In this paper, we present an approach for the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of the three dimensional printed objects. This methodology solves the image classification problem by using the Neural Networks as they are capable of making good decisions and classifying images by proper training. The network has been trained by a large number of images of the tested sample layers. The proposed solution has been used for testing different sets of actual data for monitoring the performance under different scenarios, and the obtained results show a high degree of accuracy regarding image classification and defect detection.","PeriodicalId":109953,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP)","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121393654","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The primary applications of the discussed antennas are radar sensors and the focus of the paper will be on frequencies from 120GHz up to 250GHz. In terms of performance, we will present two types of antennas: a) antennas with wide bandwidths in terms of radiation and return loss, and b) scalable antenna arrays with high gain and efficiency. We will discuss the design aspects of the antennas with a focus on the effects of dimensions of the eWLB package. Simulation and measurement results of each antennas will be presented and discussed.","PeriodicalId":109953,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126291282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, microstrip (MS) and grounded coplanar waveguides (GCPW) are characterized by considering rough conductors in CST Microwave Studio. Next, laminate is partially removed, to increase the electromagnetic field ratio in air. Accordingly, the dielectric losses are reduced and the electrical length is decreased. These conductors are produced by using a CO2 laserdrilling machine to remove the undesired substrate. The RF performance (DC to 100 GHz) of these waveguides is compared to transmission lines manufactured in conventional PCB technology. Finally, different kinds of simulated and produced microstrip filters are shown and fabrication tolerances are compared to those produced in standard technology.","PeriodicalId":109953,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133657294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BN, deposited by sputtering, encapsulates 3D-C to form a light-weight graphene based EM shield that has an electrically insulating exterior. The BN deposited on 3D-C was homogeneously distributed with even coverage on the struts of 3D-C. MIMO sensors use multiple transmitter antennas and receiver antennas to perform multiple measurements simultaneously in order to – among other purposes – reduce the time of measurement series. It could be displayed that MIMO measurements can be used to increase the step size of a synthetic aperture without having a negative impact on the SAR image. Thus, the SAR measurement time can be reduced by a factor up to the number of MIMO channels, depending on the used MIMO array geometry.","PeriodicalId":109953,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Workshop Series on Advanced Materials and Processes for RF and THz Applications (IMWS-AMP)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121945072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
