A qualitative exploratory study was conducted, involving eight SMEs on an e-commerce platform in Ghana. The findings show that digital transformation among SMEs follows a four-stage process of digital technology initiation, changes to functions and processes, management of the resulting skills gap, and a strategic shift, which is also driven by managerial cognition, social capital development, human capital development, and organizational capacity building. These findings resulted in an inductively-derived process framework for the digital transformation of SMEs that expands the knowledge and understanding of digital transformation for SMEs. The study also provides users of digital platforms with dynamic managerial capability strategies for achieving digital transformation and effective e-commerce platform utilization in developing economies, which are essential for research, practice, and policy.","PeriodicalId":102199,"journal":{"name":"Int. The case study involved 332 students grouped into 104 projects, developed as a part of the degree in management at the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra for ten years. The study is qualitative and quantitative and shows that 97.1% of the projects were based on customer needs. The method of teaching students was to guide them to effectuation, implying the application of the contingency model to teach the business plan. However, only 28.4% of the students in the sample indicated an increase in awareness for entrepreneurship and 20.9% stated that learning how to prepare the plan would be useful in the future.","PeriodicalId":102199,"journal":{"name":"Int. Researchers and professionals are provided with concepts and current research into the field of e-governance and in fostering e-business concepts in an entrepreneurial environment. The authors investigated e-government initiatives in a modern, technological environment, exploring both benefits and challenges due to various technical, organizational, social, and contextual factors. Interactions between political/state decision makers and entrepreneurs were studied to develop e-business and e-entrepreneurship concepts in a digital economy. As businesses and state institutions use information and digital technologies for development and functioning, there is a need to develop and understand the main criteria of effectiveness of state digital resources and e-governance as a whole. Based on an empirical study, the researchers propose a system of assessing the quality of electronic resources for entrepreneurship.","PeriodicalId":102199,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. The medicine production companies are known as pharmaceutical companies; reserve the different kinds of drug stocks to be supplied to their partners. It is investigated that presently, the patient deaths are hiked due to the delay in drug delivery to hospitals by pharmaceutical companies. It became necessary for pharmaceutical companies to map own supply chain practices, so that the death cases of patients can be eliminated. Pharmaceutical companies are seeking the decision support model with computing technique, which can improve their future performance. The authors propose a model which includes sustainable practices i.e., green, agile, resilient, flexible delivery of medicines. This proposal model is value-added with a weak and strong sustainable practices identification technique. This research deals with an application of a fuzzy-based Incentre of Centroid technique on proposed sustainability and is an assessment model for identifying the ill and strong chief indices, so that pharmaceutical companies can improve performance. An empirical research case of a pharmaceutical firm is presented to exhibit the real-life application of the research work.","PeriodicalId":102199,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. The Internet of Things comprises of such devices, which are laid in the form of communicating network around the agricultural setting for obtaining information. The current study aims to review prior studies based on the usage of IoT in sustainable agricultural supply chain management. A literature review has been conducted by using selected studies from reputed journals. It has been found that IoT applications in the sustainable agricultural supply chain and is currently under a nascent stage in developing countries. This is due to influence of multiple barriers, which poses serious problems, and therefore it is imperative for agricultural scientists and managers to understand the interrelationships. Farm managers, research scientists, and policy makers must aim to remove the barriers for achieving sustainability in agricultural supply chain management. The study is unique, first, in terms of scope of study; second, it identifies and categorizes the barriers to IoT application in agricultural supply chain; and third, it proposes a conceptual framework with research propositions and finally provides food for thought to the research community.","PeriodicalId":102199,"journal":{"name":"Int.
