To determine certain areas of tourism at the level of profile world organizations, the question of unification of the basic terms and their derivatives arrises, which are supposed to coordinate different national positions. From this points, it is relevant to popularize the modern studies of UNWTO and ETC in this area. \u0000Today one of the trend areas of tourism should be considered health-therapeutic tourism, which has long-standing tradition in Europe and the corresponding resource base in the regions of Ukraine. The current issue of modern research should be considered studying the state of health-therapeutic tourism functioning of at the level of regional areas, where this direction of tourism is not considered profile. The tool of study is the assessment of the statistical indicators of occupancy of the corresponding institutions during 2000-2016, as well as an analysis of the potential capabilities of the respective nuclei of health-therapeutic recreation. The existing resource base is not sufficiently used and is characterized by low infrastructure availability. The study analyzed the potential directions of treatment and recreation provided by such centers, but at the same time, there is a low informativeness about the activities of other health facilities (sanatoria-preventorium, recreation centers, children’s sanatoria, etc.), their capacity and potential for reception of tourists. Also, the current issue is the modernization of existing health-therapeutic facilities in order to bring them to European standards and the corresponding growth of visitors. \u0000The diagrams analyze the dynamics of interest to the therapeutic area in the Ternopil region. \u0000The conducted researches confirm the opinion that health-therapeutic tourism is a promising direction of tourism development in the region, which is facilitated by available medical resources and natural conditions, which are similar in their indicators to the leading regional areas of Ukraine with the development of health-therapeutic tourism.","PeriodicalId":103323,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Bulletin of Kherson State University. {"title":"AGE POPULATION STRUCTURE OF THE KYIV AREA: EXPERIMENTAL SPACE TYPIZATION","authors":"О.В. Already, in some sectors of the economy there are new facts for Ukraine of shortages of labor resources. The basis of this phenomenon, besides economic factors, is the deterioration of the age structure of the population, which determines the presence and qualitative parameters of labor resources by its structure. \u0000In modern scientific literature devoted to issues of labor resources and labor markets, a great deal of attention is paid to the analysis of demographic factors. Most authors recognize the decisive role of the age structure of the population in the formation of specific regional labor markets. The age structure of the population serves as the factual basis for forecasting the provision of labor resources of the region and the country. \u0000Cluster analysis allowed distinguishing in the Kyiv region a significant spatial differentiation of the age structure of the population. \u0000The differentiation of the age structure of the population of the administrative units of the Kyiv region allowed us to distinguish between two types that differ significantly in the ratio of the main age groups. \u0000The first type, which predominantly forms the periphery of the Kyiv region, is characterized by a high percentage of the population of the older age group, low share of children and working age population. \u0000The second type was formed around Kiev and has a relatively young population structure, with a high proportion of children (on the background of the Kiev region as a whole) and people of working age. Part of administrative units of the second type can be attributed to the transition group between the components of the first and second types. \u0000Spatial analysis shows centrifugal, centripetal, peripheral trends in the deteriorated age structure of the population. The main geographic vector of deterioration is observed from Kyiv to the periphery of the region. The purpose of the article was quantitative and qualitative assessment of social and geographical characteristics of female entrepreneurship in Ukraine, identification of the features of the Ukrainian business woman and the factors under which they are formed, also a description of the problems that accompany the development of this type of women activity. The article assesses the scale of female entrepreneurship in Ukraine. Just as in men, it is considerably inferior to hired labor. In general, gender gaps in the number of entrepreneurs in general and in regions are estimated to be small. It has been established that women have a greater presence in the small business, industries and types of economic activity, which fit into the social roles of the traditional society. The degree of activity of women in social entrepreneurship is determined. In this type of entrepreneurial activity, women are not much inferior to men, but also choose traditional for Ukrainian society activities. The factors influencing the formation of the women’s entrepreneurship initiative in Ukraine can be divided into two groups: transformational and socio-cultural. A special role in the latter is given to the features of the national character and stereotypes that have emerged in Ukrainian society. The social portrait of the Ukrainian business lady, which is formed under the influence of the above-mentioned factors, is quite controversial and has both positive and negative features. Some of them can be a serious obstacle to women coming to business and confident in staying there. The range of problems that accompany the development of female entrepreneurship in Ukraine is outlined. Some of them apply to all entrepreneurs, others apply to women only. Many of the latter are generated by a closer link between business and private life in women. The article used such methods as analysis, generalization, systematization, the method of analysis of interconnections and interdependencies, comparative-geographical, and mathematical. The article considers the main parameters of rural settlement at the regional level (average population of the village, average population of the village council, population density). Analyzed indicators of the system of quantitative parameters of geographical analysis of the process of formation of united territorial communities at the regional level, the administrative coefficient of association, coefficient of population unification, territorial coefficient. The correlation analysis method establishes the link between the quantitative parameters of rural settlement and the process of formation of the united territorial communities. The direct moderate connection between the settlement “Average population of the village council” and all quantitative parameters of the process of formation of the united territorial communities is determined. A grouping of districts of the Kherson region was carried out on the quantitative parameters of geographical analysis of the process of formation of united territorial communities. The main factors influencing the association of territorial communities, which, in our opinion, are: the geographical factors; cultural factors; ethnic factors; historical factors; personality factor; capacity factor; financial capacity of the budgets of territorial communities; the influence of local authorities. A grouping of the districts of Kherson oblast has been carried out on the quantitative parameters of the process of formation of the combined territorial communities at the oblast level, namely, on the