Purpose: To summarize traditional problems and current scientific approaches in the study of socio-cultural factors of security and defense activities; to clarify the modern content of the concepts: “moral and psychological support”, “psychological support”, “work with the personnel”. Materials and Methods: The research methodology is based on the theoretical analysis of special psychological and pedagogical literature, the study and generalization of practical experience. Results: A comprehensive analysis of the socio-cultural foundations of the security and defense of the state has been carried out. The features and limitations of the official regulation of the activities of officials and control bodies for the moral and psychological support of the training and use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were revealed. The modern content of the concepts: “moral and psychological support”, “psychological support”, “work with the personnel” was clarified and defined. Conclusions: There is a need for an interdisciplinary approach to clarify the terminology used in the regulations governing the procedure for moral and psychological support. However, its informativeness is limited, because it does not take into consideration the rhythmic characteristics of spontaneous respiration, which according to many scientists determine the regulatory effects on external respiration, taking into account the activity of chemo-and mechanoreceptors. Riabtsev","doi":"10.26697/ijes.2020.1.5","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.26697/ijes.2020.1.5","url":null,"abstract":"Background and Aim of Study: Abdominal injuries, due to a blunt and penetrating mechanism of origin, have a marked mortality rate from hemorrhage and sepsis. Diagnosis and treatment of damage to the duodenum is one of the complex problems of emergency abdominal surgery, although they are rare and account for 0.2-0.6% of all trauma patients and 1-4.7% of all abdominal injuries . The aim of the study: to research the dynamics of the concentration in the blood of the factor of VEGF angiogenesis and a marker of damage to the digestive tract I-FABP in adults with various postoperative consequences of trauma to the duodenum. Studies were conducted in 60 patients (mean age 36 (18-73) years) with isolated and multiple traumatic injuries of duodenum ≥ grade II according to AAST criteria operated in the period 2006-2019. Results: The level of I-FABP was higher in patients who had complications and needed reoperation and correlated with the severity of the patients’ condition, and according to Spearman’s criterion the comparisons were valid in all three periods of study (p=0.002, p=0.000, p=0.001). Since 2018, the Journal has published more than 200 manuscripts, including: Original Research, Review Articles, Brief Reports, Conference Abstracts, Reviews, Letters to the Editor. IJES Editorial Board includes the most authoritative scientists from 14 countries, 5 continents in the fields of Education, Psychology, Economics, Medicine.
