New social constructionemerges as a form of reaction from the community in responding to socialrealities and social phenomena at this time, one of which is theimplementation of the five daily prayers in the mosque. To reveal thisreality, researchers tried to analyze the behavior of the Tuatunu Indahurban community in dealing with the pandemic and explain how theprocess of forming social construction related to the co-19 pandemic. Thisresearch was conducted using a qualitative research method with aphenomenological approach. Researchers collected data using observation,interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique wascarried out by using data management components such as datareduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The theory used is thetheory of social construction by Peter L Berger, this theory was chosen toexplain the process of forming social construction of the Tuatunu IndahVillage community in dealing with the co-19 pandemic. The resultsshowed that community behavior in dealing with the covid-19 pandemicdepends on the role of actors, especially when conveying messages throughsurahs in the Koran and hadiths on how to deal with the covid-19pandemic. In addition, the results also show that regulations and policiesin dealing with the covid-19 pandemic have received a negative responsefrom the Tuatunu Indah community","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79620173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Progress may rest on exploring the cognitive roots of Luther’s Reformation. Bernard Stiegler’s reflections on the relationship between human beings and technologies illustrate why and how the development of modern technologies induced such “inhuman conditions”. It begins with the descriptions of alienation by machines and the loss of knowledge of work. Subsequently, it describes culture industry and the loss of knowledge of life leading to an one-dimensional society and human spiritual disorientation. Then it illustrates how the ubiquitous programmed automaton (UPA) and the tyranny “24/7 capitalism” have contributed to the reign of stupefaction and stupidity and the loss of theoretical knowledge. It shows that the inhuman conditions are frustrating consequences of “the loss of all knowledge” as well as the “devaluation of spirit”. Overcoming of inhuman conditions requires human beings to reinvent knowledge as “knowledge of work” instead of “alienated labor or pure employment”, to reinvest the time liberated by technology in the re-sublimation of the human spirit and to re-enchant the world with an improvement in spiritual ecology.  ","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45157083","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on Kant's philosophy of law and the doctrine of \"external identifiable signs\" advocated by natural law scholars, Wellspacher further developed the theory of reliance on external constitutive facts based on the private law history of the idea of publicity. This theory did not originate from the criticism of the doctrine of dispositive authority, which was only one of the starting points of the doctrinal work in this theory and did not take a central position. The theory of appearance of rights was not pioneered or created by Wellspacher, but existed before him; Wellspacher is credited with distilling and abstracting the general principles from the scattered legal provisions, and establishing the basic framework for future generations of appearance of rights liability.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"41817490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted in Sweden. Immigrants in Sweden migrated from different countries and ethnic streams, many of which have different cultural norms and beliefs that may not fit well with the mainstream culture in Sweden. The method used in the study was the qualitative method with a semi-structured interview. Purposive and snowball sampling was used to locate the participants. Thus, this study aims to explore how assimilation, acculturation, and social Integration can psychologically affect mixed marriages between immigrants and native Swedes. Previously study focused on the positive assimilation of immigrants in the labor markets but not assimilation in marriage. Immigrants in Sweden have different families and social, cultural, and religious backgrounds with beliefs and norms that can be hard during the process of Integration, assimilation, and acculturation. The result indicated all the participants expressed positive and negative emotions that contributed to the conflict in their marriage during the assimilation, acculturation, and Social Integration process. These negative emotions of scary, worst pain, divorce sucks, gamophobia, bad, and subjection of children to the tragic scene, shameful thing influence mental health and is not a good thing. The results also indicate motivation, cultural beliefs, attitudes, and behavior after divorce. The finding will give awareness during the assimilation, acculturation, and social Integration; most immigrants may gradually lose all the markers, such as language, food, and customs.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83096468","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Any individual who challenges community norms will be coerced to conform via segregation or rumor. This paper compares community characteristics, community conflicts and effects of segregation and rumors of the protagonists Sula in Toni Morison’s Sula to Emily in William Faulkner’s A Rose for Emily. Although the protagonists Sula and Emily act differently, they both suffer from community segregation and gossip. The tragedies of the two heroines illustrate the discipline and punishment a community inflicts upon its nonconforming members.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"64 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91046019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Advances in social psychology have proven the importance of studying not only the conscious mechanisms of humans but also the \"implicit\" and \"automatic\" ones. Researchers in social psychology distinguish explicit attitudes, evaluations resulting from an introspective effort, from implicit attitudes, automatic evaluations of which the individual may not be aware. Cognitive psychology researchers have already proven that implicit beliefs are much more important in decision-making than explicit beliefs even in what might be considered rational and/or scientific realms. Greenwald and Banaji (1995) introduced the term implicit social cognition to describe cognitive processes that occur outside of human consciousness. Implicit social cognitions were initially applied to psychology, but they are beginning to be introduced in other disciplines, notably in marketing. This article aims to provide a conceptual framework of the implicit attitude and its measurement tools through a multidisciplinary theoretical exploration. Therefore, the research method used in this paper is the analysis of the classic literature. This paper summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discussion on the issue of implicit mechanisms in the marketing field. This review theoretically proves that the study of implicit social cognitions is a field of research with many challenges, particularly related to consumer behavior analysis because it allows marketers to understand influences unknown to the subject himself.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"13 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88580237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is evidence that establish that setting an inflation target as a nominal anchor that constrains price movements to a particular point or within a pre-agreed range is indispensable for economic growth. Application of the Bai-Perron structural breakpoints test to the data detected two breaks dated 1999 and 2011. The Lee-Strazicich Unit Root Test showed that the data were cointegrated. The threshold estimation for optimal inflation values in the 5% to 25% band revealed that the residual sums of squares, RSS, is minimized and the R2 is maximized at an optimal inflation threshold of 18% with a statistically significant regression model, suggesting that the optimal inflation target for economic growth in Nigeria is 18%. The Autoregressive Distributed Lag model (ARDL) estimate shows that a 1% increase in inflation leads to an increase of 0.017% GDP growth in Nigeria in the long-run. The estimation of the ARDL model indicate that the coefficients of exchange rate, trade openness and population growth present mixed signaling in relation to GDP growth in the long- and short-run. Our results indicate that the implementation of the inflation targeting framework in a credible, transparent and accountable way could help to anchor inflation expectations, rein in inflation and improve economic growth in Nigeria.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"115 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74824542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
