The current trend in delayed childbearing has resulted in increased health concerns among women. Numerous studies have reported the physical and mental health challenges faced by women with high parity, such as general fatigue, depression [1], postpartum stress [2], altered sleep patterns [3], and weight gain [4]. Studies have investigated the physiological and psychological effects of increasing parity on women’s health. Women bearing multiple children are exposed to these risks at an increased rate and require more time to recover. However, women have less time for both leisure [5] and sleep after bearing children [6]. Adequate sleep duration is essential to maintain good health. Methods: In this study, frequency analysis and paired t-test were conducted using a survey conducted before and after the use of the services. Results: ‘Cognitive training’ and ‘Art therapy’ were the most frequent cognitive activity programs implemented, but they did not operate specialized programs for each dementia severity. In addition, day care centers presented difficulties such as a lack of manuals for operating cognitive activity programs. The rate of satisfaction with the service use of cognitive-assistance graders and willingness to continue using the service was high. It was found that they additionally hoped for mobility support necessary for going out and health care services by nurses. After using day care centers, there was little change in cognitive function, depression, and health-related quality of life of cognitive assistance graders. Conclusions: In order to develop a program suitable for the characteristics of cognitive assistance graders, it is necessary to develop a manual and provide professional training for workers in day care centers.","PeriodicalId":91119,"journal":{"name":"Journal of health informatics","volume":"46 1","pages":"204-211"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45466078","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: The participants were 184 nursing students in South Korea who have experience in clinical practices. Data were collected from November 20 to December 7, 2019. Descriptive statistics, t-test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression were used with IBM SPSS/WIN 22.0 Statistics Program for data analysis. Results: The mean score was, for self-efficacy, 3.46 for communication ability, 3.81 for empathy, 2.54, and ego resilience, 3.50. It was found that there were significant differences in ego resilience depending on the grade (t = -2.58, p= 0.011) and personality (t = -3.25, p= 0.001). There was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy, communication ability, empathy, and ego resilience. The significant variables which influence ego resilience were self-efficacy (β= 0.30, p< 0.001), communication ability (β= 0.20, p= 0.018) and, empathy (β= 0.18, p= 0.010) were found to be the factors that influence ego resilience with the explanation power of 32.4%. Conclusions: In conclusion, these results suggest a need to increase the efforts of nursing schools to increase the ego resilience of nursing students. Methods: This study was descriptive research design. The data were collected from June to September 2020, 116 elderly people (aged over 65 years), who visited senior community centers. Data were analyzed using Windows SPSS Statistics 27.0 program. Collected data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis. Results: The mean score of cognitive function was 24.13 ± 3.82, subjective memory was 2.59 ± 2.61, depression was 7.05 ± 7.30 and sleep was 4.49 ± 2.82. The results showed that depression was correlated with cognitive function (r = -0.20, p= 0.033) and subjective memory (r = 0.31, p= 0.001). Cognitive function was negatively correlated with subjective memory (r = -0.24, p= 0.011) and depression (r = -0.20, p= 0.033). In addition, Subjective memory was positively correlated with sleep (r = 0.25, p= 0.006).
