image of incompetence and risky behaviour has fuelled the perceptions that such individuals have been neither accountable to, nor caring of, the interests of those in whose names they have conducted themselves in their business capacities. The present study is a descriptive survey which aims at analyzing the study of attitude of secondary schools teachers towards inclusive education. Population for the present study comprises of students studying in secondary school teachers of District Mysore. The sample for the presents study comprises of 120 teachers from different secondary schools of Mysore district, with equal numbers of rural and urban selected adopting stratified randomization technique. Teacher‘s attitude scale towards inclusive education standardized and validated by Vishal Sood and Arti Anand. To conclude it can be said that inclusive education is a mandate today and the need of the hour. It is a matter of immense pleasure that inclusive education is in a progressive way all over the world, but still there is room for improvement. Considering its strategic importance, fossil and food resources, Caspian Sea is one the most important regions of the world. Caspian is located in the heartland region. This big lake which is known as the sea considering its big size is ruled by different powers in the course of history and has had many different names. These names are taken from the settlers living around that sea or the regions alongside it. The most important country which has had the longer rule over this sea is Iran. Most of the names given to this sea in the course of history are Iranian names. The most important of such names is Caspian, which is the international name of the sea as well. Caspian is actually the name of a region in Iran. This sea is known as Mazandaran in Iran. Considering some of the mistakes committed by historians in recording the sea in history, the name of the sea was unfortunately known as Khazar in the history books for centuries. Later, this mistake was corrected. It affects all aspects of socioeconomic development, including livelihoods, water, agriculture, population, health, education, job creation, and genderrelated issues. Current patterns of energy production and consumption have direct negative impact on the environment and natural resources at the local, regional and global levels. Energy is an important factor for achieving the goals of sustainable development: social equity, economic growth and environmental protection. Worldwide, two billion people have no access to electricity and nearly as many rely on traditional fuels to meet their energy needs, particularly for lighting and non-lighting applications1. It seriously affects their lives and also overburdens them. It further limits their search for educational and income-generating opportunities.
