This is false perception. In fact developed countries are following Islamic principles unknowingly in all the areas of development; Islamic principles of rule of law, justice, honesty, integrity, research and knowledge learning, development and application. Developed countries and corruption ridden Muslim countries are self harming in all those areas where they are not following Islamic principles; resource intensive hedonism, predatory economic and financial policies, corruption, fraud, injustice, prejudice and selective exploitation of people. Latest development in many developed countries is adoption of prohibition of smoking in public places and this is also based on Islamic principle of avoiding greater harm. So Islam is an essential aspect of humanity’s existence. It teaches us how to conduct ourselves in all aspects of life in a morally and legally upright manner. Islam created a well-defined system of laws governing moral behavior, civil and political rights, social issues and rights, marriage and divorce laws, inheritance rights, and all other matters we deal with daily. It serves as a guide to life in all its facets and is not just for the mosque. Since Islam is logical and rational, it keeps a Muslim free from confusion of any kind. These are some of the main points raised in the paper regarding how Islam is a comprehensive, functional, and practical code of life. Nine major relevant and significant fields have been discussed: the Islamic political system, law and legal system, Jihad, economic system, education system, marriage and family, Islamic society, the mindset, and the hijab. The discussion is analytical and comparative addressing secular ideologies based on Islamic texts and social sciences. The paper establishes that the Islamic system is the alternative system that can replace secular ideologies. This paper has been summarized from a broader and larger discussion of the same topic.\u0000","PeriodicalId":104394,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Education, Culture and Society","volume":"153 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141388644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Focusing on the educational impact within this context, the study examines the relationship between student stress and faculty engagement. Employing both Pearson correlation analysis and two-way ANOVA, the investigation provides insights into how faculty availability correlates with student stress in a politically tense environment. Key findings indicate concerns for what is known as the Pygmalion effect and underscore the need for support services that address the unique socio-political challenges. Thus, an impetus for an examination of student engagement practices, emphasizing the importance of faculty interaction in crisis-affected zones. The exegesis underscores the role of institutional support, urging educational authorities to enhance faculty management tailored to the multicultural and politically sensitive context of international education. From which, it advocates for empathy and a broader understanding of how postcolonial and post-dictatorial dynamics affect higher education. These images, drawn from nature, mythology, history, and daily life, allow poets to create rich and layered meanings that resonate with readers across time and culture. The use of metaphorical images in Tang poetry reflects the deep poetic tradition and artistic sensibility of Chinese literature. Translating metaphorical images from Tang poetry into English poses a unique challenge for translators due to the cultural and linguistic differences between the two languages. However, this challenge also presents an opportunity for translators to exercise creativity and interpretation in conveying the essence of the original poems. By carefully selecting appropriate English equivalents for the metaphorical images, translators can capture the beauty and complexity of Tang poetry for English-speaking audiences. Through a comparative analysis of translation strategies employed in representative cases of Tang poetry, this paper combines case study and corpus analysis methods to explore the concept and function of metaphorical images in Tang poetry, analyzes the possibility and importance of its English translation, and provides a comparative analysis of translation strategies for metaphorical images using representative cases of Tang poetry translation. It reveals the rationality and fidelity of translating metaphorical images.\u0000","PeriodicalId":104394,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Education, Culture and Society","volume":"357 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140227843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Careful planning, monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance processes like internal and external critical review, ethics, and copyright approval are necessary to ensure the effectiveness of learning materials. The study aimed to assess the quality assurance process of educational materials in Tanzania. The study employed a qualitative research approach, and data were gathered through the literature review. The United Republic of Tanzania's education and training policies, curriculum framework for basic and teacher education, basic, secondary, and teacher education quality assurance framework, and other related materials were consulted as the primary data sources. Content analysis of data was used to come up with a clear interpretation of information and a conclusion of the results. The finding shows that the Tanzania Education Policy talks about quality education and needs to give a straightforward guide on developing quality assurance tools for implementing the policy. The study found that the Tanzania Institute of Education has an excellent and well-organised guideline for the educational materials quality assurance process that can be adopted and included in the policy. The study recommends the inclusion of statements directing the quality assurance of educational materials in the education policy. Also, the study suggests requiring teachers to be included and involve student teachers in quality assurance since they are the critical implementers and users of educational materials.","PeriodicalId":104394,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Education, Culture and Society","volume":"79 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140445428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