modified coefficients of the territorial concentration: the administrative coefficient of the association, the coefficient of population unification and the territorial coefficient of the association. These are the following stages: pre-industrial, industrial, and post-industrial, usually transitional periods occur between the above-mentioned stages. At the moment, there are no cities that would be at the pre-industrial stage of growth. Most of the world's cities are industrial, or those that are at the stage of transition to post-industrial. It is up to the last and belongs to Kharkiv. As a city that was a powerful industrial center, in modern conditions, Kharkiv is at the transformational stage to the post-industrial city. The main factor that contributes to this is undoubtedly economic, which has different manifestations: from the simple decline of individual industries, to the development of modern scientific and IT activities. \u0000Cities are an extremely important form of spatial organization, developing and deepening their functions in the process of evolution, rapidly changing the face of the planet and generating many new and new problems of society and civilization in general. Modern cities are a combination of history, culture, industry and social goods, to meet any needs of modern society. In the history of its existence, most cities in the world have been transformed from the banal place of residence of the population, which had more socially attractive conditions of existence, to the poles of the territory. A modern city is a city that has a great heritage from the industrial age and dynamically develops in the post-industrial period, which sets other rhythms of life, rethinking values that affect the development of man and space. \u0000Kharkiv is a typical Ukrainian and Eastern European city that, having a significant industrial heritage, is at the stage of transition to post-industrial development. {"title":"INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES ON THE GENESIS OF TERRITORIAL-POLITICAL CONTRADICTIONS R.R. Slyvka","authors":"R. The article assesses a variety of scientific approaches to explaining the impact of environmental change on the emergence and spread of conflicts. It is advisable to identify three groups of factors for the development of socio-geographical processes: 1) preconditions; 2) managerial factors; 3) factors of self-organization. The category of preconditions characterizes the external factors of the development of territorial-political conflicts, that is, the environment. There are two main territorial contradictions associated with natural environmental conditions: 1) due to the complexity of delimitation and demarcation of boundaries along natural objects; 2) caused by the change of natural conditions and the related interpretation of the line of existing boundary. The analysis of databases on border conflicts makes it possible to conclude that the emergence of territorial contradictions is facilitated by the following environmental changes: 1) river channel processes (meandering, accumulation and disappearance of river islands, displacement of talves, emergence and disappearance of ducts); 2) warming of the Earth's climate: 2.1 sea level rise; 2.2 reduction of ice cover of the Arctic Ocean and Antarctica; 2.3 melting of mountain glaciers; 2.4 droughts and desertification in the hot belt of Earth; 3) unpredictable natural disasters (tsunami, tropical cyclones). The main manifestations of territorial contradictions caused by such influence are determined. However, worsening environmental problems will spur nations sensitivity to the problem of territorial losses. As for internal conflicts, the change in natural conditions creates favourable conditions for the growth of contradictions between social groups and may result in conflicting relationships. To the greatest extent this will be the case with marginalized social groups and regions where the capacity to adapt to environmental change is limited. Under conditions of the reformation of agricultural production and the reform of land relations, there are two opposing standpoints: an economic one that implies the production of maximum possible amount of agricultural produce and an ecological one according to which the protection of soil surface against degradation is of priority. \u0000The situation in Luhansk region in war years makes us review the whole structure of the regional economy by optimizing the structure of land use, particularly in the sphere of agrarian production. \u0000The situation in the agro-sphere of Luhansk region has reached a critical state: the areas of eroded lands are growing as well as the areas of salty, alkalized soils, waterlogged and man-made polluted soils, resulting in the land degradation. Therefore it is quite obvious that there is an urgent need to restructure agricultural land fund that conforms with one of the aspects of the land reform that was initiated after the restoration of the independence of Ukraine. \u0000It is necessary to review the structure of cultivated areas to the advantage of erosion resistant agricultural state of the soil. The most erodible areas are those under black fallow and cultivated crops, therefore it is necessary to regulate the structure of cultivated lands taking into account natural conditions. \u0000The most essential ways of optimization of agricultural land use in Luhansk region that will provide the improvement of the fertility of soils with a different state of erosion are soil protecting treatment, phytomelioration, irrigating melioration, contour organization of the territory and other agro-technical measures. \u0000The lands, that should be removed from intensive usage, may and should perform new social-economic and ecological functions, that is serve as forage grasslands, recreation and natural reserves, etc. \u0000Along with that, it is reasonable to recover some traditional but unduly forgotten branches of agriculture in Luhansk region (horse-raising, bee-keeping, fishing) and at the same time to refuse from pursuing high yield at any cost. The proposed structural model of the main types of recreational and tourist resources, the structure of the natural resource potential of Ukraine, as well as a block diagram of recreational and tourist resources as a component of inclusive rehabilitation and social tourism (ETIM).The connection of existing types of rehabilitation, corresponding to modern trends in the development of society, with a variety of natural-recreational and tourist potential, which allows for the development of a unified state system of medical and social protection in the framework of maintaining the physical and psychological health of the population in Ukraine, including people with disabilities. \u0000One of the most studied components of rehabilitation is the recreational and tourist resources of Ukraine as objects and phenomena of natural, natural-anthropogenic, socio-economic origin used for tourism, treatment, rehabilitation and affect the territorial organization of recreational activities, the formation of recreational areas (centers, zones) their specialization and economic efficiency. \u0000The natural resource potential in this article is considered as a combination of all the possibilities, funds, reserves, sources that can be mobilized, used to achieve a certain goal. Over the past years, the state has achieved significant success in the study of natural resources: factual information has been collected on the volumes, location and characteristics of individual species and deposits, the experience of economic use has been summarized, and the laws of territorial organizations have been studied.
