Ini memungkinkan siapapun, termasuk warga biasa dapat menjadi wartawan. Fenomena tersebut ialah jurnalisme warga. Untuk menjaga kualitas konten yang diproduksi oleh warga, pers harus melakukan perannya sebagai gatekeeper. Dewasa ini media tidak lagi sekadar menjadi gatekeeper namun perlu menjalankan perannya sebagai gatekeeper plus atas informasi yang dihasilkan oleh warga. Gatekeeper plus adalah fungsi yang lebih kompleks dari sekadar gatekeeper dan mengadopsi format baru dalam bertutur kata, publikasi dan melibatkan warga. Pada tingkat ini, jurnalisme tak lagi sekadar menggurui dengan mengatakan apa yang perlu diketahui oleh publik namun menginformasikan serta membantu memfasilitasi diskusi publik. Kovach dan Rosenstiel merumuskan delapan fungsi pers sebagai gatekeeper plus yang harus dipahami dan dilakukan oleh media, yaitu; authenticator, sense maker, investigator, witness bearer, empowerer, smart aggregator, forum organizer, dan role model. Portal media online Mojok.co, melalui rubrik Sungguh-sungguh Liputan (Susul) menjalankan praktik jurnalisme warga. Penelitian ini ingin melihat apakah redaksi Mojok.co mengimplementasikan ke delapan peran tersebut untuk menjaga kualitas berita dirubrik Susul. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis interaktif milik Miles dan Huberman. Dari hasil analisis, peneliti menarik kesimpulan bahwa redaksi Mojok.co telah mengimplementasikan delapan peran gatekeeper plus dalam praktik jurnalisme warga pada rubrik Susul. Film termasuk sebagai salah satu komunikasi massa, yang di dalamnya terdapat simbol, kode dan nilai yang ingin disampaikan kepada penontonnya sekaligus dalam Film kerap menggambarkan realitas sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat. Sejak tahun 2020, drama serial Thailand dengan genre Boy’s Love mendapatkan banyak perhatian dari masyarakat khususnya Indonesia. Muncul pro dan kontra terhadap meningkatnya akses drama serial Thailand genre Boy’s Love. Hal tersebut dikarenakan genre Boy’s Love menormalisasi dan menawarkan kisah romansa sesama laki-laki. Pada dasarnya komunikasi adalah pengiriman pesan dari pengirim pesan ke penerima pesan, sehingga didalam Film selalu terdapat nilai dan pesan yang ingin disampaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis resepsi untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerimaan penonton drama serial Thailand genre Boy’s Love mengenai homoseksual, yang kemudian hasil resepsi diklasifikasikan dalam 3 posisi penerimaan pesan oleh Stuart Hall. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penonton drama serial Thailand genre Boy’s Love adalah khalayak aktif karena mampu menciptakan makna pesan. Dengan menggabungkan elemen-elemen multimedia seperti text, graphic, picture, slide shows, dan audio. Elemen multimedia ini dipilih karena dalam mengirimkan informasinya dinilai lebih efektif, dan meminimalisir miskomunikasi dalam menyampaikan informasi. Maka dari itu dalam penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana pemanfaatan media multimedia dalam penyampaian informasi jurnalistik di media online Kumparan. Salah satu perilaku yang timbul pada para pelajar ialah melibatkan situs pembelajaran berbasis online atau daring seperti Brainly. Setelah era normal baru diberlakukan dan aktivitas belajar mengajar kembali pada sistem tatap muka, nyatanya kebiasaan penggunaan situs belajar belajar online Brainly dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran dan pengerjaan tugas sekolah tidak dapat langsung ditinggalkan begitu saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara mendalam penggunaan situs belajar online Brainly.co.id dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran dan pengerjaan tugas sekolah siswa SMA Bodhisattva di Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan Social Network Analysis (SNA), dengan crawling data menggunakan website Netlytic.org dan hasil untuk memeriksa data relasional bukan hanya pada karakteristik atribut aktor individu, dan berfokus pada menjelaskan pola hubungan antara aktor, dan menganalisis struktur pola- pola dengan menggunakan aplikasi gephi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2500 cuitan Twitter dengan #WajarPertamaxNaik pada tanggal 1 April 2022 dan sampel yang didapat pada crawling data dan olah data sebanyak 1074 aktor (nodes). Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teori Computer Mediated Communication (CMC), Komunikasi Politik dan Media Sosial. Practically, marketing communication requires a suggestive communication strategy. Someone or communicator who can convey, inform, and provide the information needed to consumers, namely sales marketing. This research focused on sales marketing who works in a housing products company in the BSB City area. In this study, sales marketing at the Kedaton Homes, BSB City housing became the subject of research as informants totalling four (4) people with two sales marketing who had worked for one year and 2 sales marketing who had worked for less than six months. One of the suggestive marketing strategies implemented by sales marketing in Kedaton Homes is hypnotic selling. Hypnotic selling is one of the suggestive communication strategies with the art of speaking and conveying something enchantingly to the consumers. This research on hypnotic selling aims to determine the application of hypnotic selling communication strategies to marketing in Kedaton Homes. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data analysis based on interviews, observations and documentation to obtain the validity and clarity of the data. This study used the theory of Willy Wong (2010) in his book entitled ‘hypnosis for selling’. The dynamics of technological change and competition are also felt by regional print media with a smaller market scale. Convergence is an alternative solution for regional print media to adapt to changes that occur, one of which is Solopos. In practice, the application of convergence in Solopos results in a reorganization of media management and newsroom processing. Thus directing the media to the concept of newsroom. This study aims to describe the application of newsroom convergence in the Solopos regional media newsroom. Descriptive qualitative research method was carried out by means of semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation studies for data collection. Informants in this research included managing editors, print content managers, online content managers, Solopos reporter. Through this research, it has been found that convergence newsroom in the Solopos newsroom is carried out by implementing online-first, developing Content Management System (CMS) Solopos as a news control center, integrating the role of journalists between platforms in journalistic workflows and unifying the placement of newsrooms between platforms into a single newsroom. This research concludes that the editors in Solopos are currently implementing convergence with the newsroom 2.0: cross media newsroom since the beginning of 2022 to the journalistic workflow and editorial management system. The latest pandemic that had happened prior to pandemic Covid-19 with arguably similar scale was the Spanish Flu that happened in 1918, when the network of global connection still sparsely established. On the contrary, pandemic Covid-19 happened in globalized network society and in the era when information can be access easily and can be spread rapidly and massively. The overwhelming amount of information about Covid-19, both accurate and inaccurate information had flooded the public sphere and public conversation, event WHO coined the situation as “infodemic”. However, whether the vast amount of information has generated a well-informed public is need to be scrutinized further. Using the Covid-19 literacy scale develop by Naveed, et.al., in 20202, which consist of two dimensions; infection spread and symptoms; and infection prevention and treatment, this research investigates the knowledge or the literacy of Covid among adults in Indonesia. The result shows that the vast amout information can shape the knowledge of the respondent to be literate of the Covid-19. It indicates that respondents were able to take and retain accurate information regarding Covid-19. This research, however, does not say that inaccurate and false information would not cause harmful effect.
