In this article, we discuss the factors that cause low mathematical literacy, such as personal factors, instructional factors, and environmental factors and indicators that are used as a reference for the level of mathematical literacy abilities possessed by students. This article also discusses the strategies that have been used by researchers in the research they conducted and stated that they were successful in improving students' mathematical literacy skills with the strategies and use of the learning models they used. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel adalah 70 siswa yang diambil dari kelas XII Agama 1 (kelas eksperimen) dan XII IPS 1 (kelas kontrol). Pre-test dan post-test yang sama diberikan kepada kedua kelas. Pada pre-test, nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 61,94 sedangkan kelas eksperimen adalah 69,80. Setelah melakukan perlakuan dan post-test, hasil rata-rata kelas kontrol adalah 70,20 sedangkan kelas eksperimen adalah 84,68. Ini menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol dalam post-test. Analisis statistik juga menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh di kelas kontrol adalah 8,25 dan di kelas eksperimen adalah 14,88. Data yang diperoleh dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dianalisis menggunakan rumus t-test. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa pada tingkat signifikansi 5%, hasil t-test dibandingkan dengan t-tabel membuktikan bahwa t-hitung lebih tinggi daripada t-tabel (3,26 > 1,701). Berdasarkan kriteria uji, hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi siswa dengan perlakuan video dan tanpa perlakuan video dalam menulis teks prosedur. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video instruksi memasak efektif digunakan sebagai media dalam pengajaran menulis teks prosedur kepada siswa kelas XII di Madrasah Al-Washliyah 12 Perbaungan. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan hasil observasi di lokasi magang mengajar mahasiswa, wawancara dengan seorang guru, dan tinjauan pustaka mengenai konsep keterampilan dasar dalam pengajaran di tingkat sekolah menengah atas atau sederajat. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan dasar mengajar mahasiswa magang dapat terimplementasikan dengan baik, apabila mayoritas dari keterampilan tersebut dapat dilaksanakan secara efektif, mulai dari inisiasi dan terminasi pelajaran hingga kemampuan mengajar kelompok kecil atau perorangan. The study was conducted at SMK Telkom 2 Medan, which is located at Jalan Halat No. 68, Kota Matsum II, Kec. Medan Area, Medan City. The population of this study was all eleventh grade students (hospitality XI-1 andhospitality XI-2), consisting of 22 students. The sample was divided into two classes: the control group, which received instruction through lectures, and the experimental group, which was taught using the synectic model. The result showed that from the analysis of teaching and learning speaking, itcan be concluded that there was an effect of applying the synectics model on the students' speaking skills by using picture media, as evidenced by thet calculation > table (3,323 > 1,682). Untuk itu maka diperlukan penerapan model Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik (PMR) terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X-A MAS Al-Washliyah Gedung Johor Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design, yang dilakukan di sekolah MAS Al-Washliyah Gedung Johor Medan. Dengan sampel yaitu kelas X-A MAS Al-Washliyah Gedung Johor Medan, dengan anggota sampel yaitu 32 siswa dengan menggunakan tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji-t (Paired Sampel T-Test) dengan bantuan SPSS 22. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh empati dan kontrol diri terhadap agresivitas siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Bintang Bayu . Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Adakah pengaruh empati dan kontrol diri terhadap agresivitas siswa kelas XI SMK NEGERI 1 BINTANG BAYU ?. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Bintang Bayu yang berjumlah 50 orang. Sampel diambil keseluruhan jumlah siswa, yaitu sebanyak 50 orang. Data diambil melalui angket empati, kontrol diri dan agresivitas sebanyak 30 item sebelum uji coba, dan setelah uji coba 23 item. Data analisis dengan menggunakan teknik uji persyaratan analisis, dan uji hipotesis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian data yang menggunakan uji hipotesis linier berganda menunjukkan pengujian pertama bahwa nilai sig untuk empati adalah sebesar 0,064 (p > 0,05) maka dari itu hipotesis (H1) ditolak artinya variabel empati tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap agresivitas, selanjutnya untuk variabel kontrol diri, data diatas menunjukkan nilai sig. sebesar 0,046 (p < 0,05) maka dari itu hipotesis (H2) diterima, artinya kontrol diri sangat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap agresivitas. Melalui pengujian kedua hasil analisis data dari nilai sig F sebesar 0,006 ( p < 0,05) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis (H3) diterima, artinya variabel kontrol diri dan empati berpengaruh signifikan secara bersama-sama terhadap agresivitas. The research involved 41 students and used descriptive and statistical techniques to analyze data. Qualitative data was collected from interviews, observations, and documentation, while quantitative data was gathered from students' test results, both orientation and post-test. The results showed that students were enthusiastic and active in the learning process, feeling happy and discussing with each other. They easily mastered vocabulary, which influenced their test results. The statistical analysis showed an increase in students' scores from the orientation test to post-test, with a mean score of 48. The number of students achieving the KKM score also increased. In the orientation test, only 4.9% of students achieved the KKM score, but in the post-test cycle I, 87.8% of students achieved it, and in the post-test cycle II, 100% of students achieved or exceeded the KKM score. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, dosen perlu menentukan sebuah proyek yang memungkinkan mahasiswa menguasai teori dan praktik dalam mata kuliah tersebut yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dan sejauh mana video tutorial buatan mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pengucapan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik purposive sampling diterapkan dan sembilan orang mahasiswa semester I tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dari salah satu sekolah tinggi swasta di Pekanbaru diambil sebagai sampel. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari ujian dan data kualitatif diperoleh dari observasi, checklist, catatan lapangan, dan wawancara. Setelah menganalisis data, ditemukan bahwa video buatan siswa mampu meningkatkan keterampilan pengucapan mahasiswa. Peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa terseut dari level “cukup” menjadi “baik” pada akhir siklus 1. Faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan tersebut adalah proses persiapan dan produksi video yang meningkatkan kemampuan pronunciation mereka, terutama dalam pelafazan akhiran –d /-ed dalam bahasa Inggris. Populasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Miftahussalam secara keseluruhan berjumlah 108 siswa tersebar 3 kelas. Untuk menentukan sampel, peneliti menggunakan teknik sampling random yaitu kelas yang terpilih VIII-A yang berjumlah 36 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII-C yang berjumlah 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa tes essai. Berdasakan analisis data diperoleh kemampuan menelaah pola penyajian dan kebahasaan teks iklan kelompok eksperimen memperoleh nilai akhir di kategori baik sekali karena 15 siswa mendapatkan nilai antara 80-100 (41,67%), dan kelompok kontrol memperoleh nilai akhir di kategori baik sekali karena 14 siswa mendapatkan nilai antara 80-100 (38,89). This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects of class X SMA PAB 5 Klumpang consisted of 25 students. The research object was the students' mathematical abilities using a realistic mathematical approach. Data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman approach. The level of mathematical connection ability of class Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it can be concluded that the research subject is (1) students achieve mathematical connection abilities in the high category and are able to produce all indicators in mathematical connection abilities, namely the ability to connect between mathematical topics/concepts, the ability to connect mathematics with other sciences and the ability Mathematical connections to everyday life.
