Several standardization organizations are working on different aspects of NGN, such as Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and 3rd Generation Partnership Project. We present the current work and status of each standardization organizations and provide a use-case type example of the use, benefits and relations of the NGN research. Simulation results show the feasibility of this technique. This evolution will permit the transmission of data with packet mode at 10 Mb/s. In such a context, the quality of the transmission is degraded due to inter symbol interference, inter channel interference and the proximity of the constellation points. In order to improve the quality of service in HSDPA, it is necessary to reduce the inter symbol and inter channel interferences. In the setting of this work we compare between complexity and performances of two HSDPA receiver, MPIC receiver and linear chip equalizer. For each signed contract, the network administrator defines the type of protection (1:1, 1+1 or l:n) through service classes (gold, silver, bronze). However, the pre-planned backup routes can be inadequate to guarantee the SLA (service level agreement). In case of failure, there is no way to guarantee that the choosen protection route will meet the client requirements. This has been shown for systems operating at 10 Gbps with a nonreturn-to-zero (NRZ) modulation format. The transmission system has been built using standard transmitters and receivers operating at wavelength of 1550 nm with a standard single mode fiber. Performance of improved detected signal has been evaluated via the analysis of quality factor obtained from the detected eye diagrams and the computation of bit error rate. Numerical simulations have shown a noticeable improvement of the system bit error rate (BER) after a post processing operation on the received signal. An average factor around 30% increase in the fiber span for a BER 10\" is reported. Obtaining a new care-of-address (CoA) and building a tunnel for packet forwarding make the fast handover scheme be able to reduce packet loss and handover latency. However, the performance of the fast handover scheme will be downgraded if a MN fails to finish the handover preparation before it disconnects. In this paper, we propose a reactive tunneling (RT) scheme to resolve the aforementioned problems. In the proposed RT scheme, MN can obtain a new Co A in advance and a tunnel is built with less overhead. In these networks, we distinguish two types of blocking, the new-call blocking, which concerns the initial call establishment request, and the handoffcall blocking, due to the users' mobility from one cell to the other. To analyze the system, we describe it by a Discrete Time Markov Chain, and based on it, we derive a recursive formula for the calculation of the state probabilities. Consequently, the new-call blocking probabilities and the handoffcall blocking probabilities are determined. To evaluate the proposed formulas, the analytical results are compared with simulation results. Recently, most papers elaborate on architectures or mechanisms for designing reputation service and resource selection. The presence of inaccurate testimonies and malicious referrers is necessary to be considered. Based on D-S evidence theory, guided by rating reliability in psychology, the proposed approach can filter out dishonest feedbacks and respects entity's rating habits at the same time. Experiments show the cost of calculation is low. The multitude of different kind of operators and access networks can provide access at any time irrespective of location. However, it will be less likely that every player has pre-established relationships with all the parties. Thus, there is a need for measures that allow the users to securely connect to previously unknown networks and still have the assurance of the home network for the service provisioning. In this paper we describe an architecture, which aims to secure the initial connectivity and the interaction between the involved parties by employing cryptographic identities in a roaming scenario, where the access and home operator have no pre-established agreement. In this article, a new concept looks for the integration among P2P and programmable networks. The originality of this work lives in the total convergence of networks P2P and programmable networks, with the objective of rendering service providers the ability to quickly create and provide new and customized services in response to market demand.
