The basic objective of inclusive growth is to achieve growth with equity and inclusion of each and every section of the society in the process of economic development. Financial inclusion is a major driving force to achieve inclusive growth by providing financial products to all segments of the population. Finance is a key dynamic factor which is very necessary to boost the economy. By extending the financial inclusion facilities to the mass of the population, the economy can attain massive benefits in the long run. The paper intends to study the financial inclusion of sugar cane cultivators in the study area. The study elicited that all sugarcane farmers are linked thru banks suggesting 100 percent financial inclusion of sugarcane farmers in the study area. But study seriously noticed that the usability of such saving accounts was very less due to lack of knowledge regarding to financial products. Moreover, the study observedthat the insurance penetration was moderately covered in the study area. The research study noticed that the study area was not covered properly in case of health and crop insurance and necessary steps need to function to boost insurance penetration.","PeriodicalId":110506,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social and Economic Research","volume":"144 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124499101","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysing this ratio in the global financial market is frivolous without considering macroeconomic variables such as inflation rate, risk, interest rate, etc. and it should be conducted in a comprehensive analytical framework. The ongoing study aims to focus on risk and P/E ratio and to indicate if there is a relationship between the firm's risk and P/E ratio. Therefore, the research population consists of 41 firms listed in Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) during 2002–2011 and Linear Regression Model is also employed to analyse the research hypotheses. Finally, Student's t-test is used to verify the null-hypothesis at the 0.05 level of significance and consequently, a correlation was found between variables and research hypotheses are accepted.","PeriodicalId":110506,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social and Economic Research","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128370119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a multidimensional social process that helps people to gain control over their own lives. It is a process that fosters power in people for use in their own lives, communities and society by acting over issues they define as important. Empowerment of women is essentially the process of upliftment of economic, social and political status of women, the traditionally underprivileged ones in the society. It involves the building up of a society wherein women can breathe without the fear of oppression, exploitation, apprehension, discrimination and the general feeling of persecution which goes with being a woman in a traditionally male dominated society. It is the process of guarding them against all forms of violence. From the local to the global level, women‘s leadership and political participation are restricted. Women are underrepresented as voters, as well as in leading positions, whether in elected office, the civil service, the private sector or academia. This occurs despite their proven abilities as leaders and agents of change and their right to participate equally in democratic governance. Women face several obstacles to participating in political life. Structural barriers through discriminatory laws, capacity gaps and institutions still limit women‘s options to run for office. Capacity gaps mean women are less likely than men to have the education, contacts and resources needed to become effective leaders.","PeriodicalId":110506,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social and Economic Research","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129381657","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, when a women enters as prisoner/inmates to the prison maintained by the state (as prison is state subject in India) the state should take care of her with special attention after considering mandate under various provisions of the constitution especially under the Article 15 (3) of Indian Constitution.
