Our research has shown internal stabilization is the solution to eliminate oxidation problems in oils and fats, and thus can be an asset in designing foods. Thus, high incorporation of ω3 will be possible eliminating oxidation values and create intact lipids. Our internal stabilized Nutarian with very low ω6/ω3 ratio (0.5) will help to correct ω6/ω3 ratio in foods with extremely high stability. a) ω6/ω3 ratio and oxidative stability are major factors to consider usage of polyunsaturated fatty acid oils in all foods, especially in bakery products. b) ratio achieved Internal of eliminating oxidation problems with natural/organic ingredients.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-07-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41730381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The remedy is to pool the population samples into pools and test each pool for the presence of a trait. There is loss of sensitivity in pooling strategies especially in the presence of inspection errors, and to recover some lost sensitivity is through re-testing pools classified as positive as proposed by Monzon et al. [1]. Pool testing with retesting entails testing the pools, and pools that are classified as positive are retested be-fore being classified as either positive or negative. This study develops a statistical pool-testing model with retesting based on Monzon et al. [1]. Retesting strategy and generalizes it to multi-stage retesting model. The multistage model improves the efficiency of the estimators as evident via the computation of asymptotic relative efficiency. Also studied are moment estimators of prevalence which have been shown to be correlated. Comparison with previous studies have been illustrated through application of the model on an example on estimating HIV/AIDS prevalence of which it was demonstrated that the proposed estimators are superior to previously studied estimators.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43007436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Understanding the pathophysiological basis of disc degeneration is essential for the development of treatment strategies that target the underlying mechanisms of disc degeneration rather than the downstream symptom of pain. Researchers are working on novel treatment strategies which aim to induce disc regeneration or to replace the degenerated disc. These strategies involve stem cells, growth factors, and gene therapy. At present, treatment options for degenerative disc disease remain suboptimal, and the novel treatment strategies are not accepted as the standard of care. Is there any difference between the aging and the degenerated disc? Is Discogenic pain the main cause of back pain, How do we explain back pain in the absence of any imaging abnormality. Or for that matter why do we find asymptomatic patient with features of gross degenerative changes in MRI of lumbar spine. Are some individuals genetically more predisposed to develop lumbar degenerative disc disease? These are some questions which need to be answered with a firm scientific conviction. Adding on to the complexity is the path physiology of pain mechanism. The pain of Low back pain which is nociceptive during the acute stage acquires central sensitization on assuming chronicity. There occurs a functional reorganization within the pain matrix of the brain. A brief outline is provided of our present understanding of, the anatomical basis of pain mechanism based on the current, available body of literature. In current scenario it is also proposed that since the cause of low back pain is multimodal, medical care providers should adopt a multi-disciplinary model in order to provide pain relief. The treatment modalities should include physical therapy, pharmacotherapy, interventional local pain modulating therapy and surgical intervention.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44883492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Everybody on earth requires access to clean, safe water on every day. The United Nations considers universal access to clean water a basic human right, and an essential step towards improving living standards worldwide. This resource is essential for hydration, food production as well as for the sanitation. The quantity of drinking water suffering occurs due to alarming depletion of ground water either by natural or man-made cause. Rainwater harvesting system is gaining speed over time. Areas with high rainfall can take advantages from this system which can significantly reduce the reliance on water storage dams and also will be able to distribute water to dry lands with ease. A combination of several key issues such as economic growth, political and social stability, political will, effective sectoral reform, management of demand, effective project implementation, environmental sustainability, effective information management and transfer, skills and human resources, mutual trust and dialogue within the region, and regional cooperation are required to avoid widespread water stress problems.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"48703241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the population ages, the importance of the behaviors and repercussions associated with older age groups increases, such as the situation of pensions, taxes and financing of the Social Security, ultimately the entire Welfare State [3] .With regard to the health and care needs of the elderly, there are two types of care, family and formal. The field of nursing specialized in the care of the elderly is Geriatrics [4]. Its purpose is to help the elderly and their caregivers to face the aging process, understanding it as a natural and adaptive process and intervening in maximizing their sources of power. According to Balboa [5], these are: physical strength, psychological and social reserve, self-concept and self-esteem, energy, motivation and beliefs. In order to empower and maintain them, it is necessary the participation of nursing professionals who stand out for their attitudes, skills and values in the field of ethics, humanitarian attitude, sensitivity, respect and affection for the elderly, as well as the interest of development and continuous professional training. Dependence in elderly people in Spain has become a serious problem both socially and healthily. According to the National Institute of Statistics [6] it is estimated that the ratio of dependents in 2066 in Spain will correspond to 34.6% of the population. This situation has caused that people without acute pathologies have been displaced from hospital care when the hospital has been crowded by the aging population. Currently, public health centers are very scarce, so the lack of coverage leads to the displacement of the elderly person from the hospital to the home, instead of recovering or achieving optimal maintenance through follow-up in the Day Centers or Residences. On the other hand, institutionalization is culturally associated with a lack of affection and responsibility of the family with the eldest, in addition to the fact that older people generally want to live in their homes [7]. However, when the care of the elderly is in the hands of nursing, professionals must apply their knowledge and skills, without forgetting the construction of the human nurse and client relationship, in order to ensure the improvement or cure of the disease, the relief of suffering, or in the last case, the accompaniment in the process of death. Nursing supplies the client when he can no longer take charge of self-care, and they encourages and reinforces when he can take care of himself, but does not have the strength, will or knowledge needed. In addition, nursing seeks to guarantee the physical and psychological intimacy of the elderly patient. The adaptation, acceptance and positive construction of aging are not easy","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45875592","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Its present distribution is limited to three isolated areas: northern Spain and western France, the Danube delta in Romania, and Ukraine and Russia. Hunting pressure, habitat loss and the impact of the alien American mink (Neovison vison) have all been proposed as reasons for this drastic decline. American mink is occupying the last European mink distribution areas leading to the disappearance of the latter species. To add to this dramatic situation, two new threats are currently undermining conservation efforts: firstly, the powerful fur trade lobby is trying to exclude the American mink from the Invasive Species List and secondly, a recent opinion is paradoxically proclaiming to consider southern populations of European mink as invasive species. However, there is an immediate need for energy and budgets to be focused on avoiding this mammal ́s imminent extinction.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49391526","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous studies showed that the selective inhibition of the endogenous aldose reductase 2 (ALR2) activities, responsible of the oxidative heart damage following diabetes, could be a therapeutic treatment for the high glucose-related cardiac alterations. Indeed, the newly synthetized ALR2 inhibitor, the benzofuroxane derivative 5(6)-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-ylmethoxy)benzofuroxane (BF-5m), dose-dependently reduced the long cardiac QT interval in isolated rat hearts perfused with high glucose, by increasing in parallel the expression and activity of endogenous antioxidant pathways and free radical scavengers such as SIRT1 and its targets MnSOD and FOXO-1. The reduction of the oxidative stress induced by BF-5m lead also modifications of the expression of KCNQ1/KCNE1 potassium channels subunits in H9c2 cardiomyocytes exposed to high glucose, modifying the expression levels of miR-1, involved in KCNQ1 and KCNE1 expression.","PeriodicalId":93074,"journal":{"name":"Annals of reviews and research","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"49291060","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
