In this paper, we examined prediction stability of simple learning set of rules classifier under the k-fold cross validation. We described a class of rules that can pass the k-fold cross validation with zero or a very low variance in accuracy of prediction. The lossless prediction of correct/incorrect assignment distribution theorem, given by the so-called k-fold stable rules, is established, and its implications are discussed and applied in the experiments.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"235 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115226773","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context the Single Euro Payments Area Direct Debit (SDD) service is gaining more and more importance since it has been promoted by the European banking industry as an innovative payment infrastructure. This service allows to perform electronic payments across the Euro zone as simple as domestic payments currently are. This schema facilitates the access to new markets by enterprises and reduces the overall cost to move capitals in Europe, but the other side of the coin is that it is the only financial system that has recorded an increase in the number of frauds, as highlighted by European Central Bank in a report dated 2015. In this paper SDD service attack patterns are analysed and a SDD fraud detection system based on multi-sensor data fusion is presented. Specifically, the Dempster-Shafer Theory is used in the proposed system to correlate security-relevant data from multiple information sources in order to detect anomalous behaviours that could be the evidence of an ongoing SDD fraud.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124352673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These participants themselves do not benefit from the behavior, while it reduces the utilities of other participants. Besides, this behavior will reduce the efficiency of the protocols. In this paper, a novel rational fair exchange protocol is proposed based on the reputation system. The computation of the reputation is completed by the third party, which reduces the computation work of the participants. The rational participants who get higher reputation in our protocol will obtain more utilities. The protocol can deal with the problem above because rational participants always hope to improve their utilities. Compared with other existing protocols, our protocol needs only one round. Furthermore, we prove that our protocol is rational fair.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128530704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But the mechanism of centrality-lethality rule is still an intriguing problem in systems biology. There are also many low-connectivity proteins in the PPI network with lethality. In order to explain the reason that low-connectivity proteins are essential, we present three indexes to measure biological features of low-connectivity essential proteins. We compared low-and high-connectivity essential proteins in centrality measures, the appearance in protein complexes, their relationship among neighborhood, functional modularity and so on. Our analysis confirms there are many essential proteins with low-connectivity in PPI networks. They have different properties to high-connectivity essential proteins, which could be used in determining whether the unclassified proteins are essential or not.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127223118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper I propose a novel algorithm that enables real time terrain calculation even on a very large world map. An algorithm uses approach based on attraction force calculation and uses gradient methods combined with fast approximation of Gaussian filter and fast implementation of median filtration. With such an approach it is possible to fast adapt and rebuild the virtual world taking into account every nuance that happened during play. Due to this a player has the feeling of control and influence of his or her deeds to overall game which is very important aspect of every role-playing scenario. Because single iteration of an algorithm last about 176.01 ± 12.57 milliseconds (in frequency nearly 6 Hz for large 256×256 grids) the resulting map might be adjusted dynamically during game and a player might be aware of it. This size of a grid is sufficient for simulation very large virtual world that typically appears in role-playing games.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130479625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

TCP with network coding (TCP/NC) is expected to recover the lost packets without retransmission at the sink by sending the redundant combination packets which are encoded at the source. While TCP/NC can work in theory, two problems have not been well solved especially in time-varying packet loss conditions. One is how to decide the good parameters (e.g., redundancy factor R) based on a recent network condition estimated from continuous observation. The other one is how to dynamically adapt an ongoing NC-layer process based on the decided parameters. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a functionally improved TCP/NC variant called the TCP/NC with loss rate estimation (TCP/NCwLRE) which can automatically adjust the NC-layer behaviors to adapt to time-varying channels. We implemented and validated our proposal in Network Simulator 3. The results show that the TCP/NCwLRE improves the TCP goodputs in time-varying non-correlated random loss channels.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131231739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, using RFID to locate objects indoor is a hot topic in the research on the application of RFID. In this paper, we propose an RFID system based on RFID technology and Wi-Fi wireless communication technology. And we design a corresponding handheld device client software to realize a visual book search and management system. This system can not only greatly improve the efficiency of book search and management but also save the manpower and material resources to a large extent, which has a practical application value.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131275003","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Do I have the skills needed for the new challenges of the society? What knowledge do I lack to qualify for a job I like? What universities can I address to get knowledge that improves my employment expectations? These are relevant questions that an employee has done in any moment of their life. In addition, when there are high rates of unemployment and job offers that keep deserted, the answers to these questions are even more relevant, since they open new opportunities for unemployed people. This paper proposes a system that helps people by showing what are the required knowledge and skills a person misses for a given job position and what courses the person can take in order to acquire such skills and knowledge. The system has been implemented as a recommender system that helps users in planning their life-long learning. The paper shows the architecture of the proposed system, a case study to explain how it works and some conclusions after its first experimentation.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131637789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Price of Unfairness 不公平的代价

The extremity of such measures should match with an intuitive concept of an unfair allocation. To achieve a computational model for unfairness, various fairness models are extended to cover a related meaning of unfairness as well. In addition to the lexicographic maxmax relation, a model based on exponential utilities is introduced. Furthermore, a new mean, the symmetric Lehmer mean is identified as being able to favour allocations restricted to a subset of users only. Case examples of network flow control problems show feasibility of the proposed unfairness measures, as well as specific differences. Especially the symmetric Lehmer mean appears capable to handle unfairness in a much more nuanced way, while lexicographic maxmax appears as the computationally most convenient and also most intuitive measure. In all cases it can be shown that unfair allocations are not always efficient and that there is a price of unfairness as well.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132936976","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper we present the results of a survey we conducted to determine the analytical level of educational organizations and how it differs from the analytical level of non-educational organizations. In order to do so, we have used the DELTA model to measure the analytical maturity of over 100 organizations, from which around 15% are educational. The aim of the paper is to provide background information on the current state of analytics and further steps.","PeriodicalId":102056,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Intelligent Networking and Collaborative Systems (INCoS)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134256786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
