This can be extended to more than two intersections arterial network by expanding the groups which are explained in this paper. These models are developed under time varying incoming flow rates of vehicles. The most important factor of traffic signal control is the number of vehicles in a queue on the lanes of intersections. The initial number of vehicles on each lane at the intersections is counted by a camera which is the most exact method among other existing methods. These models are developed to minimize the number of waiting vehicles from cycle to cycle. These proposed models include inter green signal time this is one of the main aspect compared to other existing models proposed in the former research. These models also include restriction for upper bound for cycle time allocation which leads to exact and appropriate allocation for green signal time. Nonnegative queue lengths on lanes are maintained under special conditions for oversaturation case. The lower bound of green signal time is attained by oversaturation conditions of the models. These proposed models are solved by the interior point algorithm method coded in MATLAB environment.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"105 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87416052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All irrigation solutions significantly decreased root canal dentin microhardness (P < 0.05). The greatest reduction was induced by Dual Rinse HEDP (P < 0.05), while 17% EDTA and 17% EDTA + 2.5% NaOCl showed a similar reduction with no significant difference (P > 0.05). SEM analysis did not show any erosion of the dentin surface in the randomly selected specimens. In this study, irrigation solutions have not induced root canal dentin erosion, but significantly reduced the dentin micro-hardness. The greatest reduction was induced by Dual Rinse HEDP.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"39 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77061528","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, if the paperboard thickness increases its strength increases. Different applications can affect paperboard structure especially coatings and inks. Because of this reason, in this study, the effect of offset printing ink on cardboard strength was investigated. In order to control the ink coated paperboard strength properties after printing, different types of paperboards were used with different grammage, thickness and surface properties. Paperboard samples were 1-ply, 2-ply, 3-ply and 5 different grammages as 215, 240, 250, 290 and 350 g/m 2 .All samples were printed with a one-unit offset printing machine. After drying, tensile, elongation, stiffness, tear and bursting tests were performed on the both printed and unprinted paperboards according to TAPPI standards. The paperboards showed different behaviors according to the applied tests. Some of them show significant changes, but some of them do not. The printed and unprinted sample values were compared only for the same paperboard grades.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"16 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82719694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation of state was tuned using experimental data and PhazeComp software to obtain the EOS model which represents fluid behavior change in the R reservoir. A contribution is provided in a relationship between specific gravity and molecular weight, which is a modified form of Soreide equation for C7+ characterization. Constants of the equation are determined using linear regression to fit experimental data. A residual oil in the reservoir is recognized using EOS calculation; PVT data generated in this paper can be used to study its potential to condensate blockage and well deliverability. Gas and oil PVT tables are generated for saturated and undersaturated condition, they can be used in reservoir simulation of R reservoir.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"102 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80108162","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In pathological eye conditions, numerous studies have noted the importance of CS, in early diagnosis. Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a progressive retinal disease and a common cause of blindness for patients over 50’s that cannot be detected only by visual acuity. Although various studies described the impact of AMD on psychophysical daily activities, the quality of life is defined as the general well-being and health of individuals. Current research aims to revise the CS test as diagnostic and predictive clinical tool of visual function by simulating AMD. Statistical analysis of the results, demonstrated statistically significant decline from Normal to Early, Medium and Advanced stages of simulated disease, but no significant difference between right and left eyes or between genders.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"167 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80505624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods: Three, right-handed (age 19.3 years ± 1.5 years; height 1.74 meters ± .13 meters; mass 81 kilograms ± 20.4 kilograms; baseball experience 14.2 years ± 1.3 years)volunteered. Maximal bat velocity was obtained by swinging the 30oz standard bat for the control condition. Participants were then instructed to perform a general and specific warm-up with each of the weighted bats (standard bat with 16oz donut ring (46oz total) and standard bat with 24oz power sleeve (54oz total)) on separate days. Following the warm-up procedures, participants were instructed to swing 3 times with the 30oz standard bat for maximal velocity while impacting the ball resting on the tee located belt-high and in the middle of home plate. Results: No significant differences were revealed by Shewart Chart method for baseball bat velocity. Conclusion: Based upon no changes in the dependent variable in the population tested, Division II collegiate athletes can choose any of the warm-up devices investigated because no deleterious effects were observed.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"46 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81081600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Erlang C is a simple model that ignores caller abandonment and is the most commonly used model. The Erlang A model allows for abandonment, but performance measures are more difficult to calculate. We compare the theoretical performance predictions of these models to a steady state simulation model where many of the simplifying assumptions used in standard analytical models are relaxed. Our findings support the assertion that the Erlang A model is more accurate, but we find that in contrast to the Erlang C model, Erlang A tends to be optimistically biased. Our findings indicate that neither model clearly dominates the other in all situations and that care must be taken to select the correct model based on call center conditions and the intended purpose of the model.","PeriodicalId":89777,"journal":{"name":"International journal of applied science and technology","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89665922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
