Complete and electronically available randomized controlled clinical trial articles, without language or date restrictions, involving technologies for healthy lifestyles in people with HIV over 18 years of age were included. Studies involving children, adolescents, pregnant women and repeated articles were excluded. The Risk-of-Bias Tool for Randomized Trials and the Assessment of Multiple Systematic Reviews were used to assess bias and review quality.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>A total of 2,933 articles were identified and eight were selected. The technologies were mobile applications, booklets, motivational interviewing and telephone interventions, focusing on self-care, antiretroviral adherence, stress management, fatigue and depression, and encouraging reduction in smoking, alcohol and drug use.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The technologies were classified as soft-hard and hard, and improved the lifestyle of people with HIV. Eight databases were searched for published and gray literature. Studies published in Portuguese, English or Spanish since 2000 were included to capture emerging training programs.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Of the 1,106 studies identified, 29 were reviewed in full and eight were included in the final analysis. All studies were carried out in the United States of America. Program topics included chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, procedures, as well as emergency situations, all aimed at school nurses and based on a conceptual or pedagogical framework. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α and interleukin-6 at 3 d after nursing dropped in the two groups in comparison to those before nursing, and they were lower in the observation group than those in the control group (P < 0.05). {"title":"Sexual relationship power, intimate partner violence and dyadic adjustment during pregnancy and affecting factors.","authors":"Melek Balçık Çolak, Bihter Akın, Yasemin Erkal Aksoy","doi":"10.1590/1980-220X-REEUSP-2025-0019en","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1590/1980-220X-REEUSP-2025-0019en","url":null,"abstract":"<p><strong>Objective: </strong>This study was conducted to investigate issues such as sexual relationship power, intimate partner violence and dyadic adjustment during pregnancy and affecting factors.</p><p><strong>Methods: </strong>The study data were collected by administering the Pregnant Women Information Form, Sexual Relationship Power Scale (SRPS), Intimate Partner Violence Attitude Scale (IPVAS)-Revised and Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (RDAS).</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The mean scores the participating pregnant women obtained from the overall SRPS, IPVAS - Revised and RDAS were 3.06 ± 0.48, 49.03 ± 12.03 and 54.49 ± 8.17, respectively. While sexual relationship power was positively correlated with dyadic adjustment, intimate partner violence was negatively associated with dyadic adjustment. Factors influencing SRPS scores were education level, employment status, husband's alcohol use, and exposure to physical violence. Factors affecting dyadic adjustment were husband's education level, occupation, pregnancy trimester, number of pregnancies, sexual relationship power, and intimate partner violence attitudes.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>While the husbands' characteristics such as education and profession affected the dyadic adjustment, the pregnant women's attitudes towards dominance in sexual life and violence in the intimate relationships were the predictors of the dyadic adjustment. It was completed with 217 mothers who gave birth in a hospital in Turquía between May 2023 and December 2023. Data were collected using Breastfeeding Self-efficacy Scale, and LATCH assessment tool. Breastfeeding education was given to mothers before discharge. Breastfeeding self-efficacy was re-evaluated on the phone four weeks after discharge.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The mean LATCH score among mothers was 9,2 ± 1.3 (min = 3, max = 10). Higher LATCH scores were observed in mothers with primary or secondary education, those who were unemployed, had four or more pregnancies and children, breastfed within the first hour, and had prior breastfeeding experience before discharge. Mothers with breastfeeding experience and those with four pregnancies and three children had higher breastfeeding self-efficacy scores before discharge. Four weeks after discharge was given to mothers, the mean breastfeeding self-efficacy score increased significantly from 58,9 ± 6,7 to 68,4 ± 1,9. A statistically significant improvement in breastfeeding self-efficacy was observed only among mothers with prior breastfeeding experience four weeks after discharge.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Regular breastfeeding education in the early postpartum period is crucial, particularly for young, primiparous mothers with higher education levels, those who are employed, with a history of cesarean deliveries, or lack of prior breastfeeding experience. The research question was developed based on the acronym PCC (Population/Concept/Context), resulting in the following formulation: \"Which tools available in the literature assess wound infections?\"</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The analysis included 32 wound infection assessment tools. Of these, 26 using clinical signs and symptoms of infection distributed across scales, checklists, classification systems, and completion forms were identified. Data collection was done through an electronic questionnaire applied between February and May 2023, composed of questions about socio-professional and performance characteristics. The data were organized by lexicographic analysis by IRAMUTEQ, analyzed from the perspective of Bardin's content analysis.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Fifty-five experts who worked in the five Brazilian regions participated, with the largest participation from the Northeast and Southeast regions, both with 41.8% of professionals. The majority reported being women, white, mostly married or in a stable union. From the association of classes presented in the dendrogram generated by IRAMUTEQ, five categories related to the Descending Hierarchical Classification lexical terms were generated: 1) Creation of forensic nursing and its political development in national territory; 2) Establishment of environments for forensic nursing practice according to national/cultural reality; 3) Already established competencies of Brazilian forensic nursing; 4) Paths to success in Brazilian forensic nursing; and 5) Perspectives for Brazilian forensic nursing.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The study allowed contextualizing the current scenario of Brazilian forensic nursing. The results revealed violence as the focus of the actions developed by the specialty. A questionnaire and semi-structured interviews were used, which were recorded and transcribed, and analyzed by content analysis. The findings were discussed with five principles of institutional analysis, such as instituted, instituting, institutionalization, implication and over-implication.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Eighteen people participated in the interviews, and data analysis enabled the construction of four classes: i) Gender stereotypes in the social context; ii) Physical interventions and their contexts; iii) Personal and social experiences and relationships with healthcare professionals; iv) Suffering related to passability.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>There is no dissociation between social and personal influences in the transition process. They hope that gender-affirming procedures will reduce dysphoria and promote harmony between self-perception and hetero-perception. The acquired passability can strengthen the ability to deal with violence. The search took place in October 2023, with studies published in full in Portuguese, English or Spanish, without time limits and indexed in databases and portals of theses and dissertations. Two reviewers read the title and abstract of the studies and exported the data to a Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet for grouping and removing duplicates. Data synthesis was done in written and visual form, using diagrams.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The search resulted in 961 studies, with 38 being eligible to compose the sample. Women aged 18 to 49 who had prenatal care up to two years prior to the survey (1,851 in 2013 and 2,819 in 2019) were studied. Prevalence rates were estimated with their 95% Confidence Intervals for the different guidelines.
