Nutrition, physical performance and the level of functional capacity of the human beings are interrelated. Any dietary deficiency that adversely affects the health of the individual is likely to impair his or her physical performance capacity. The purpose of the present study was to find out the effect of concurrent training combined with selected nutritional design on selected physical fitness components of male football players. To achieve the purpose of this study, 28 male football players’ subjects of Nekemte Kenema were selected by using census sampling technique and their age ranged from 20 to 24 years old. The subjects were undergone twelve weeks concurrent training combined with selected nutritional design for three days per week with duration of 70 minutes. Subjects of experimental groups were tested on physical fitness components prior to and after the 12 weeks consumption of nutrition design combined with training period. The data collected from the participants pre and post-test was statistically examined to find out the significant improvement by using SPSS version 20, descriptive and paired t-test. In all cases, the criteria for statistical significance were set at 0.05 level of confidence (P<0.05). The results show that there were significant positive changes on selected physical fitness components.","PeriodicalId":89697,"journal":{"name":"Journal of yoga & physical therapy","volume":"11 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69974287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a segment of creative cosmos we too create, self- reflect and come to know creator within. This is one of the best ways to know god, is through the knowing self. Another aspect that Nikola tesla clearly explained that lower the energy lower the operating consciousness .That means operating consciousness directly dependent on energy. The question is how to raise the energy level psychologically, we all know that energy is obtained from food and thoughts, recent neuro-scientific evidence can be interpreted in a way that suggests consciousness is a product of the organization of energetic activity in the brain. The nature of energy itself, though, remains largely mysterious, and we do not fully understand how it contributes to brain function or consciousness. But this paper clearly explains how operating consciousness and energy are synchronised each other. We all know love is the basis for energy healing; the question is up to what extent you can love others? The Vedanta philosophy clearly promotes to love others at highest extent. This paper clearly proofs how universal consciousness (Vedanta philosophy) and energy are synchronized each other.","PeriodicalId":89697,"journal":{"name":"Journal of yoga & physical therapy","volume":"11 1","pages":"1-4"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69974338","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yoga classes have seen people lining up to learn from an experienced Yogi or yogini. Despite the challenges of distance and time, people have always been walking into a class to learn. The benefits of yoga have always pushed people towards it and people have taken great pains to attend Yoga Classes. Lock down and social distancing have been the biggest challenges the pandemic has brought down unto us. In times like this, a yoga class would be essential since it helps reduce stress and brings about a positive attitude. With the whole world opting to work online, study online, the idea of an online yoga class took seed. Sunita Wadhawan explored this area by conducting a month-long, live, online yoga class. Different yogic exercises both physical and mental were carried out by students under the watchful guidance of the teacher through technology. This paper discusses the challenges and advantages of an online yoga class specifically its need in testing times. “A yogi is not only flexible in his/her body but also finds creative ways to solve a problem” Says Sunita Wadhawan. It is this adaptability and openness that led to these online classes. The outcome of these classes was recorded through a questionnaire and on evaluation of the responses, it was found that all the traditional thought about importance of physical proximity of the teacher and student could be after all a myth. Yoga classes could very well be conducted online and its effectiveness not compromised at all. In fact the classes ensured a diverse and geographically spread out group could come together as a class. The teacher was also quite satisfied with the progress of the group. Online Yoga classes could well be the future of Yoga and its dissemination throughout the world.","PeriodicalId":89697,"journal":{"name":"Journal of yoga & physical therapy","volume":"11 1","pages":"1-3"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"69974363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
