Housholds resort to different coping strategies with the increase in OOPE on health care, including maternal care.\u0000Material and Methods:Nature of the data was cross-sectional and study setting and location was in district Rajanpur, a predominantly rural district in Pakistan. Data was collected in time period of october 2020 to december 2020 from 368 mothers using multi-stage random sampling, in the selected Basic Health Unit areas were included in the study. Data were collected through a pretested inteview schedule translated in Urudu langage.\u0000Results: Savings or current income were the primary sources of financing OOPE on delivery care by 90% of respondents, followed by borrowing reported by 35% of respondents who borrowed money from friends and relatives to cope with the current expenditure on delivery. Low-income families used multiple sources to meet the burden of OOPE, and a significant proportion of them had resorted to borrowing (41.5%) and sale of household assets (23%) to meet OOPE on delivery care. The study concludes that despite various government initiatives to improve maternal healthcare services in Pakistan, most rural families have incurred OOPE in seeking delivery care.

Elder population due to low awareness, literacy rate, low income level and lack of training and experience felt difficulty while assessing E-PHRs.\u0000Background: Use of PHRs has been increasing in healthcare organizations. Patients’ involvement in managing health has been crucial. However, scars and spars literature is available about use of PHRs in elderly people.\u0000Material and Methods: The nature of the current study is quantitative and nature of data is cross-sectional. Survey approach was used. Self-administered questionnaire was distributed among 30 elderly people. Questionnaire consists of two sections. First is about demographic information such as gender, age, literacy and second section are about awareness, lack of experience, training and resistance to new technology. Frequency, percentage, and mean values are calculated in SPSS. The reliability of the questionnaire was checked by Cronbach alpha.\u0000Results: Findings indicated that highest mean value is scores by lack of experience followed by resistance to new technology. Moreover all the constructs met the threshold for reliability.\u0000Conclusion: It is concluded that hospital administration focus on training on elderly population. Motivate them to use new technology, make it user friendly and raise awareness about using E-PHRs and its benefits.\u0000Practical Implications: This study has practical implications for health practitioners, policy makers and ministry of health. Policy makers cannot ignore the importance of E-PHRs while making policy. Budget is required for training, raising awareness and motivating elderly population to use E-PHRs but it has long term benefits in future. Both health care professionals and patients can take benefits from use of E-PHRs.

Despite significant steps taken to improve nutrition, India is grappling with double edged sword of Malnutrition. Malnutrition, under or over, has affected many countries across the globe. Objective: This article explores the ground reality in the meadow of Nutrition status revealed by National Family Health Survey (NFHS)-5 data for 36states/UTs in India. Material and Methods: It explicitly evaluates the success and inadequacies based on parameters and comparing them with NFHS-4 data. The paper takes on the panoramic view of all forms of malnutrition in different sections as well as the various initiatives and existing programs addressing this issue. Findings: Among the 22 states, 16 states recorded an increase in underweight and severely wasted fewer than 5 children, which were surveyed during the first phase of the NFHS -5. The NFHS-5 data again revealed that except for Goa & Diu all the states / UTs have shown an increase in the percentage of overweight children over the past 5 years. Conclusion: We need timely nutritional interventions, full immunization, and supplementation programs.
