Hypercholesterolemia is connected to atherosclerosis disease, which causes the blockage of blood flow. Naringin is a flavonoid primarily found in the citrus family and proved to have various benefits, one of which is antiatherogenic. The article searching was done in PubMed, Wiley Online Library, Cochrane, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar databases. The final three studies about naringin supplementation in animals models are assessed. Naringin had an antiatherogenic effect and decreased the aorta lesion in atherosclerosis by several different mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":106715,"journal":{"name":"Open Access Indonesian Journal of Medical Reviews","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114653379","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the pathophysiology is still uncertain, some factors seem to be involved, such as rapid awakening in an unknown environment, agitation during anesthetic induction, preoperative anxiety, environmental disorders, pre-anesthetic medication, and inhalational anesthetics. There remain unanswered questions and implications related to the emergence of delirium in children. Although we know that there are some predisposing factors to emergence delirium, we still cannot accurately identify those at most significant risk. Emergent delirium should be considered a ‘vital sign,’ which should be followed and documented in every child in the postanaesthesia recovery period. Many people surgically alter their physical appearance with the intent of boosting their social and psychological well-being; however, the long-term effectiveness of aesthetic surgery on improving well-being is unconfirmed. To have successful cosmetic plastic surgery result, it is imperative to assess candidates for predictors of poor outcomes. These include the following factor : psychiatric disorder, demographic factors (male and younger age), relationship issues, unrealistic expectations, previous dissatisfied surgery, and minimal deformity. For psychiatric patients, despite having technically satisfactory cosmetic surgery, poor emotional adjustment and social functioning were seen post procedure. Proper screening and evaluation of these patients could save money and resources. In this brief review we discuss about psychiatric disorder screen on plastic surgery to prevent unwanted outcome. A literature review was conducted in the electronic database PubMed using keyword “Psychiatric Disorder”, “Plastic surgery”, “Prevention” and “Screening”. All type of studies were included for this study, such as controlled trials, systematic reviews, literature reviews, and pilot studies published between 2011 and 2021. Articles which not written in English were excluded from the study. This search resulted in 18 papers. Some patient who undergo cosmetic surgery suffer from underdiagnosed or untreated psychiatric disorder. To avoid unnecessary expense and resource it is advisable that all patient who seek cosmetic procedure undergo psychiatric screen such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, BDDQ and other test to avoid un-necessary expense and resource.","PeriodicalId":106715,"journal":{"name":"Open Access Indonesian Journal of Medical Reviews","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133357117","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dyslipidemia is one of the main factors that cause atherosclerosis caused by coronary heart disease (CHD), stroke, and peripheral vascular disease that is incorporated in cardiovascular disease (PKV). Factors that cause dyslipidemia in Indonesia are people who need foods low in fiber and high fat. Traditional therapy is still one option that is still being taken into account in Indonesia. The use of herbal therapy as a therapy for dyslipidemia can be one way out with the use of Syzygium polyanthum or often known as bay leaf. From several studies reported, bay leaf extract has substance flavonoids, tannins, saponins and vitamins C, B3, A, and E which in some studies have been linked to studies of fat in the body. Based on this, bay leaf can be a potential alternative for the development of dyslipidemia to reduce mortality from cardiovascular disease.","PeriodicalId":106715,"journal":{"name":"Open Access Indonesian Journal of Medical Reviews","volume":"182 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122905329","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Patients with SMI were substantially less liable to have significant medical procedure, in the wake of controlling for age, other segment measures, and illness trouble. For patients of a similar age, sex, race and comorbidity status, having a previous genuine psychological instability passed on a significantly diminished probability of careful mediation. Clinical and careful hospitalizations for people with schizophrenia had in some measure double the chances of a few kinds of unfriendly occasions than those for people without schizophrenia. Burn wound healing are a complicated and highly susceptible to bacterial infection. In traditional medicine, there are various phytochemicals that are used for wound healing supplying enhanced healing process via anti-inflammatory or antioxidant activity. The purpose of this review is to summarize the current knowledge gained in preclinical and clinical studies on topical herbal products with burn wound healing activity.Electronic databases including PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar were searched for articles published from 2014 to the present. Total 480 studies, 199 reports were excluded because of duplication. After examining the full text of the 3 studies against the inclusion criteria. This study found that the topical antimicrobial therapy is one of the most important methods of burn wound care. The ideal antibacterial agent for wound infection prevention and control should directly kill pathogens and reduce local inflammation and tissue destruction by absorbing decay products and improved tissue nutrition. Among various herbal preparations, A. sativum, A. vera, C. asiatica and H. rhamnoides have the best wound healing effects through different mechanisms.","PeriodicalId":106715,"journal":{"name":"Open Access Indonesian Journal of Medical Reviews","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114506668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
