Rubiaceae) is a species widely distributed in tropical Central and South America, including the Cerrado biome [1]. Is a native from Amazon region, with medicinal importance and is widely used in Brazil [2]. This tree is one of the most promising for sustainable harvesting programs and restoration of Brazilian riparian forests [3] (Figure 1). G. americana has economic and environmental importance, being valued for food production, recuperation of degraded areas, in the composition in areas of permanent preservation and agroforestry [3,4]. Your wood is widely used in civil and naval construction, and carpentry [5].","PeriodicalId":11007,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering & Biosciences","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78756124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Presently, weeds have been controlled by using synthetic weedicides. These chemicals have a negative impact on the environment [1] and human health [2]. Use of allelopathy is an environment-friendly option for weed control [3,4]. Allelopathy is identified as a natural weed control approach [5,6]. Different plants have different allelochemicals. These chemicals could be utilized for suppressing weeds [7].","PeriodicalId":11007,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering & Biosciences","volume":"42 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75017921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The best biomaterial properties vary depending on the substituted tissue and the required function. Many researchers have focused on “the development of effective antibacterial surfaces that prevent bacterial adhesion” and spread to nearby tissues [1]. The purpose of this mini-review is to summarize the current knowledge in this area, its stress on technologies suitable for inhibiting joint infection in total joint arthroplasty. Related technologies may be involved in predicting surgical infections in additional orthopedic conditions related to implants, such as plates and external fixators.","PeriodicalId":11007,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering & Biosciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89632009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The above Drugs have certain toxicities such as Nephrotoxicity, Hepatotoxicity, Anemia, Thrombocytopenia, Leucopenia, Degeneration of hair follicle etc, Because of the low therapeutic index, the drugs degenerate normal cells with cancerous cells, Thus it is necessary to develop the medication and therapy to reduce this cytotoxic effects, This can be achieve by using natural and safe agents for the treatment of cancer. In this point of view some phytochemical constituents were recognized, for example, taxol, vincristine, and vinblastine [1-2]. There is expanding number of distributions on Azadirachta indica and its concentrate to battle against various tumors. Azadirachta indica is evergreen, tropical, having angled molded green leaves and trunk of timber with bug repellent properties. Generally, Azadirachta indica demonstrated an anticancer movement by advancing the cell reinforcement chemical, and adjusting the intracellular segments fundamental for tumor development and advancement, for example, Cyclin D, Cyclin B, Cyclin B1, Cyclin1, Cyclin E, P53, PCNA, P21,GST-P. Nimbolide was found to bind with the cell cycle energy in cancer cells by inhensing the cell cycle capture at G1/S or G2/M stage through concealment of Cyclin, CDKs and PCNA [3-6].","PeriodicalId":11007,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering & Biosciences","volume":"23 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83265727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present study aimed to conduct the physico-chemical characterization and evaluate the antioxidant capacity of Miconia ciliata infrutescences. Analyses of pH, titratable acidity, total sugars, soluble pectin, total phenol, vitamin C, monomeric anthocyanins, antioxidant activity (DPPH) and color (L, C, ºh) were conducted. The pH increased as acidity decreased, while soluble solids, total sugars and soluble pectin increased and total phenol, vitamin C, antioxidant activity and clarity increased as maturation advanced. Monomeric anthocyanins were only detected in mature infrutescences, while the green ones presented more vivid color. The hue angle changed from green to purple from the green-mature to mature infrutescences, respectively. infrutescences have significant amounts of total phenols, are source of vitamin C and present sensory and functional appeal.","PeriodicalId":11007,"journal":{"name":"Current Trends in Biomedical Engineering & Biosciences","volume":"135 30","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-02-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72558946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
