The basis for the preparation of such binders is the use of finely divided mineral additives of natural and man-made origin. Particular attention is paid to the aggregate, the strength of coarse aggregate should be at least 20% higher than the strength of concrete, and the maximum particle size should not exceed 8–20 mm. To date, considerable experience has been gained in the production of multicomponent binders, and the results of the research carried out in this direction have shown that the raw material potential of the republic allows obtain high-quality concrete of class B 30-40. As if to expand the geography of natural resources regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, it is possible to obtain concrete of higher strength.","PeriodicalId":103378,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Symposium \"Engineering and Earth Sciences: Applied and Fundamental Research\" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of H.I. Evaluation of the moistening mode showed that an increase in the water volume is caused by an increasing amount of precipitation. The factor determining variability of the annual river flow is precipitation in the warm period of the previous year. The degree of susceptibility of the river landscapes to various changes was assessed. Permafrost, climatic and biological indicators (ice content of surface sediments, temperature of frozen rocks, biological productivity, conditions of heat supply and moisture) were taken into account. It was determined that tundra and northern taiga lake-thermocarstic landscapes are susceptible to anthropogenic effects.","PeriodicalId":103378,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Symposium \"Engineering and Earth Sciences: Applied and Fundamental Research\" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of H.I. The interaction of finely dispersed crushed claydite powder with a bituminous binder was studied. Efficiency of the use of expanded clay powder as a stabilizing additive for macadam mastic asphalt concrete was identified. It was revealed that modification of MMAC with expanded clay powder increases strength properties, heat resistance and water resistance of a bituminous mineral material. The effect of highly dispersed porous mineral powder on a steady increase in crack resistance, frost resistance and shear resistance of MMAC was identified. While studying rheological characteristics of crushed stone-mastic asphalt concrete, it was revealed that the structure of the modified MMAC provides maximum rigidity, triaxial compression and shear, maximum flexibility and high deformability of the coating of the material","PeriodicalId":103378,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Symposium \"Engineering and Earth Sciences: Applied and Fundamental Research\" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of H.I. The analysis showed that the ecological condition of the air basin meets the sanitary requirements. The concentration of the main air pollutants does not exceed acceptable standards. Background radiation is normal, while mercury vapor is absent. Over the past decade, a decrease in the concentration of petroleum products in the soil and water bodies can be clearly seen. Their load does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). The study of the Terek and Sunzha water revealed a relatively low content of pollutants (chlorides, sulphates, total hardness, permanganate oxidation) in the samples and a high level of dissolved oxygen of 5.8 mgO2/dm and 6.3 mgO2/dm, which indicates good water quality.","PeriodicalId":103378,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Symposium \"Engineering and Earth Sciences: Applied and Fundamental Research\" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of H.I. It involves seasonal changes in heat exchange conditions on the surface as well as cyclical changes in the temperature of the transported gas. The mathematical formulation for dynamics of two-dimensional temperature field in soil mass is made based on general formulation of Stefan problems. The process of heat exchange of soils mass with a gas pipeline and outside ambient air is described by the differential heat equation that describes the distribution of heat in water-saturated soil and takes into account “water-ice” phase transition. Based on the results of the computational experiment, melting and freezing halos and soil base temperature in the selected section of the gas pipeline were determined. These values are necessary to determine deformations of soil base, which characterize its spatial stability and strength to precipitate or ascent phenomena. The paper provides measures for engineering protection of the pipeline.","PeriodicalId":103378,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the International Symposium \"Engineering and Earth Sciences: Applied and Fundamental Research\" dedicated to the 85th anniversary of H.I.
