This paper aims to assess the overall impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health system in India, as well as the socio-economic and psychological impact of the pandemic. Literature review was adopted to conduct factor assessment and analysis, and all data from 2019 to 2021 were selected from scientific literature, real-time report and Local News. The focus of reference was the patient’s experience during COVID-19 lockdown. During the COVID-19 blockade in India, a large proportion of the population had difficulty in accessing health care, and a certain proportion of the bottom of society faced difficulties accessing medicines. More than half of India’s population reported loss of income and jobs, and most of the population with primary diseases had no access to normal primary health care. Social stability was broken, and the gap between the rich and the poor exacerbated racial discrimination. As a result, people at the basic level of Indian society suffering from psychological pain, are unable to live a normal life and get medical and hospitalization services. India’s health care system is in a state of disarray due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shortage of medical supplies will have a direct impact on the health of the entire population. It has an impact on the economic development, social class and population balance of the current Indian society.","PeriodicalId":108827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"316 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122314836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, 474 pregnancy were assessed using the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, the Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale, the Social Support Rating Scale and the Simplified Chinese Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, the intermediate and intermediate effects were analyzed. The results showed that self-esteem significantly predicted the depression of pregnant women; and subjective social support and psychological elasticity completely mediated the influence of pregnant women’s self-esteem on depression during pregnancy, but objective support had no significant effect on the pathway. The findings of the current study indicated that enhancing the subjective social support and psychological resilience of pregnant women can effectively maintain their mental health and relieve depression. Finally, the theoretical contribution and practical significance of the current study were discussed.","PeriodicalId":108827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123779455","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper reports the results of a survey conducted with the health care workers working under Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHOMS) as how ethical decisions can help in the promotion and advancement of one’s health and wellbeing as well as prevent NCDs in Fiji. This study indicates that although mediation by health care workers is necessary to promote individuals’ wellbeing and generate advantages for the population served, the nation as a whole when offered such intercessions should sufficiently comprehend the advantages and disadvantages for themselves and practice healthy living. As said by the American specialist and intellectual Edmund Pellegrino 'The wellbeing strategy of a country or a local community is its framework for controlling and improving the social employment of its clinical data and resources'. The study finding determined that health care workers proficiently proactively make an honest effort to advocate and advance the counteraction of NCDs in Fiji in spite of the absence of finances and assets apportioned by the health policy makers and government.","PeriodicalId":108827,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Public Health and Data Science (ICPHDS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132235336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
