The purpose of this study is to investigate the value of family and friendship ties in financing millennial entrepreneurs. This study will focus on analyzing the level of support and financial assistance millennial entrepreneurs receive from their family and friends. In addition, this study will examine the factors that influence family and friends' decision to finance millennial entrepreneurial ventures. The research will be conducted through surveys and in-depth interviews with millennial entrepreneurs and their funder family and friends. The findings of this research will provide valuable insights into the importance of human relationships in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and inform future support programs for young entrepreneurs. The data used in this study are the results of a questionnaire given to small and medium business actors in the ex-residency area of Surakarta. The method used in this research is the method of SEM-PLS. The finding of multiple regression analysis techniques reveals that e value of family ties and the value of friendship had a significant influence on providing funding for entrepreneurs. These findings suggest that young entrepreneurs should pay attention to and be able to build strong relationships with their family and friends in the hope that these relationships can play an important role in securing funding for their business. The next research is expected to be able to study more deeply about its effect on the surplus value obtained compared to unrelated third party financing","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"488 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79984703","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper has also gotten opinions on the screening process from the NEPSE from the interviewees and their opinion on the distribution nature of the return from the market. The paper followed the grounded theory to come with certain theories from the opinions. The paper found that the strong fundamentals of the listed companies were a concern for the interviewees. Similarly, wrong information and trading procedures were seen as concerns among interviewees. The paper found from interviews that the published financial reports of the listed companies helped in screening the shares to make a better portfolio among the Nepalese econophysicist-cum-investors. Finally, in the context of the distribution nature of NEPSE return, most interviewees viewed that the return follows the normal distribution. The interviewees viewed that the market return follows the power-law when the bull-run continues, backed by the extreme magnitude of trade volume as well as the perfect political and economic condition of the nation. They also linked the nature of return distribution with the behavioral factors of the investment decision process.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"93 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"85851791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The community is a group of youth who are members of a tourism awareness group organization. The tourism awareness group is Pokdarwis Pelintar Perlang Village, Central Bangka Regency. One of the tours currently being developed is Pading Lake tourism which is a former tin mining area. In this study there is social capital as a strength possessed by youth groups to achieve common goals both socially and economically. Social capital arises in this environment because of the interactions that exist within a group which are influenced by trust, rules or norms and social networks. The aim of this research is to find out and describe the strategy for developing padding lake tourism in Perlang Village, knowing the opportunities and challenges in developing pading lake tourism which of course cannot be separated from the inhibiting factors. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach in which there are primary data sources from in-depth interviews with informants. This study took as many as 14 informants with the technique of determining informants using purposive sampling technique. This study uses the theory of Social Capital from Robert Putnam which focuses on three elements, namely trust, norms and social networks. The results of the research show that the development strategy is to develop facilities and infrastructure in the Pading Lake tourist destination area, create business opportunities and tourist attractions (camping ground), improve post-mining land rehabilitation, increase promotion, increase human resources. Then there are inhibiting factors, namely inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Furthermore, the opportunity is to help create business actors. The closed access to land is felt by the Mapur Indigenous People who have a constellation of customary forests, the inability to gain access is interpreted as exclusion. Exclusion does not occur randomly, but is shaped by the interaction of power. This research is to analyze the process of exclusion of the Mapur Indigenous People and describe the implications of exclusion for the lives of the Mapur Indigenous People. The case study method is used because of the uniqueness of the cases and their research subjects which are unique and different from other subjects. Collecting data using observation interviews, documentation, and archival records. The results of this study indicate that ini the process of exclusion, it was initiated by the tin case through the deregulation of the tin trading system which made changes to the pattern of life of the Mapur Indigenous People to become modern, with the expansion of oil palm, the Mapur Indigenous People could no longer freely acces tin because land did not exist, also with agriculture. From the process of exclusion, there are forces that work to shape exclusion, namely the market, regulation, coercion, and legitimacy. The implications of this exclusion are loss of land caused by incoming corporations, uprooting of their identity because they feel unappreciated, and conflicts between close relatives or conflicts from within which damage the family structure and interactions between them.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90574036","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the last decade, Tire sector in Egypt witnessed many changes due to market dynamics and economic challenges, that require being adaptive in the decision-making process. The purpose of this study first is to define the different decision-making styles adopted by the decision makers in our case. The population of the study focuses on decision makers of a local family business. Secondly, is to measure the correlation between the dominant decision-making styles and the age groups, Job stress and Leadership styles. The selected model is based on Simon's concept of \"bounded rationality\" which has provided the conceptual foundation for much behavioral decision research, (Einhorn & Hogarth, 1981). Using certain tools such as GDMS, Job stress and Multi-factor Leadership Questionnaires. Study applied quantitative online survey then analyzed using scale reliability, test-re-test reliability, Cronbach’s alpha, descriptive, chi-square, and normality tests using SPSS. Results revealed that Rational-dependent, and intuitive decision-making styles are affected by different levels of perceived job stress also, the three leadership styles Transformational, Transactional, and Laissez-faire.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43127070","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using panel data from nineteen African countries (1980-2020), the study employs the fixed effects with robust standard errors and without AR (1) disturbances’ assumption. Further, the paper estimates the fixed effects with country-specific effects and AR (1) disturbances’ assumption and adjusted for autocorrelation, finally, the study employs the random effects with instrumental variables to deal with the presence of endogeneity in the data. Our empirical results highlight a negative relationship between the financial factors and domestic investment in our study. The country fixed effect revealed globally a negative correlation with domestic investment. The empirical findings seem to support the neoclassical view; however, the pertinence of such a result is not effective in the context of Africa where the capital market is incomplete, and the rationing of credit and government inferences exist in the capital market, as it is contrary to the neoclassical assumptions of conventional models.","PeriodicalId":90554,"journal":{"name":"International journal of social science studies","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79338795","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
